Clear Signature "greyed out" for signer of Adobe form.

A user who signed a form that I created using Adobe Pro is unable to clear the signature. When she right clicks, 'Clear Signature" is not appearing in the popup that should appear when right clicked. She is the signer of the form, so I am perplexed by whey the signature cannot be cleared. We need to clear it, so the data on it can be updated, and the form can be re-signed. Can anyone tell me what the causes may be for the "Clear Signature" selection (when right clicking the signature box) to NOT be enabled for a signer and how I might fix this problem? This is form that users need to be able to update and resign each month.

I am not certain, as I am not very familiar with digital signatures and certificates. She mentioned that (in addition to not seeing "clear signature"), she sees a message about unknown validity. What should I tell her to do to open a digital signature certificate or how can she do this? Thank you for your assistance, by the way.

2 things:
1. Assuming your script is original - it is not asking for a TXT file till it is found in expected location. You can choose between 2 solutions:
to remove FindChangeList.txt from FindChangeSupport folder ==> script will ask for another file
to override this file by your query ==> script will not ask but execute your query
2. You can see greyed TXT files in Script Panel since this panel shows executable files (script's formats)

It can be accessed through Preview in Yosemite also. You can go to Tools -> Annotate -> Signature -> Manage Signature, to create new signature or edit the existing one.

If you are looking at the front page of the App Store and you are seeing the "downloading" message on the right under Quick Links.
Try this... Go into the "Purchases" section in the top bar of the App Store find ML in the list you are presented with. Does it say Resume? If so click the button and it will change to Pause. You may have paused it previously and forgot.
If not then do as Csound1 suggested and simply wait for it to finish

Form routine for sales order adobe forms

Hi Friends,
I have a requirement to create z adobe forms for sales order for customized output type.
When i checked, there is no form routine designed for calling the adobe forms.
So, i am planning to copy the standard print program which is available for script and smartforms and creating a z form routine to include the function modules for calling the adobe form.
Can any one please let me know whether have you worked in any of the same kind of situations and my apporach is ok or anything else can be done.

Plz check your caller program for the same and just find out the output type. for that purpose use the Tcode: NACE for finding the output type than proceed accordingly.

Signature greyed out, Singing not alllowed

I am trying to add a signature to a PDF document but the whole I Need To Sign section has been greyed out.
When I checked the security properties, it says that signing is not allowed. How do I change this??
I am using adobe reader XI on windows 8.1 64 bit. I have tried the same document on three different laptops and I keep getting the same issue! When I try to sign other documents, it works just fine.
Any ideas?

If I were to guess, I would say they do not want you to use a digital signature. They want you to print it, sign it and mail it back. I only say that because they went through the trouble of adding all of those form fields but they didn't add a signature field. I can only assume that is intentional.

Acrobat 9 Properties bar greyed out for highlighting

I have posted on this issue last year, and also wrote to one of the admins -- all without any solutions, and the problem remains as bad as ever. I imagine there are a lot of other people running into this.
Acrobat 9 Properties bar greyed out (or disappears entirely) when text selected: it happens to me CONSTANTLY, using both Acrobat 8 Pro & Acrobat 9 Pro, all fully updated. Tech support is useless and refuses to acknowledge or solve this extremely annoying problem.
I need to highlight text (using different opacities of highlighting) in a variety of PDFs: scanned-ClearScan OCR, ebooks, downloaded journal articles, etc. None of them are "restricted" in any way for security, commenting, etc.
Within a few minutes of editing, when I go to highlight some text or change opacity, one of two things will happen spontaneously.
1) Properties bar disappears entirely when text selected (erroneously changes to "No current selection")
or
2) Properties bar suddenly greyed out when text selected
It is absolutely inconceivable that Adobe is unaware of this absurd defect -- and is unwilling or unable to fix such a simple functionality so that it works consistently and correctly!
And no, this is not a matter of "turning on/off" the bar using <cntrl-E> -- that's irrelevant to this defect.
And furthermore, commenting text formatting changes are not retained when set as new default (e.g., opacity of highlighting changes randomly from 20% > 60%, etc.)
And I don't want to reset all toolbars, because I have them customized just-so.
Can someone with more expertise PLEASE, PLEASE explain this problem or suggest a fix?

Assumptions for this test:
1. Acrobat has been configured so that the "Text Box Tool" (part of the "Comment & Markup Toolbar") is visible on the toolbar.
(Tools --> Customize Toolbars... may need to be used to se this up)
2. The "Properties Bar" is visible (a Ctrl-E should bring it up if it is not already so)
If you had to make changes to get this configuration set, close all Acrobat windows before proceeding so that the settings will be remembered and used when new windows are open.
******BUG******
Text box TEXT PROPERTIES only accessible in most recent file opened.
Steps to reproduce bug:
1. Open a 1st PDF
2. Open a 2nd different PDF
3. Arrange so both are visible.
4. in the 1st PDF create a text box and notice how the window for the 2nd PDF gets the TEXT BOX PROPERTIES BAR
5. notice how there is no way to change the text box properties in the first window.
Results: Text box properties can only be changed in the most recently opened window.
Expected results: Text box properties should work for all windows!
Note that no properties (color, fill, font, ...) of any object (line, rectangle, callout, ...) can be changed using the Properties Bar if the properties bar is not part of the last window opened.
The only kludgy workaround I've found is that if I need a working properties bar in a particular window I can:
1) save the file to capture any outstanding changes that might not have been captured (this is an optional step)
2) make a throw-away minor change to the file (I usually draw a short line segment)
3) Go to File --> Revert (& Confirm)
The file will close and reopen without the throw-away change and it will now be the last file opened so it will now have a working properties bar.
Go here and report it and perhaps if they hear from enough of us they will take the time to do something about it.

Auto clear cookies greyed out

Under tools, options, privacy, I changed the history to use custom settings, but the option to clear cookies when Firefox closes is greyed out and not usable.

Your System Details list shows that you run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode and thus all cookies automatically expire when you close Firefox.

Signature greyed out in desktop manager.

We use a BES server and are finding that when users use the desktop software the ability to change the signature is greyed out.Would it be due to either of these policy settings -
Desktop addins is set to false.
Application loader and weblink is set to false.
If its neither of these, any idea what would cause it to be greyed out ?

Hi There!
Well, my first thought is why use the DM software at all under BES? All of the configuration items are available on the device directly and, I think, can also be set via BES policy. I am on BES and never use the desktop client at all -- unless I am contemplating an OS update and want to ensure I have a good backup beforehand. But, to manage my BES conduit, I never use the desktop software.
So, in answer to your question...are those same options greyed out in the device interface? If so, then perhaps it is indeed a policy issue...we'll have to let our BES experts chime in on that one...

Publish Button Greyed out for Standalone Option

I'm using Captivate 3.0 for my project. I'm attempting to
publish my project using the Standalone feature. Unfortunately, the
Publish button is Greyed out. It doesn't matter what the file name
is, where I'm saving it, what's checked or unchecked...the button
is just greyed out the whole time.
How can I enable the Publish button through the Standalone
feature?

Have any of you tried upgrading the Flash Player version on
your PC? I notice from the screen capture, that Flash Player 6 is
selected, but disabled. Normally Captivate 3 only offers versions
7, 8 and 9 as an option. At first, I saw version 6 listed here and
thought that perhaps Captivate 2 was being used, as it was the last
version that offered the ability to publish in Flash Player 6
format. But I then noticed that the File Type of Windows Executable
wasn't selectable as well as the dialog showing Adobe Connect.
These are indicators you are using Captivate 3.
So the only thing that seems to make sense is that perhaps
you have Flash Player 6 on your PC and need to upgrade it.
This

your version in use should be reported and you will have the
ability to install a newer version.

Hi i have a problem with the app store and that problem is i go to update my apps and it has a user id that it wont let me change to the one i normally use(the ones thats there is greyed out and i cant change it) ,i have had no problem with this prior whether its updating or downloading new apps.i would like to fix this issue to i can add some updates.thanks for your time and have a great day.(i can still install apps amd sign in normally with the exception of updateing the osx apps)

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store alert. For example, the App Store may prompt you to update "Angry Birds" or "Twitter," but the hacked app may be something else entirely. Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you must carry out a systematic search with Spotlight.

Select option greyed out for fields of custom DataSource (rso2, rsa6)

Why are several fields, in my custom DataSource (created in rso2) not available for select?
I do not think this is a permission issue, since several fields are selectable, but not all fields.
It is not the data type, since I see other custom DataSources that have the same data type, and it is selectable as a select option.
This is not a DataSource that was provided by SAP, it is completely custom, and uses a custom data definition (defined as a structure via se11), and a custom function.
I have read the responses to similar questions, but have not found an answer that explains how to make the field selectable for select.
What determines which fields can be selected for selection, and which fields have this option greyed out (not selectable)?
I have come across multiple answers, for similar questions, that suggest an abap program to directly update table roosfield.
Is this safe?
IF I choose this route will I need to run the update program on production, or will the change it makes to my dataSource transport with my transport?
(I can test this).
What I most need to know is If this suggestion is safe, or if it has side effects?

ITunes 11 - Get Info greyed out for movies on external drive

With iTunes 10, my itunes movies and TV shows grew to about 1.2TB of data, and I shifted them to an external drive.
I was able to edit the information via 'get info' until upgrading to iTunes 11.
Now all the information, bar the 'five stars' field are greyed out. If I shift a particular movie back to the internal drive, I can edit (genre, for example). Shift away again, get info greys out.
Any advice? It feels like iTunes thinks it has the wrong permissions.

When you add a movie to iTunes you have to make sure it makes a copy of the file in the iTunes Media folder. Otherwise, you can't edit any of the information on the movie or video.
In iTunes 12, go to Edit-->Preferences
In Preferences, go to Advanced and make sure the "Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library".
Unfortunately, you will now have to re-import the movie files into iTunes using "Add File To Library..." Once imported, the movie will sometimes appear under "Home Movies" instead of "Movies" but if you right click on the movie file it will list a menu item called "Get Info" where you can change the "Options" to "Movie".

Photoshop CC tools not accessible & drop down menu commands greyed out for no apparent reason.

Hi... I've been having this issue with Photoshop CC recently where in the middle of editing an image file all of a sudden none of the tools work. When looking at the drop down menus most of the commands are greyed out, except for a few. When looking at the image box, the filename at the top is greyed out. I can't even choose to quit photoshop as this option is greyed out. I can do things like toggle through the "Change Screen Mode" (F Key), and when i select a tool it's icon appears on the screen, but I can't apply it. After about 5 minutes it seems to correct itself & I can go on working with the image.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Well, that could indicate a dialog box appearing somewhere in the background or off screen, not even necessarily from PS itself. Also of course check the option for the restore data and incremental saving. Perhaps you are just seeing that...
