Clear for Mac iCloud Error

Hi,
I'm trying to setup Clear for Mac app on my Macbook Pro, but when I try to enable the iCloud syncing it said:
"iCloud Error"
"iCloud could not be enabled as you have not configured an iCloud account or have disabled iCloud Documents & Data."
I of course, already configured an iCloud account and enabled iCloud Documents & Data, but it still doesn't working...
Any solutions?

I had the same problem and found the soultion:
Check Apple’s iCloud System Status page.
Ensure you are logged into iCloud and using the same account on all devices. You can do this in the following places:
OS X: System Preferences → iCloud
iOS: Settings → iCloud
Ensure that iCloud Documents & Data is enabled - THIS IS THE SOLUTION, you have to select "Documents & Data"

Mail will not print, pages will not print . . . pages / mail quits unexpectedly while using the BJPDELocalizedString2 plugin. Tryed in Word for Mac. . .Error message; no pages found / filename This all happened when I unstalled brother P-touch.

Restart the computer in safe mode. Certain caches maintained by the system will be rebuilt.
Safe mode is much slower to start up than normal. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
When the login screen appears, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and test. There's no need to log in while in safe mode.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t start in safe mode. In that case, ask for instructions.

Why does word for mac 2011 error

When I am using the word for mac that came installed on my Mac Book Pro, it frequently errors and has to close and I loose my work. Even though I choose the option to send the report and recover my work, i have lost many things.
Why does this happen?

Pls specify exactly what app and what version you are talking about. If it is really MS Word, then it's possible it wasn't correctly installed. You should re-install MS Office, and then update it, if applicable.

Office for mac - Word error message "insufficient memory"??

I'm not sure if I'm in the right help section, so apologies of not and point me in the right direction?
My problem: I copied about 2 pages of text in a Microsoft Word (for mac) document, opened a blank document, and attempted to paste the text there. The text transferred, but when I attempted to save the document Microsoft closed, without saving, and offered to send an error report.
Alternately, I copied the text, closed Word, re-opened it to a blank document, and again attempted pasting the text. This time, an error message pops up that says "Insufficient memory. Save document now." after which it will let me save the document, but won't let me paste anything. So confused.

(I also emptied my trash, just to free up some space and see if that helped, but even though its been ages since I've done it it didn't seem to make a difference.)

Choose "Check for updates" in the an Office program's Help menu.
Just to check if it worked, I opened the original document and selected Save As, and it allowed me to save it under a different name and re-open the doc, and then edit and save it - so I can go ahead with my work, but it would still be good to resolve the issue.
Hopefully just updating will take care of it. Just remember than an "insufficient memory" error never means insufficient memory. It means the program is buggy. While very powerful, Office is somewhat on the buggy side. It is updated pretty frequently however.
If you continue to have problems, there may be some specific issue that is causing your problem and can be fixed. The best place to investigate that would probably be Microsoft's own support forums.

Outlook 2011 for mac iCloud issues

I have been using entorage and outlook for years now that i upgraded to Icloud no email or configuration will work.
I dont care for the mail app i have all my mail in outlook. tried all posted settings still does not work.
I wish i could roll back to me.com anyone able to get settings to work in outlook 2011.

I setup Outlook 2011 for Mac using the following, and had no problems at all sending or receiving email. See below:
IMAP (Incoming Mail Server) information:
Server name: imap.mail.me.com
SSL Required: Yes
Port: 993
Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
Password: Your iCloud password
SMTP (outgoing mail server) information:
Server name: smtp.mail.me.com
SSL Required: Yes
Port: 587
SMTP Authentication Required: Yes
Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
Password: Your iCloud password
Additional Information
SSL is required for both IMAP and SMTP connection with iCloud. POP is not supported by iCloud.

PSE 8 for Mac - Program Error - how can I save?

I'm using PSE8 for Mac on an Intel MacBook with 4Gb or RAM, running Snow Leopard 10.6.2. When I'm editing JPEGs, usually all goes well; but sometimes I find I can't save a file I've edited, and I get a dialog box saying: "Could not complete your request because of a program error". After this appears, no form of saving works - not switching to a different format (such a PNG), not 'Save As...' to a different location, nothing. I just have to abandon the file. This happens pretty frequently and it's very frustrating. Can anyone suggest a workaround, and does anyone know if Adobe are aware of the problem. The error message seems pretty generic, BTW. Is there any way of knowing what has really gone wrong?

I'm running CS4 and do most of my work in Photoshop Extended, but I also have PSE 8 on my MacBook and I have an identical setup (2.26 Core Duo 4Gb RAM). Mine works OK though.
One thing I have learned in the last two years is that the generic program error usually refers to an outdated plugin or preset.
I have about 900 brushes, and another 500 custom shapes. I'm still going through the list to find the ones that are incompatible. When I try to load some of them I get the generic program error message. I have also had trouble with some older Alien Skin filters that will apply to a working file, but give me the same error when I try to save. Just a program error, no specifics, and then I have to colse the app, and reopen it to get back to work, losing all progress when I do.
As far as the uninstall, it sounds like you didn't get it completely uninstalled. If you're not too comfortable digging around in the library and application support and preferences files, try something like AppZapper or AppDelete which not only remove the app, but all related files too. The you can do a clean install and try it again.

Trying to sync Sharepoint calendar w/ Outlook for mac; Protocol Error; Used about:config and get same error.

I'm trying to sync a Sharepoint calendar with Outlook on my mac. When I click on "Connect to Client", I get this error:
Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (stssync) isn't associated with any program.
I used the about:config instructions to create a new string:
* Type about:config into the address bar and press Enter.
* Right-click -> New -> Boolean -> Name: network.protocol-handler.external.foo -> Value -> true (Replacing foo with the protocol you're specifying)
* Right-click -> New -> String -> Name: network.protocol-handler.app.foo -> Value -> /path/to/app (Replacing foo with the protocol you're specifying and /path/to/app with the path to the application you want to run.
* Ensure network.protocol-handler.expose-all is set to true.
The path I used (which opens Outlook if I click on the icon) is:
/Applications/Microsoft Office 2011/Microsoft Outlook.app
I'm still getting the same error message.
Please help me to allow Firefox to open stssync pages so that I can sync my calendars.

I KEEP GETTING AN ERROR CODE 17900 (INCORRECT USERNAME OR PASSWORD) WHEN RETRIEVING MAIL USING OUTLOOK FOR MAC 2011. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE ADVISE?

It is a pop account through btinternet.com. We have several email pop accounts, the others are fine. The username and password are both correct, but not accepted for the default pop account and continues to ask for the same information.

Outlook for Mac 2011 error: "Sync Services has encountered a problem and needs to close"

I keep getting the Syce services error. I did find

Outlook for MAC cache error

I have a reoccurring cache error when using Outlook 2011 version 14.2.3 on my MacBook Pro.
I have the same account synced with both my iMac's & I dont have the same cache errors. When Outlook is downinging emails on my MBP it takes a long time & slows everything else down "Spinning Pizza" often appears for long periods.
And then quite often I get an error "x" in the bottom right hand corner of outlook, which when I click on it opens up a box "Could not synchronize record......" I delete the error but either they reoccur or a new message appears.
Any ideas on how I can stop this & more importantly get my Outlook running smooth & with out errors??

Email settings for mac iCloud

Using "other" in email account manager
Specifically SMTP server and SMTP Port
Tried most settings but no luck.
Works from within LR4 (via apple mail default) and then I can send. ie 2 steps.
Did manage to validate using my me.com account details but then returned an error message.

The mystery continues as although the validation is accepted,
and from within LR4 Beta the message "email sent " is displayed,
it never arrives.
I will continue to tinker. From within "apple mail" all remains well and fast.
I guess when you send stuff via the cloud you must have to wait till it rains to get it back.

CS5 for Mac Plugin error

Received a document and got the following error message: Please upgrade your plug-ins to their latest versions. The Plugins listed show up in Extension Manager but are locked.
How do I upgrade the plugins as requested?

That’s what I thought but it shows up in its folder as a CS5 files. Do CS5.5 files identify themselves as CS5 or CS5.5?

Photoshop Elements 11 for MAC Installation Errors

Why do I receive the error message “inconsistency in the installer database. Please restart your computer and install again”.? I have restarted my computer several times and have re-downloaded the software several times but always end us with the same error message at the final stage of installation. What can I do to correct this? OS Mountain Lion 10.8.2

if you have no other cs6 programs installed, run the cleaner to remove your installer database: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
then try re-installing.
