Clear or anti glare screen for iphone5s

Which screen protector is better? Clear or anti glare?

Have you looked at the Moshi Screen Protector?
Its removable, can be washed, no-bubbles, and it doesn't have any glare at all. Its got a matte-finish.
I love the concept of this screen protector, but I found the screen to be a bit fuzzy. Definently worth trying out though.

will there be an anti-glare screen for the new MacBook Pro?

    Hi j,
Apple rarely announces upcoming hardware upgrades, so we'll probably just have to wait and see if that's something that happens in the future with the retina line. In the meantime, you can express your desire for one here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/

  • Removeable Anti-Glare screen for new iPad?

To clarify, I am looking for something that is meant to be taken off and on. For those infrequent ocassions when I'm outside or in a very high light environment and want to read.  I do not want something that applies like a screen protector. I already have a clear screen protector.  What I have in mind would be a snapon plastic overlay that can be removed and stored in a briefcase.  I've seen some that stick on the border, but they have to be washed before reuse, whereas I'd rather go outside, pull the anti-glare overlay out of my briefcase or backpack, use a spritz of screen cleaner and a cloth, and snap it on.
I realize a rigid plastic overlay would affect touch responsiveness significantly, but as long as I could turn a page in iBooks, I'd be alright.  Basically, I'm trying to make my Kindle obsolete.
Does such a thing exist on the market?

  • Is there a genuine IPad anti glare screen to reduce the reflection/mirror effect when using outdoors?

The reflection in the IPad 4th generation retina screen when using outdoors or in bright light is very distracting. You look at yourself! Especially if using the pad on your knees.
I have fitted the excellent Moshi clear protection screen, but this does not reduce the reflection. Amazon sell an anti glare screen for the IPad 2. Anyone found one that really works, or is this something we must put up with.

Linehill again.  It seems that many users find the same problem, but no one has the answer! I have been experimenting with some ideas and have found wearing a black or very dark shirt makes a huge improvement if you are sitting down and hold the IPad on your thighs. Try it!

  • Anti-Glare Screen advice

I need an anti-glare screen for my Ipad2.
I am looking at the Power Support AG, the Moshi AG iVisor, and the Splash Masque AG protector.
I am most interested in two features: (1) how well the anti-glare works in the sun and (2) no loss of screen quality (screen not grainy or blurry) with the AG screen.
Any suggestions/comments about these AG screen protectors in relation to these two characteristics is very much appreciated.
    Thanks!

I have tried a lot of these and have had no luck. They hardly ever worked for me, especially in the sun. I wouldn't recommend one.

  • Anyone using an anti-glare screen cover for Macbook?

I plan on buying a Macbook and would like to use an anti-glare screen. Any recommendations?

If you plan to use it in public areas, consider the 3M privacy filters, they have matte/shiny sides so you can use whichever you prefer.

  • Anti-glare Screen Protector for iPhone 5

I really like the feeling and the performance of anti-glare screen protector, any recommendation for it? As far as I know, Sir Lancelot's Armor, Green Onion and power support(not released yet) are the best in my opinion.

I can't imagine that they would take it.
Ask them tomorrow, but I cannot see a reason why they would take a return on a used product

  • Anti-Glare Film for Glass Screen

I want to get a new 15" MBP but I'll have to get a glass screen because I don't want hi-rez.
Has anyone found a good anti-glare film for glass screens that works well?
Anyone think that apple may offer regular rez w anti-glare?

    revDAVE,
I installed one of these and I love it. In fact, I just ordered a high-res UMPB with the glossy screen because I can add a matte film to it if I want, but I can't remove the matte finish from Apple's offering if I don't like it.
Just take your time with the installation to avoid any air bubbles.
    eww,
I have no commercial interest in the supplier of this product and will not gain anything through this recommendation except the satisfaction of being helpful.

I've bought from them several times for various cell phones and my new Blackberry. They sell them in sets of 3 for about $6.50 for the set. You can also look on ebay for these things.
Good luck and if anybody orders from here, please post so others will know the results.
I'm having trouble looking for them on ebay. I don't what to search for. I kept typing in anti-glare protectors for mp3 players, but there no results.

  • Belkin Anti-glare screen overlay to eliminate Lifeproof oil streaks?

I just purchased an Lifeproof case for my iPhone 5s, and there are noticeable "oil streaks" between the phone's screen and the Lifeproof's clear case.  Will the Belkin Anti-Glare screen overlay (or any other overlay) eliminate these oil streaks?

  • INaviX marine navigation on ipad2.  Need some sort of anti-glare screen

I am running iNaviX marine navigation software on my iPad2.  I can't see the charts due to the glare.  Does someone have an anti-glare screen that will allow me to see the screen?

There are many anti-glare screen products available, ranging from "pricey" US$30 or more to "inexpensive" under US$10.
If you're in a hurry, major electronics chains and Apple Stores usually have the pricey ones in stock. I found a high quality anti-glare screen online from www.handhelditems.com for well under $10. In two months of moderate daily use, it is not wearing or coming loose.  But I'm not in a marine environment.
HHI offers several kinds, sold singly and in multiples.  Search for "HHI Crystal Clear Screen Protector For iPad 2 and iPad 1"
This is the one I purchased: http://www.handhelditems.com/ipad-antifingerprint-antiglare-matte-finishing-scre en-protector-free-handhelditems-stylus-p-161160.html
Since you are in a marine environment, I suggest that you investigate whether accident protection insurance coverage would be worthwhile. If it's personal use, you might be able to add coverage via homeowners insurance.

  • Where can I find a 17" desktop anti-glare filter for my iMac?

I checked a couple of sites that sell anti-glare filters. I'm trying to find one to fit my widescreen 17" iMac, however, both sites charged exorbitant prices, one $80, another $100. I remember ten years ago I was able to buy an anti-glare filter for my old Windows PC, but for some reason, neither the Apple Store, nor Best Buy sell them today. I need one because for the second time in two years, I had to get new glasses as the glare from my iMac is hurting my eyesight.

As I said, I don't think the result from putting a filter over the glass will be satisfactory, regardless of cost.
You may want to find an external matte screen digital (DVI) LCD that you find comfortable to look at, and connect it to your iMac as a second display. Then set System Preferences Displays pane so that it is your primary display (with the menu bar and dock on it). Put that display in front of you, with the iMac off the right as the secondary display. You can still use it (as you desktop extension); hopefully the "glare" will be less of a problem if you are not staring at it constantly. You can go up to 1920x1200 resolution for an external digital display, which is a typical 23 or 24-inch (measured diagonally) widescreen LCD display. I use my iMac that way, with an external display (that I really like) as my primary display and the iMac to the right as the secondary display. Note: It's to the right because putting it to the left blocks the optical drive.
Alternately, if the iMac is in good shape, you can sell it and put the proceeds toward a new Mac mini, and get a display that is comfortable for you.

  • NEW Macbook Pro anti-glare screen choice

    Hi,
I did not see the NEW Macbook Pro anti-glare screen choice.
Did Apple Stop offering the anti-glare screen option on the NEW 2013 Laptops?

If you look at the specifications for the 15" non-retina MBPs, you will note that anti-glare option is available.
    Ciao.

  • Anti-glare film for 27" display

    Folks,
Do you know of any decent anti-glare film for the new 27" Apple Cinema Display? I got a this new monitor 2 days ago and I am starting to get headaches because of the glare... no matter how/where I position the screen in my office.
I really wish Apple would give a choice between glossy vs matte. That's future (hopefully), but for now I have to figure out a way to work with this 'shiny' new display

There's a anti glare film out here: http://www.radtech.us/Products/ClearCal-Displays.aspx
Still, I don't understand why Apple doesn't produce an 27" antiglare screen as optioned with the MBP...
I will buy the product above and let you know the results.
