Clearing everything for selling

I am about to sell my I book G3 was wondering how i clear everything off it before i sell does anybody know ?

Do you have the Install and Restore CDs that came with the iBook?
If so, you can follow the instructions in this Apple Knowledge Base article:

When I close firefox "everything " is cleared! EXCEPT when I open it again and anything i have copied to the clipboard (paste icon) remains lit... I believe this can be a security breach because I clear everything when closing firefox !!

I have my settings to clear everything when I close firefox ver 3.6.13. If I copy something to the clipboard, the Paste icon lights up so I can paste the text... which is normal.
The problem is when I close the browser and everything is suppose to clear (history, etc) the PASTE Icon still lights up for me to paste again.
This can be a security breach because I want everything cleared when closing the browser !!!
The only way I can rid myself of this problem is to restart the computer... which clears the clipboard of the operatinging... which is absolutely normal as well.
I should not have to restart the computer each time.
Try It !!! type text in any box... then paste it by using the PASTE Icon
CLEAR all your history, everything ... then close firefox
Reopen the browser... and the PASTE Icon will light up

I only had a few addons installed, I disabled Zone Alarm toolbar, View Source Chart 3.01. I also had 5 separate java console updates/addons, and I uninstalled all but the latest java console 6.0.21. All I have now is Roboform 6.9.98, Firebug 1.5.4, Java console 6.0.21, Java quick starter 1.0. So far, so good, the problem has not occurred today. In iTunes, select the music you want to delete (⌘+a to select all) and hit Delete on your keyboard.
Also delete the music files in Finder. Also make sure you have your own Apple ID and iTunes account and logged in.

Firefox 8.1 downloaded today. Clearing everything, the Form & Search History will NOT clear. In 8.0 it did. Why now with 8.1?

I mechanically clear EVERYTHING often when browsing. What I'm getting live arrows on for a Clear are:
Browing & Download History
Form & Search History (this is the ONE NOT working, no hot arrow)
Next is Cookies
then Cache
Then Active Logins
Then finishes up with Site Preferences.
IT IS THE FORM 7 SEARCH HISTORY which won't clear using new Firefox 8.1 where in 8.0 it did. Thanks.

There was only one mac-affecting change made in 8.0.1 which involved preventing a crash in the latest Java plugin. No other changes were taken. If you don't have the option to clear Form & Search History, this may be because you don't have any? Another possibility is that you have an extension that's preventing it. Can you go to Help > Troubleshooting information and paste here the extensions section?

CCleaner says there are uncleared items in history when I've set FF to clear everything on exit.

Also, I clear the "History" (all items are checked) many times during browsing (shift+ctrl+del). The uncleared items found by Ccleaner include passwords, site preferences, cookies, etc. I have set up FF according to your "Help" topic on "History" to clear "Everything".

Firefox uses SQL databases for the items that you are mentioning. As with other database structures, items are marked as deleted and are overwritten the next time something is added to the database. I know for a fact that when you use Internet Options to remove cookies and history items for IE which are kept a plain, readable text files, the items are removed from the directory but the actual data still exists on your hard drive until something else needs space to write data, then it is over-written. In both cases, until the data is over-written, it may be recoverable until over-written. Computers are riddled with security issues because so much data is left behind that is not apparent to the user, but can be recovered with sophisticated software and/or methods.
The same is true when you delete a file on your hard drive, be it a text file, an image, or a video; the item is removed only from the directory, the actual information is still on your hard drive and can be retrieved, but it will be over-written the next time something is written to the hard drive.
That is where a program like CCleaner is needed. If used properly, it will delete the data and/or file(s) by over-writing it with random characters several times, making it difficult or impossible to retrieve even with with most sophisticated recovery software. CCleaner is finding the SQL database files, and over-writing them several time with randam characters to make the near if not completely unrecoverable.
In this regard, Firefox is more secure in that it does not keep cookies, passwords and other data in plain, readable text files as do many other browsers. Passwords in Firefox are encrypted and are virtually impossible for a human to decipher.

Clearing 'Everything' from the search history fixes the problem temporarily, for a very short time. I've been using Firefox for years and I've only recently been getting this problem. It's been happening on both Windows 7 and 8. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it but this problem has only arose since I upgraded to fiber power broadband, 100Mb. Trouble getting new computer to be the main library w/o clearing everything

I got a new computer with Windows 7 on it...my other one is a Vista (which has the main iTunes library)...I can get Home Group to work for the two computers...but I am having trouble getting the new computer to be my new main iTunes library...it says I have to transfer purchases or clear everything...I just want to move things from my iPod to the new computer's iTunes...must it be so difficult??? I don't see why this must be so hard...the computers both have authorization.

For everything else (music from CDs, other downloads etc) there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. Separate GR/IR clearing account for non material

HI,
In the business, already an account is being used as GR/IR clearing account (WRX) for non material receipts (Non material means there is no material code exists in the system but at the time of PO a description is updated manually).
There are in all two plants and at present all the non material values are getting posted to the same GI/IR clearing account. The requirement is to have a separate GR/IR clearing account for both the plants.
Please note that its related to non material only and there is no material code hence no valuation class can be defaulted. Also if valuation class is kept "blank", the system allows only one entry of account.
Please let me know if any exist is available on this.

It can be done by defining different valuation grouping code for both the plants in OMWD. Then for the respective valuation grouping codes you can maintain different GL accounts in OBYC

The requirement is separate GR/IR clearing account for Normal Inventory and STO Inter company.
Let WRX trigger for Stock items and Z** for Inter company STO.

In case of asset - we define account determination in asset master which is like stock account for material. But if you use purchase order then for asset you use account assignment category as A - it means it is like account assigned purchase order. So all goods reciept credit on these POs will go to GR/IR account created without valuation class. Same time if you donot maintain service masters then goods receipt will go to same account (no valuation class). So either you need to define service materials or use same account for both.

Excise invoice number range - for selling to SEZ

Dear All,
While creating excise invoice for selling in SEZ unit, Excise invoice type is taking Deemed instead of LOU. Because of this system is asking to allocate number range using J_1IEXLOC number object. Series group is 12 for EXPORT. As selling to SEZ is export under LoUwe would like to use number range in combination series group 12 and number object J_1IEXCEXP which is already maintained for export under LoU.
Please give solution as soon as possible.

Because in case of SEZ, they get a special status by the Tax authorities in which various Tax scenarios doesn't come into picture, they can be a export oriented org and so get exempted from duties like Excise etc in normal scenarios but the SAP system picks the number range object J_1IEXLOC or J_1IEXCEXP based on your ship to party..and some other factors...so obviously in deemed export your ship to party will be within India, check with your ABAPer...that is why in case of deemed export J_1IEXLOC is getting picked by the system.
In case you want to change..you need to write a exit..say for these kind of customers..maintain a seperate customer group..and from that system should check which number range object should be picked.
