Cleaning up email, text, and phone

Just moved from a BlackBerry to Droid Razr Maxx and don't intuitively find a way to Delete All for email, text, and phone lists. Any advice? Thank you.

Congratulations on the upgrade to your new Razr Maxx.
The OS with an Android is considerably different than the OS for the Blackberry.
With that being said, there isn't a way to delete email, texts and phone calls all in one swoop.
To delete multiple emails, you can go to the email icon, select Menu, Select all.
To delete multiple text messages you can go to the Messages, long press on the message conversations you want to delete and they will turn blue. In the upper right hand corner you will see a trash can and it will delete the selected messages when pressed.
To clear call logs, go to the the Phone icon, press menu and Clear List.

Hi. I just got my BB Tour and was wondering if there is a way to silence email alerts while keeping text and phone call ring tones active? I've tried adjusting the profile under Message Alerts section but it doesn't work. I've silenced everything but SMS text and Phone but I still get a ring tone whenever I get an email. It's annoying since emails come relatively often.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was confused by this as well, but it eventually just sorted itself out.
There was probably a reboot involved.
I do remember selecting "None" for the email alerts, and still getting them. Then, it was fixed.
If you haven't already, try removing the battery and rebooting. I know, it's the same lame suggestion for everything, but at least I offer hope that it's fixable.

Engage the mute switch while you're on the call. It's the little slider switch over the volume buttons on the side of the phone.

MEGAVIDEO KEEPS TELLING ME TO DWNLD NEW VERSION OF ADOBE FLASH PLAYER - I HAVE ALREADY. i would like to revert back to the older version of ghostery worked well - HOW DO I DO THIS AS WELL? THANKS

Thanks for reading my question. I had gone through the Muse styles for links and that was not the problem. I tried it on a different computer this morning and everything went fine, even in altering the styles. I am not sure what the problem was.....only the cloud knows.

But while , we are checking in email , Invoice is coming as attachement, email body is not apprearing in email .

I have maintained text for email body in specific output type for Invoice
In NACE transaction , in V3 Billing , I have Output type RD0M, in that I have maintained
email Body.
But on the time of generating the Invoice email for Vendor , only Invoice is going in email as attachement,
Email Body which I have maintained in NACE is not coming .
Any Suggestion ?

Corrupt sms text audio text that keeps sounding when receiving texts and phone calls

Help!! I opened a text SMS that had a audio noise attached to it now my phone plays the audio noise whenever i get a sms or mms text and when I make phone calls or dial the phone. I deleted the text and it still is on my phone. This is a huge problem becasue I can't leave my phone on with this noise.

I would go one stage further...
What are the Aliases set against your Own Apple ID in Messages Menu > Preferences > Accounts > iMessages account.
As has been said a share Apple ID here will sync (Display) everything from all iOS devices using the same iPhone Numbers and Apple ID
I have two iPhone (therefore two Numbers and had to say "No" to adding them as active Aliases. (Send and Receive Names or IDs)
If an email that you share has been Added as an Alias in your setings you will have this "Overlap" issue.

Make a backup of the old device and restore the new device to that backup. You will get an exact duplicate of the old phone.

IOS 7 downloaded fine but I can't back up restored. Tried 3 times. Tried turning off iCloud. Now I can only receive texts and phone messages. I cannot make calls, retrieve phone messages or send any texts. When I try I just get a blank screen. HELP

I initially tried to do this at 11:39pm last night. I cleaned up my apps, backed up to my computer and then took the plunge. It downloaded fine, everything went ok until I tried to restore backup. I received a message that there was an error in iTunes and iPhone could not be restored. I tried this three times giving up at 2:00 am. I tried again at 7:30am. No fix. Now I can open up phone and browse in safari. I can get notifications that a text was received or a phone message left but I can't receive or make phone calls, retrieve phone messages, or access any text features. Also I have NO purchased apps. I use my phone got work and this has ruined my day - please help!!

I would start with going to O2 with the phone and making sure it's set up properly - maybe the SIM they gave you isn't quite right or their network isn't acknowleding it like it should.
Seeing as you've tried restoring to factory settings and resetting network settings, I'm assuming you've tried restoring the phone as new, just to see if that helped at all. If that didn't help, you definitely need to get in touch with O2 and work things out with them.

Imessage is on but message is being sent as text and phone is not recieving imessages

Over the past month since the ios 7.1 update I have been having imessage problems. With imessage enabled and utilizing wifi and cellular data, the phone will send out messages as texts to other iphones and not as imessages and i am not receiving imessages. Typically what happens is that the ellipsis (...) shows up as if there is a pending message but nothing ever comes through and on the other persons end who sent the message it says it was delivered. This happens very frequently and it is very frustrating as it has been occuring for over a month now. I have tried everything from restoring it and setting it up as a new phone, using a new apple id, got a replacement phone from apple, got 2 new sim cards from att, attempted every imessage trouble shoot I could find and yet the problem persists. Does anyone have any insight to this problem?

Based on the limited information you provide, it could be:
That person is not using an iOS device (iMessage will only send to Apple products)
You are not using the registered receive address for iMessage
iMessage is turned off on that person's device.

I read your post, and it sounds as though you'd like to learn how to silence your device. I have linked to an article that will instruct you on how to do that:

Adjusting the Volume
When you're on the phone or listening to songs, movies, or other media, the buttons on the side of iPhone adjusts the audio volume. Otherwise, the buttons control the volume for the ringer, alerts, and other sound effects.
To adjust the volume, use the buttons on the side of iPhone.
Flip the Ring/Silent switch to change between ring and silent modes.
When set to ring mode, iPhone plays all sounds. When set to silent mode, iPhone doesn't ring or sound any alerts or sound effects (alarms set using Clock do sound). By default, when you get a call, iPhone vibrates whether it's set to ring or silent mode.
If iPhone is set to ring mode, you can silence a call by pressing the Sleep/Wake button or one of the volume buttons once. Press a second time to send the call to voicemail.

HT1222 having problem's receiving texts and phone calls and all contacts are coming up as unknown when they ring

I recently bought a new iphone 4s two weeks ago. with the last two day's people cannot get throught to me, Even do i have full reception on the vodafone ireland network it says my phone is powered off. Also when someone does eventually get throught to me there number comes up "unknown" even do its saved in my contacts and there name used to show up. Also i receive text message a few hours after there orignaly sent... Please help!!!

You shouldn't be charged if it's a hardware issue, it is under warranty for one year. As stated above, out sounds like something you installed like a messaging app. Keep in mind that not all applications in the market are safe. Factory reset and try again. If that doesn't help, go into a dealer and demand a replacement.

There are two buttons on the left side of your phone, one with a "+" etching, and one with a "-" etching. Click those to turn your volume up or down.

Email text and links display as capital A in a box?

I recently upgraded my computer to a Macbook Pro 13 inch and restored all my software from a Time Machine backup. I decided to install MS Office for Mac and all the links in my emails (Mail) began displaying as a capital A in a box. Adobe emails are completely displayed this way (every character).
