  • Clear POJO Data control cache

Hi I am using Jdev 11.1.1.7
I have a POJO based Data control which am using for tree structure.
I have this tree inside a popup.
So when cancelling or after the purpose of the popup is over.
I want to clear the cache of the data control.
I tried several ways to do that like having a methods in my java class where making the object  null and calling the methods on cancel.
    But nothing worked .
How to clear the Pojo DC.

    Hi AlejandroTLanz   ,
    I tried the above method.
I created a method in Java class which is used to make the List null used by the tree.
    And then calling finditerator.executequery.
I could see that the list is getting null.
But In Java sampler It still shows that Objects are present.
I guess the Object are still in data control cache...
I tried to clear the DC Cache by calling the DC.resetMethod.
    But nothing worked

  • How to clear app data in Open Office?

    Hi,
A few days ago Open Office wasn't responding or something and I force quit the app. Now, when I open it again, it comes up with this query window.
No matter what I click, "Don't Restore Windows" or "Restore Windows", that windows won't go away. Thankfully I can move it over and still use Open Office, but it's pretty anoying, and it won't let me quit the either, I have to force quit it.
Is there a way to clear the apps caches/data or something so it doesn't do this?
    Thanks!
    Daniel

A couple of years late, but for other googelers:
Delete the "org.openoffice.script.savedState" folder in ~/Library/Saved Application State
    Should work!

  • IPhone Apps - Data Cache

When I go the iphone menu:  Setting > General > Usage, I can see the size of each App.
Most apps are relatively small in size, but the Info & data size grows everyday as I use the apps.
example like Facebook, the FB app is only 14MB, but my data size is more than 1.4GB.
beside deleting the app & reinstalling, is there any way to reset this data? ... well - Apple only has a Delete button on that page.
I know deleting & reinstalling will bring the app back to 14MB, & there's no data lost on my FB page.  But this method is not so efficient when there are hundreds of apps' data cache to clear...
anyone has any idea how to clear this data cache for apps?

    hi pvonk,
thanks for the pointer, I've tried that but it didn't clear the App data cache.

  • How to clear app cache on itouch (3.1.3 iOS)

can someone help with directions on how to clear app cache in 3.1.3?  btw...i don't want to reset since it will result in lost apps that no longer offer versions for 3.1.3

All you can do is reset the iPod. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
For the old-app problem. Delete any newer apps from your iTunes library. Then transfer iTunes purchases to the computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
Just make sure that you do not update those apps in your iTunes library.

  • Clear App's data

    Hi All,
is it possible to clear or delate app's document and data without delete the app?
Software usage at general setting will show how much space is occupy by the app, but it dint provide the ways for us to clear it!
    Thank you!

You can delete many files on the iPad without deleting the app itself.
For instance, I use Pages on the iPad. From the thumbnail document view in Pages, I can select any document that I want to remove from the iPad and delete it. But if I delete the file from the iPad - and I do not have a copy of the document on my computer other than in iTunes - I will lose that document forever. If you sync with iCloud - when you delete files on one device - you delete it on all devices. The document is gone for good.
Your app data takes up very little storage space on the iPad. The app itself takes up more space than the files in many instances. Songs and photos take up much more space in comparison. Is there a reason why you want to delete the files? If you do want to remove them - transfer the files to your computer in case you need them at a later date.

  • My first generation iPad suddenly stopped opening Safari.  I cleared history, cookies, and cache, and Safari still won't open.  Any suggestions?

When I attempt to open a Safari window on my first-generation iPad, it opens to a blank screen.  I can see the web address bar and the search box, but the rest of the page is white.  I cleared cookies, history, and cache, but still nothing happens.  The iPad is 3G, and I have tried to open Safari using both 3G and my home WiFi.  My wife has an iPad 3 WiFi, and hers opens without issue.  Any suggestions on what I might do?  Thanks!

    1. Double-click the Home button to close all Inactive Apps in Task Bar
    2. Hold the Apps in Task Bar down for a second or two until you see the minus sign
    3. Tap the minus sign to close Apps
    4. Tap center of screen to return to Home Screen
    5. Reset iPad. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider

  • Transfer app data from one laptop to another?

Not quite sure if this is the right place for this question but I'll give it a shot...
I've recently got a new laptop and haven't yet plugged my iPod into it yet as I'm wary about losing all my app data. I've tried searching the internet but I haven't really found anything that helps.
So my question - if you transfer apps and stuff from one laptop to another will all the data stay with it (over home sharing or external harddrive) or will it clear all the data once I connect my ipod? Is it even possible to keep the app data?
Please help, I'm desperate to put more music on my iPod and can't use my old laptop to do it as I can't install the latest iTunes due to lack of memory.
    Thank you

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
If you follow the method of copying the entire iTunes folder from the old to new computer here, you shouldn't have any problems.

  • I want to free up pc disk space. Can i delete app data/files from my pc now I use iCloud??

    Hi
I have not been able to find a relevant thread, if there is one please direct me.
Sorry if my use of jargon/process is not that clear.
    I am using iCloud.
Can I, and how do I, delete app data from my laptop and keep all apps running normally and still on my ipad and ipod as they currently are?
My computer is overflowing and I see iCloud as a chance to clear some hard disk space.
If i delete the apps from my itunes browser on PC then it deletes them from my entire Itunes account. Can I just go into my itunes folder and delete the base application files?
If I remove files/apps and I sync my devices using my pc for music/video/photos etc then will it pick up that the apps and app data is missing from my pc?
    Thanks in advance
    lach

Im trying to get an answer to this same question. My poor pc is almost out of hard drive space bc of all the iphone backups pre icloud. I want to know if I go into the itunes file on my pc and delete all those files will they still be safe considering they are on icloud now? Its frustrating bc I cant seem to get an answer to this question. Have you come across any information on this issue since posting this question? Thanks so much!

  • How to clear apps from notification center?

Is there a way to reset/clear apps from notification center? My facebook notification ain't working and i want to reset notification center.

    Yes, it does.
Tips for clearing that unread message... try them in order.
If you have a rogue New Message icon on your Homescreen, or a negative count (-1), any one of these solutions could clear it, or reset it to zero:
    Try these options:
    * Hard Reset the BlackBerry by holding ALT, CAP (right Shift key), and DEL (or with the BlackBerry powered ON, remove the battery and reinserting the battery)
    * View Messages > Saved Messages
    * View Messages > View Folders, check each folder (missed calls, SMS in and out boxes, MMS in and out boxes, Saved, browser, phone logs etc)
    * Scroll to top of message folder, over the date heading, click or press menu to MARK PRIOR OPEN
    * Change your theme and see if it persists, and change back to your desired theme. (Options > Theme > select.)
    * Wipe and reload your OS.

  • Any way to clear application data in b2g/Firefox OS?

Is there any way to clear application data without uninstalling the whole app?
Say an app signs someone into Google, there is no way to clear that account data without directing them to a Google logout page. It would be nice to just be able to clear all the login/cookie data that gets stored in the app. This is useful with OAuth - the tokens can be cleared but the Google account can't be logged off (easily).

There doesn't seen to be a way to clear data at this moment for apps, you can have a look into app permissions or try deleting the app and reinstalling.

I keep getting the "Something went wrong" message on my Droid Razr HD also. I looked in my Settings, and I don't have a Cloud app - I have a Cloud Print app with nothing cached.  This is making it nearly impossible to use the phone - please help!  So far, this website has only made things more difficult.

The details you're providing are very helpful, Maj_Dad. With airplane mode enabled,
there would be no message because that disables celluar data. I would recommend
tying that mode with WiFi to see if it still happens. It sounds like this issue
has something to do with one of the applications on the device.

  • How do I clear Navigation bar? Under Tools "clear private date" does not bring up a dialog box.

I'm trying to clear the navigation bar. Where I type in the web address "www.somethingsomething.com"... The list under there is too long. Using the Tools pull down menu and selecting "clear private data" does nothing. No box pops up. Under options, I've done everything to clear out the history. Everything remains. Any help? Thanks.

Ok, I put a check in the box "Ask me before clearing private data"... now a box does pop up... Items checked are "browsing history, cache cookies, offline website data and authenticated sessions". Item not checked "saved passwords". Items listed but in light gray and unable to put a check "download history, saved form & search history." I hit the "clear private data now" option, nothing happens, except that box goes away. I click on the little down arrow on the navigation bar, and all the things are still there. I'm beyond dumbfounded why! Help please. Thank you.

my safari screen is greyed out, I checked and found a response to this question.  I went to settings and cleared history, cookies, and cache, java script is on and I restarted, screen is still grey, cant touch it to do a thing.  Help!

That is usually the fix but try this now.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. See if that helps.
You can also try this - quit Safari. From the home screen - Double tap the home button and your recent apps appear the bottom. Tap and hold down on the Safari icon until it wiggles. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the app. Tap the home button twice. Restart the iPad.

  • Phone won't see media files after clearing the data for SomcPhotoAnalyzer.apk

Hello,My sister accidentally cleared the data for the PhotoAnalyzerService app (com.sonymobile.photoanalyzer 5.5.A.0.10) in the app manager on her Z2. That caused the Album app to disappear from the app drawr. Since then, she updated Album (com.sonyericsson.album) from the Play Store, and that caused the Album  icon to reappear in the app drawr. However, something is wrong with how media is handled by the phone now: Album now behaves like this:In Home: all photos inside the DCIM folder, BUT photos that were downloaded to the phone are missin. In Camera: only camera photos taken after the data was cleared. In Folders: shows nothing. When trying to edit an older camera photo it says "no application available."Additionally, all ringtones were rest to default, and selecting new ones is now impossible, either with Sound Picker or with ES File Explorer. Restarting the phone many times didn't help. The phone is running android 4.4.2 (Build 17.1.2.A.0.314). Any advice? Will a factory reset help? Anything other than a factory reset? (she won't be happy to lose everything on the phone...)  Edit: to be clear, the files that are missing from Album are still on the phone, and can be viewed with ES File Explorer, for example.

You could try an app preferences reset Settings tap the 3 dots or options icon then Reset app preferences and then reboot and test - As for apps missing then try Settings then Apps then swipe to disabled to see if the app in question is there however if files are missing it could be that all data for that app was erased at the same time
