Clear Keyword from HUD?

It seems that if I use the Keyword list in the HUD, it remembers the keywords checked. Then when I return to use the checklist again, I have to search through to ensure I've unchecked all the old keywords.
I'm sure I'm missing something being new to the program, but isn't there a way to clear all check marked keywords in the HUD?

Still trying to figure this one out and note that it is actually the keyword section of the Query HUD where this check box issue occurs. Can't find anything to answer my question in the manual or in the McMahon-Rawlinson Aperture 2 book. The latter cautions to "be sure to clear any checked keywords" before starting a new search, but doesn't hint at how that might be done other than visually searching the list and unchecking keywords.
How about this: Can anyone point me to a way to contact someone who can answer my technical question from Aperture? Doesn't seem like there is a tech support site for the program other than this forum. Alternatively, anyone know of another good site dedicated to Aperture where I might be able to get some help on this issue?

Need a Way to Clear Keywords from Query HUD

I like using the Query HUD to select a variety of criteria (show me images in this import session with three or more stars keyworded "times square").
But if I select a large project, there might be hundreds of keywords. (In my 2009 project alone, I have over 200 keywords so far.)
Problem: if I have several hundred keywords, I can't tell if any of them are checked. The only way is to slowly scroll through the entire list looking for the checked boxes. And the only way to uncheck a keyword is to find it and manually uncheck it.
The keywords section needs a "clear" button.
I find this frustrating several times a week.
(Another problem is that the dialog box is not expandable -- I can only see about 50 keywords at a time.)

Dragging keywords from HUD to group of selected images suddenly not working.

Have used this method for a long time but tonight it is not working? Only drops keyword on a single image even though multiple images are selected. Any ideas?

You may have the "Primary only" flag selected, see this user tip:

Removing prev added keywords from main Query HUD

Can anybody help with this ....
I've been keywording a back-catalogue in Aperture over the last 2-3 days, mostly with a dedicated keywords I've prepared in the Keyword HUD, but also some misc ones. I can see that every keyword I've used to-date is logged in the Keyword section of the main library Query HUD, and it's packed with them.
Does anybody know how I can selectively remove applied keywords from the Query HUD list (not the Keyword HUD)?
(Hope that makes sense!!)

I see this as a bug and I've reported it as such.
If you start a Query HUD from a folder or project and then look at the keywords, it only shows keywords that exist among pictures within that folder or project.
If you start a Query HUD from "Library", however, it shows every single keyword ever entered, even if you are no longer using the keyword. This clutters up the HUD big time.

Aperture Keywords From iPhoto

1) I have imported my iPhoto Library
2) I realize that iPhoto keywords are distinct from apeture keywords and I need to select photos by keywords.
a) I have selected the old iphoto keyword via the smart setting library. The old photos appear. I then add new aperture keyword. (ie Sally Smith). This is easy.
b) Then I delete the old iPhoto keyword via the most annoying thing of creating the keyword (see previous posts). Then shift enter the keyword away (see previous posts).
c) HERE IS THE QUESTION. But it remains in the "not so" smart keyword library. Now I will have twice the number of keywords and have to remember which are old dead iPhoto keywords. I tried the plist trick (no luck). What do i do? Stay with iPhoto. This kind of *****.

I suspect that Aperture writes the keywords to the images or their version copies. to get rid of the old iPhoto keywords, make sure that they're no longer in the Keyword HUD and then rebuild the Aperture database. this will probably remove unused keywords from the filter list.
while launching Aperture, press and hold option-command.

Removing keywords from multiple images when the keyword isn't in the list?

So, I know that the method for removing a keyword from multiple images is to select the images, type the keyword in the inspector and press Shift-Return.
However, that doesn't seem to work if the keyword I want to remove is not in the keyword database (i.e. it's not in the keyword HUD).
For example, I deleted the iPhoto keyword group from the keyword HUD because I decided I didn't like that. I've got a bunch of photos that still have keywords like "Beach (iPhoto)". Typing "Beach" Shift-Return does nothing. Typing "Beach (iPhoto)" Shift-Return does nothing.
Adding an iPhoto group back to the HUD and a child keyword of Beach and then Typing "Beach" Shift-Return works, but I can't believe that's how it's supposed to work.
Is that the only way to do this? I've got a lot of those old iPhoto keywords to remove and that's going to be a major pain... there must be a better way.

Delete A Keyword From All Images

After importing an 18K+ iPhoto Library into Aperture, I now have the Keyword iPhoto Original on all the images.
How do I remove that Keyword from all the images?
Do I simply delete that particular Keyword?

If you don;t want the keyword at all anymore open the Keyword HUD and delete it there. You'll get a confirmation window telling you the keyword is applied do you really want to delete it from the images (or something like that).

Remove Keyword from Filter dialog box help

When I imported my iPhoto library of about 5,000 photos Aperture created two keyword filters (visible when I open the FILTER dialog box and select "All Images" under the main Project Library. It created "iPhoto Edited" and "iPhoto Original" keywords. each of my imported iphoto photos had one of the keywords attached to them. I found originally that filtering through all images took forever - so I removed these two keywords from all of the imported iPhoto files.
Question: how do I remove these two keywords from the FILTER dialog box? Note that these two keywords do not appear in the Keyword HUD at any time.

Resetting a clearing document from a previous financial year - Vendor Payment

Finance team needs to reset a cleared item from a previous financial year. The cheque was
never presented. They are unable to create a new invoice to pay the vendor without this cheque going
through and being processed.
However, when using transaction code FBRA they receive an error message
"clearing document from alternative fiscal year-. Message no F5A258".

There are two option
1. You Open the Close Period, or change the reversal code, which can allow alternative posting in the current period.
2. Go to the IMG - Controling - General Controlling - Change Message control. Give the message application area and then the number and turn it off. (Tcode : OBA5)

How do I transfer the keywords from one computer with photoshop cs6 to another computer with photoshop cs6.

I believe you can do it via Bridge CS or CC. From the Keywords Panel menu, choose Export, then Import on Bridge's Keyword panel in the target computer.
Back-ups Bridge CS6 - Collections, keywords etc.
Photoshop would then pick up on it.

Have you tried a reset to see if it resumes after the iPad has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Easy way to remove a keyword from select images

Is there an easy way to remove a keyword?
I want to remove a single keyword from nearly 100 images that have multiple keywords. The single keyword I want to remove exists in other images that I don't want it removed from.

Well, most of what we can tell you is already stated in the message you are getting. A phone can only sync with one library at a time. You have apparently synced your phone with a different iTunes library in the past, or changes have been made to this library so the phone no longer recognizes it as the library with which it was synced. To know which you will have to provide the information.
If you bought them using the AppleID you use with this phone it may simply be easier to re-download them directly to the phone rather than sync them, though you will want to resolve that issue at some point.
