Clearing Cashes using Yasu on an iMac G5

I'm having one of those nightmare weekends where everything is going wrong.
Before I use the freeware program YASU on my system, can someone please tell me what happens when I:
'CLEAR SYSTEM CASHE'
'CLEAR USER CASHE'
'CLEAR BROWSERS CASHE'
& 'CLEAR DONWLOAD CASHE'
I have never cleared out cashes before to try and solve a problem on my mac and what to know if this will effect any of my settings like my email or Safari favorites etc.
Any help would be so greatly appreciated.

I have an imac G5 with 2 GB of ram.
Even with widgets turned off and not using the curser, the dock's CPU fluctuates between 0.20 to 9.90% every few seconds. In my Home Library folder if I open the Preferences and look at the the number of items that is listed along the bottom of the open folder the number changes from 282, 283, 284 every few seconds.
A CF#..... numbered file seems to be added every second or so in my Home Preferences folder, then it disapears.
Dragged out the com.apple.dock.plist onto the desktop and log out and then logged back in and that doesn't help either.
I have created a test user account and this problem doesn't happen in that account.
Even with a newly created Prefrences Folder the problem re-occurs.
Ran the Apple Hardware Tes CD several times, all fine.
That's why I thought I'd give YASU a try. What does the 'cron script' action do in Yasu ?

Hi Satish,
Through FBCJ transaction you can do the cash receipt / cash payment to Bank (Bank clearing Account). By using the Business transaction "Receipt from Bank" and "Payment to Bank".
Hence bank posting will happen in the Bank clearing account. As soon as BRS is done, it will hit the Bank Main account.

After clearing cash on mac applications won't lunch any more..I tried to delete apps like VLC player with app cleaner and again download and instal new but it's the same..goes for all apps that are not originally part of Yosemite. Please advise me?!

It sounds like you may have multiple problems, but none of them are likely to be caused by malware.
First, the internet-related issues may be related to adware or a network compromise. I tend to lean more towards the latter, based on your description of the problem. See:

If investigation shows that this is not a network-specific issue, then it's probably adware. See my Adware Removal Guide for help finding and removing it. Note that you mention AdBlock as if it should have prevented this, but it's important to understand that ad blockers do not protect you against adware in any way. Neither would any kind of anti-virus software, which often doesn't detect adware.
As for the other issues, it sounds like you've got some serious corruption. I would be inclined to say it sounds like a failing drive, except it sounds like you just got it replaced. How did you get all your files back after the new drive was installed?

May be this question has been asked thousand times. how do I use my mid 2011 iMac ( with thunderbolt) as external monitor for laptop/Xbox or other device with hdmi as output. if apple hasn't removed that feature and has just moved that functinoality to thunderbolt then how can I use it. currently there is no laptop available with thunderbolt output. no 3rd party converter available. whats the use of having feature on latest functionality if we cant use it. Can i use my 21.5" imac as an external monitor for my macbook pro?

I have a 21.5" iMac (with Intel processor) that I'm trying to use an external monitor for a new Macbook Pro. Both machines have a thunderbolt input. I bought a Belkin mini displayport to mini displayport connector, but my macbook is not displaying on the iMac. I saw videos online showing this done with the 27" iMac, saying you just needed to press Command+F2, but that is not working for me. I can't seem to find any posts confiming if I can use my 21.5" iMac this way though.

Launch Keychain Access and click on Login in the left hand pane and then on Passwords. Next do search for Apple in the search field at the top and click on Apple ID Authenicication in the list that comes up. That will give you the ID no. and password.

If the crash started right after you added RAM, it could be a bad Ram dimm. You can try this - change the amount of RAM in Photoshop to 4G, this should stop Photoshop from using the higher ram. If it doesn't crash, it's probably the ram. Or run a diagnostic app. You don't say when it crashes, what you're doing when it crashes - it there a pattern? Did it ever work on this computer? Did it work on your previous computer? Without a lot of data, it could be related to the new computer... What OS version? Did you recently update it? Have you updated Photoshop to the most recent update?
Do you have any plug-ins loaded? Try restarting Photoshop, and immediately press & hold the shfit key to turn off plug-ins.

I have an external hard drive that was formatted by a PC and has files and directories etc. I want to format it and use it on my IMAC for backup but I can't seem to write to it nor can I delete current content. How do I initialize it for use with the MAC?

You can't write to it because it's formatted as NTFS which OS X will read but not write to. If you want to continue using the drive with both a PC and OS X you will need to download and install NTFS-3G so you can then write to it from your Mac. You can get NTFS-3G at:

If you want to use the drive exclusively with your Mac then move the data off it and reformat it in Disk Utility (Applications - Utilities - Disk Utilities) as Mac OS Extended (Journaled.)

To set the default search engine, choose Safari > Preferences, then click General.
If you are having problems with extensions you can uninstall and reinstall the extension.

As stevejobsfan said. But also if your profile is correct and you are running system 10.7 on your iMac, you will not have much portability between the two either. Think of them as 2 different programs that just happen to have the same name.
OS 10.9 Mavericks' version of Pages has greater compatibility with the app version of it. But there are a lot of consequences to moving to Mavericks which should not be done lightly. Read around a bit on it before making any decision to upgrade.

Error Rounding Difference too high when reset cleared document using FBRA

My Client has posted cleared document with T_Code F-51. This cleared document has cleared 6040 open items.
And now, they want to reset and reverse that cleared document.
We found error "Rounding difference too high" when we are reset cleared document using FBRA.

A CAUTION
The article linked in YeOldMacFan's post gives the basic information. I would place some emphasis on these statements from the last two paragraphs:
"If you have no further need for the older version of the iWork application or the iWork suite on your Mac, you may delete the the application or the iWork suite by dragging the application or the iWork folder to the trash."
"[Keeping both versions] allows you to maintain consistent versions when collaborating with other people who may not have the latest iWork suite."
Collaboration with other people is not the only reason for keeping both new and old versions of Numbers (or Pages of Keynote) available.
The current versions were developed with the goal of improving compatibility between iOS, OS X and iCloud transferability of files, and many features supported in the '09 versions of these applications are NOT supported (yet) in the new versions. If you need these features for your work, then you still have a need for the older versions.
Any file opened, then saved from the new versions cn no longer be opened in the older version. Unsupported features may be removed on importing he file into the new version. The file may be exported from the new version as a Numbers '09 file, which may then be opened in Numbers '09, but unsupported features removed in the import to Numbers 3 will not be restored in the export.
Use your own judgement as to whether to keep of delete Numbers '09. My choice would be to keep it.
My personal choice has been to delay installing the new versions of Numbers Pages and Keynote until support for more of the 'missing' features has been restored.

The simplest way is to drag it across wirelessly using the 'Airdrop' application once both computers are near one another. 'Airdrop' can be found near the top, on the left hand side menu, within 'Finder'.
