Clearing closed change lists in Integration Directory

Hello,
Not really an important question, but one that I would to know the answer to nonetheless. How can I clear the change lists listed under my closed changed lists? I've been playing around in the XI system and have a bunch of them and it would be nice to be able to 'purge' them somehow.

Are you sure you are in seeing your 'Standard Change List'?What else option you can see?
If you are viewing some other users Change List, then there will only be two options :- Open and Transfer. Click transfer and the change list will be added to your Componenet, then activate it.

This could be due to improper authorization, ask you basis to check your authorizations.

How to Change SWCV in Integration Directory for adapters

Because of new SWCV, I have to point all interfaces to new version of SWCV. How can I assign Service Without Party / Business System Service to point to interfaces that require new SWCV?
I deleted and recreated Sender Agreement, Receiver Agreement, Interface Determination, Receiver Determination for new SWCV in Integration Directory but I could not assign or create Business System to interfaces for new SWCV. It is still pointing to old version of SWCV.
Can someone give steps on how I can change the SWCV in the Integration Directory?

you can only assing once
later on you just ADD them to the scenarios
by using Add to scenario function

How to block changes only in integration directory

Hi,
I explain the situation I´m experimenting right now:
After importing a tpz file, a developper needs to make some changes for example in the repository but he told the last time that he also modified data in a communication channel in the ID and I´d like to prevent this kind of actions right now...
What kind of roles could I use to stop this user modifying anything in Integration Directory and allow him at the same time making changes in the Integration repository?
Another thing:
Is there a kind of registration log in the Integration Directory in order to consult with details committed actions in the past?

you need to create correct role as per my blog (for directory only in your case)

Message interface not listed in integration directory

hi,
i have created 2 interfaces inside my message interface........
both are outbound.....!!
i am actually doing 2 scenario's inside the same name space......
when i go to integration directory i am no able to get one of the message interface's while creating the receiver determination and all those things.........?

if ur using business service then just
add outbound interface in receiver side and
inbound interface in sender side.
or if u r using business system then the problem is in ur SLD.
just check ur business system over their.

IDOC Sender Partner has changed after transporting Integration Directory ob

Greetings,
After we did a transport from QA to PR for a new interface (Intergration Directory) objects were transported,
The sender partner has changed to QA in all outbound IDOCs generated in XI PR.
I checked the adapter-specific identifiers and it is showing as production.
Any hint where I should check?

Found it in the filesystem communication channel as QA and changed it to PR

I have a similar requirement as Damian. I need an API (either a Directory API in SWC Basis or an api in the ABAP stack of PI) to read all the changelist IDs created for a particular user (user name being the query string).
Any pointers?

In ID When I Go for Environment-->>Cache Notifications
I Got the Following Error

Unable to determine the name of the central Adapter Engine from the System Landscape Directory at this time. Notifications to the central Adapter Engine are therefore listed using the technical name of the Adapter Engine. This is usually structured as follows: af.<SAP System ID>.<Name of application server>
I Checked With All PI* Users, None of them are Locked.
In The Runtime Workbench Component Monitoring-->> All Components AE, SLD,IR , ID, RTW, Are in the Green State Only.
Here If I Clicked on the Cache Connectivity Test Means It's Giving Error.
Attempt to fetch cache data from Integration Directory failed; cache could not be updated
[Fetch Data]: Unable to find an associated SLD element (source element: SAP_XIIntegrationServer, [CreationClassName, SAP_XIIntegrationServer, string, Name, is.01.epnwsrv, string], target element type: SAP_BusinessSystem)
Please Resolve this Issue.

did you try to clear the SLD cache in Integration Directory? After that SLD information is newly read and so your biz system will appear.
To clear SLD cache go to menu "Environment" --> "Clear SLD Data Cache".

Activate change list received Communication with JMS server failed errors

Hello XI Gurus,
The first time when we tried to activate the change list in Integration Repository (Design) or Integration Directory(Configuration) we received an error message below.
"Communication with JMS server failed
Repeat the last action. If the problem continues to occur after multiple attempts, contact your system administrator to check the availability of the JMS provider service."----
However, the second time went through, but the changes will not effected unless we do a refresh CACHE in order to see the changes.
This happened on any of the interfaces in Repository and Directory.
NW 7.0 SPS9

Logon your SAP J2EE Visual Administrator,
go to 'Serverxxx"->Services
->JMS Connector
and
->JMS Provider
Ensure that everything is running smoothly, no red cross. If so, restart the service
If you need to redeploy the JMS, go to 'Deploy', select 'Container' and navigate to the JMS connector to do the redeployment.

How do i clear deleted Channels and buss sys from Change Lists

i had created few bussiness systems and few communication channels and had activated them , now trying to delete it
it gets deleted from the object tab in the integration directory but still shows on Change Lists which is very annoying. how do i delete them permanently from the Change Lists

Hi,
You need to activate the changes after deleting any object, so that it is permanently removed.
If you have second thoughts after deleting it, you can go to change list and reject the changes that will restore the object u have deleted.

List of unnassigned objects in the integration directory

Hi! Hope this is an easy question. Does anyone know of a way to get a list of all objects - party, service, rec det etc... - that are not assigned to a Config Scenario in the integration directory. Need to do a cleanup and wants to avoid going object by object to get the list. Thx, Duncan

Thanks for the replies. The objects tab shows me all objects. I need to see only those not assigned to a CS. How can I do that there?
The where used option requires me to go trhough every object (1000+) and check one by one. That is what I am trying to avoid.

Integration Directory changes not reaching Runtime

Dear all,
I changed a few values on one of the communication channels but is not getting reflected on the runtime. Looks like a cache refresh issue, so I did a 'cache connectivity test' in RWB.
Integration server JAVA and Integration Server ABAP and Central adapter engine are the three entries present under integration directory.
The first two are fine and are in green but the third one(Central adapter engine) is in yellow. The details show
--Cache notification from Integration Directory received successfully (in green)
--Attempt to fetch cache data from Integration Directory not yet started or still in process(yellow)
Tried to refresh the result but it is still in yellow.
So as per the 'how to handle cache' guide, I checked the RFC destination INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI and it seems to be fine. Also I have checked http://<host name>:<port>/dir/hmidiag/ext?method=info and that seems to be working fine as well
Please can you suggest what could be going wrong or what else need to be checked

Change the SLD adress in Integration Directory

When I launch the SLD from the integration directory page I get an error and the host adress is not right.

URL for SLD is maintained in Exchange Profile.
In exchange profile you will find the URL maintained for SLD in "Connections". You need to change below parameters:
com.sap.aii.connect.cr.name
com.sap.aii.connect.cr.httpport
com.sap.aii.connect.landscape.name
com.sap.aii.connect.landscape.httpport

ERROR is given below:
Check result for Software Component Version bapiget| BAPIGETDETAIL_2 | 2.0 | 0: Standard error type ExchangeLogData for namespace urn:laxmi:getdetail is in another change list Software component version must be activated together with standard error types in the same change list

I thought You had not activated the software component and name space which you were created was not activated.Pls check it once if they are not activated,try to activate that and proceed.
