Cleaning out the thermal heating unit for W510

I am worried that there is dust in my thermal unit that has begun to impact performance. I got my W510 about 2 years ago. Things that use to run well are starting to drop in frame rates and my GPU and CPU temperatures are getting hotter than usual levels. Even when browsing the web, my computer continues to rise in temperature. It does not get to melting levels, but it seems like my W510 is becoming less effecient at keeping it self cool. There is quite a bit of dust build up usually around my workstation area.
Is there a way of cleaning out the thermal heating unit without having to take my W510 apart? I am comfortable doing so but just wanted to know if there was another way...or if you guys even suspect that may be the problem. Maybe getting it serviced might be a better recomendation? Might even need a new thermal heating unit...

It is a good idea to clean that out at least once a year as part of normail maintenance. You'd be surprised how often people buy new laptops not realizing that they just need to clean out the heatsink/fan assembly. If cleaning that out does nothing it may be an issue with your OS. My T510 was getting quite warm for a while and a reinstall ended up fixing the issue. I still have no idea what was causing the heat though since nothing was pegging my CPU.

Physical memory is the memory that is installed on your computer as real memory. To be able to run programs that require more memory and more programs at the same time (via time sharing and task switching) it is also possible to move (swap) currently not needed code and data to disk to make room for other programs and data. The total memory available for programs is the Virtual Memory.
You can check the Virtual Memory settings here: Control Panel > System > Advanced > Performance > Settings (Advanced tab)<br />
Windows can manage more memory then is physical available and that memory is stored in a page file on your hard drive.
If the size of that file is not large enough and all available memory is in use then you get the Virtual Memory is low warning.
Make sure that you have at least 1 GB or the recommended setting for the Virtual Memory.
If you have less than 1 GB physical memory installed on your computer then if possible add more memory.

I have the 4s. I have recently restored my settings and cleaned out the ports. I still cannot hear my audio for music or videos. My volume on the side of the phone does not work either. Everything workds in the setting menu. It is not a speaker issue because the ringtone works when people are calling and I can listen to the different ringtones as well. My notifications and text message audio does not work. My phone does not say that it is on a dock. When I try listening to music, the volume adjustment appears, but it is gray and unusable. Everything works when headphones are in plugged in and when it is on the dock. This started with the last iPhone update. What else can I do... this is becoming very frustrating.

Really strange problem you have there. I have a few questions though.
Please try again and try to make the phone as a new without restoringen with you iCloud-data or backup-data from iTunes. Maybe it is something wrong with the data (strange).
Anyway, i think you should call Apple Support or visit an Apple Store, don't forgot to make a Genius Bar reservation.

MIGO - Blank out the Qty in unit of entry field on PO receipt

Within MIGO upon PO receipt, standard behaviour is that it defaults Qty in unit of entry field to the total remaining outstanding qty.
Customer has requirement to blank out the Qty in unit of entry field on PO receipt.
We have looked at Business Add Ins for MIGO (e.g MB_MIGO_ITEM_BADI, MB_MIGO_BADI etc) and does not appear to be feasible.
Does anyone know a way to do this ?

I downloaded Lion on my iMac. It apparently cleaned out the hard drive. Nothing shows up from before. It looks like a brand new computer. It is backed up on Time machine. Any idea of why this happened and suggestions on restoring? Thanks.

I downloaded Lion on my 4 yr old iMac. The download stalled at the last minute so I clicked "CANCEL". When it was restarted, Lion was there, with no apparent option but to go ahead and install so I assumed it was okay. Didn't transfer data from "another computer" when prompted - assumed it would transfer from that computer. It apparently cleaned out the hard drive. It looks like a brand new computer. None of my apps, programs, files, or thousands of photos.   It is backed up on Time machine, but it's a sickening sight. Any idea why this happened and suggestions before restoring? Thanks.

I cannot find this 300GB "Backup" in the Finder, only in the Storage info when I check "About This Mac".
You are probably using Time Machine to backup your MacBook Pro, right? Then the additional 300 GB could be local Time Machine snapshots. Time Machine will write the hourly backups to the free space on your hard disk, if the backup drive is temporarily not connected. You do not see these local backups in the Finder, and MacOS will delete them, when you make a regular backup to Time Machine, or when you need the space for other data.

You have tested the library on the external drive, and so your photos are save there.
The local TimeMachine snapshot probably now contains a backup of the moved library. Try, if connecting your Time Machine drive will reduce the size of your local Time Machine snapshots.

Do a search for details on cleaning up the "open with" dialog, it's been discussed before but I'm sorry I can't remember what the fixes are.
I have duplicate choices too but have never tried to clean them up.

A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
No content is affected by this procedure.

Since Apple designed iOS (per Steve Jobs' insistence) to be specifically incompatible with Flash, I wouldn't worry about what Flash content to use in headers for devices that can never, and will never, be able to see it.

Take the memory card out of the camer and put it in a card reader. When it mounts on the desktop select it and try to change the name. However, that might make it incompatible with the camera. You'll just have to try and see.

If you registered PSE before, go to the main page of adobe.com, sign in and go to your account and you should find the serial number there in your purchases.

Hi Shabbirmdpasha,
If you know the user name then you can find the idoc numbers created by that user. But the problem here is it not only gives the material it gives all the idocs created by that user. Go to SE16 --> table name EDIDS --> here you can fill the approximate date and in UNAME give the userid and execute. This will give all the idocs created by that user. I know it is only a partial solution.
