Clearing issue and remove amount entered
we use a batch session (calling fb05), as attached, we don't have open item of 50 USD which is entered in amount entered(greyed out), so my question is how to remove 50 USD in amount entered field

I am not sure this is the answer you want, you can go to menu "Edit>Cancel" and then select the line item with amount $50 and go to menu "Edit>Delete item", then the $50 will be gone.

Apple, why did you change my Keyboard and remove the enter key?
Hi all,
I had my new black MacBook delivered just before Christmas. The keyboard has changed from my previous Black MacBook (the one a colleague poured wine over and killed... grrr).
Apple have changed the look of the command key and removed the Apple logo (very sad), but more frustratingly have replaced the 'enter' key with another 'option' key.
I found the 'enter' key really useful, especially for pull down menu and really miss having one.
Does anyone know if there is a way to assign the new 'option' key to be an 'enter' key?

Scott.I just received a new(refub) MacBook 2.2GHz today and was very disappointed to find the enter key missing. After selling my G4 PowerBook six months ago, I was so looking forward to having the convenience of being able to slap the enter key for dialog boxes with and submitting forms without having to move my hand from the trackpad. I hope that someone will come up with a way to replace the functionality of the missing enter key.
Which brings me to my next point- There has been a big oversight in the implementation of the MacBook's replacement of the Enter Key, which is to use the FN+Return keys. It seems that when using the FN key with the Return key, the system will ignore the Command key being invoked. I discovered this very quickly. Anyone who uses Apple Remote Desktop knows that in order to send a Unix command to a remote machine, you type the command in the 'send UNIX command' window, then hit Command+Enter to send the command. Return produces a carriage return, FN+Return does nothing, and FNCommandReturn does nothing. The only current work around is to use the track pad to the "Send" button and click, which really slows things down. -
I am having real trouble with the mac book air and i dont know what to do. It thinks it is full, i get warning messages every day, but when i check how the storage is being used it is 45.79 GB of "other" and I can't work out where to locate and delete these files. I have removed all my music and pictures, there are nearly no documents on the bloody thing, i have cleared the downloads, I have run a cc cleaner programme but nothing seems to touch this "other" amount. Its so annoying as it is getting to a point where i can't use the computer properly anymore. Do you have any clue what it could be or how i can deal with it?
It did this last year but not as bad, i never solved it then i just removed all my own files but now "other" is taking that space too. On a windows computer you would be able to click through and view what was taking up the space but you can't seem to do that on a mac. could it be a virus that makes the hard driver think it is full?

Empty the Trash if you haven't already done so. If you use iPhoto, empty its internal Trash first:
iPhoto ▹ Empty Trash
Do the same in other applications, such as Aperture, that have an internal Trash feature. Then reboot. That will temporarily free up some space.
According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of available space on the startup volume (as shown in the Finder Info window) for normal operation. You also need enough space left over to allow for growth of the data. There is little or no performance advantage to having more available space than the minimum Apple recommends. Available storage space that you'll never use is wasted space.
When Time Machine backs up a portable Mac, some of the free space will be used to make local snapshots, which are backup copies of recently deleted files. The space occupied by local snapshots is reported as available by the Finder, and should be considered as such. In the Storage display of System Information, local snapshots are shown asBackups. The snapshots are automatically deleted when they expire or when free space falls below a certain level. You ordinarily don't need to, and should not, delete local snapshots yourself. If you followed bad advice to disable local snapshots by running a shell command, you may have ended up with a lot of data in the Other category. Reboot and it should go away.
See this support article for some simple ways to free up storage space.
You can more effectively use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper (ODS) to explore the volume and find out what's taking up the space. You can also delete files with it, but don't do that unless you're sure that you know what you're deleting and that all data is safely backed up. That means you have multiple backups, not just one.
Deleting files inside an iPhoto or Aperture library will corrupt the library. Any changes to a photo library must be made from within the application that created it. The same goes for Mail files.
Proceed further only if the problem isn't solved by the above steps.
ODS can't see the whole filesystem when you run it just by double-clicking; it only sees files that you have permission to read. To see everything, you have to run it as root.
Back up all data now.
If you have more than one user account, make sure you're logged in as an administrator. The administrator account is the one that was created automatically when you first set up the computer.
Install ODS in the Applications folder as usual. Quit it if it's running.
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it, then copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:

Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window (command-V). You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The application window will open, eventually showing all files in all folders, sorted by size with the largest at the top. It may take a few minutes for ODS to finish scanning.
I don't recommend that you make a habit of doing this. Don't delete anything while running ODS as root. If something needs to be deleted, make sure you know what it is and how it got there, and then delete it by other, safer, means. When in doubt, leave it alone or ask for guidance.
When you're done with ODS, quit it and also quit Terminal. -
Does anyone know if there is a way to reset a drag and drop interaction through an On Enter action?
Here's the need:
The learner does the drag and drop interaction.
They continue through the rest of the module.
They choose to restart the module with everything cleared out.
Right Now: They get to the slide with the drag and drop interaction and the previous answers are there.
What I Need: They get to the slide and the drag and drop interaction is back to its original state.
Is this possible? If so, does anyone know how to do it (without the learner having to click Reset?)

As my requirement is such that I do not want any image to be shown aruond next to cursor, so I set Image field to null.
On windows it does not show any block (Image) but on Mac it does :(. -
Lockbox - SAP document clearing issue
Hello all,
Me along with our functional consultant are trying to figure out a lockbox document clearing issue and hope you could through some suggestions in. We are using FLB2 to clear SAP documents by using different search rules for invoice numbers on FLB2. Right now we have 5 different kinds of search rules based on document number (BELNR) and reference document number (XBLNR). We are able to clear the documents successfully if we have either document or reference documnet numbers in our input file using one of these 5 search rules. But now we would like to clear the documents also based on document assignment number (ZUONR). We tried few assignment numbers in the input file with all 5 search rules but FLB2 is not clearing any SAP documents. We are not sure if we need to have a new search rule specific to clearing the documents based on assignment numbers or how to create more search rules. Could you please suggest us if you have any thoughts on this?
Thanks,Change AVIP-SFELD as ZUONR (for assignment number) and then put actual value you received in lockbox file in field AVIP-ZUONR. That way, payment advice is created for this check with value in assigment field and program will look for matching value in AR in assignment field.
Also usually if customer is not found based on MICR number or based on match found using Doc# or Ref#, system will update AVIK / AVIP-KONTO as "*", so you need to search for customer number also and update it here.

I have one issue in MODVAT Clearing Account and Rounding off of Excise.
Example:

At the time of GR

At the time of Excise Capture
We done the rounding of Excise value
RG23 A BED 11
RG23 A Eces 2
RG23 A HEces 1
To MODVAT 14
At the time of IR . System create IR with reference of PO
GR/IR DR 100
MODVAT 13.9
To Vendor 113.9
So here you can see that there is a difference of 0.1 in MODVAT account and hence we are crediting Vendor with the lesser amount here with 0.1 RS.
So we cannot reconcile the MODVAT Account
Less Payment to vendor by 0.1 Rs
So is there any solutions on that.

IMAC start issues: black screen and required to enter EXIT.
At iMAC start I get black screen with Root directory and requested to enter EXIT to continue. This happens very frequently. Can somebody help me to solve this issue? Thanks
I would suggest booting from the Recovery partition, choosing Disk Utilities, then running Repair Disk and Repair Permissions. See if that clears this issue.
Others may have suggestions, but if the above doesn't work you may need to reinstall Mountain Lion...again, from the Recovery partition. -

There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
You may have installed one or more of the common types of ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it. It's been reported that some variants of the "VSearch" malware block access to the page. If that happens, start in safe mode by holding down the shift key at the startup chime, then try again.
Back up all data before making any changes.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, ask for further instructions.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. It may have come from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. I have not done anything unusual in form design. it was working properly from a long time.
Yesterday i set the default profile to idle_time = 20. Will that make any problem ???
I checked my Alert Log but no sign of any deadlock in it, or any other unusual activity ....
What is the solution ???

I would like to tell some more details here.
Previously i wanted to set an IDLE_TIME limit of 20 mins for all users in the DEFAULT profile.
So i did the process for the same...
I set the resource_limit parameter to true & then altered the default profile's idle_time to 20.
soon after that all the users who were accessing the database got this error while working ....
SQL error forced rollback: clear form and re-enter transaction.
In our case one user is opened & accessed by many people.
for ex - a user called UERP is open at Machine1 & also at Machine2. So at a time a single user can be opened at multiple sessions.
can this be the problem for forced rollback ???
My basic need is , i want to set the IDLE_TIME to 20 min but users should not face forced rollback error ????
what should i do ???

To avoid this problem, add NOWAIT option to the UPDATE and DELETE statements, which returns ORA-00054 error, trap this error and display user defined message like 'The record is being accessed and try after some time'.
This even improves the performance
because no process waits for the locks preventing dead locks.
If it is due to the UPDATE's or DELETE's with base table blocks in the form, in the PRE-UPDATE and PRE-DELETE triggers write SELECT statements to select the particular row with FOR UPDATE NO WAIT option. Handle by trapping the ORA-00054 error -
Unable to remove login items (Revert after reboot) iOX10.5 iMac
I am having issues and permanent encounter in having my removed login items reappearing after reboot. I have very MANY of the same programs in 'open at Login accounts' eg: Messenger,Safari,Skype,Evernote,Dropbox,antivirus, but they are listed dozens of times. in this 'open at login' area.
Here's the steps I have taken:
1) Open Applications, Account Preferences, cluck my administrator acc, select program to delete, click on - and wait.
2) Remove some login items (with or without unlocking the lock, doesn't seem make a difference, tried both)
3) Login items are now fewer
4) Reboot
5) voila, the removed login items are still loaded and displayed in login item tab.
How does one solve this? Tried to google, but....Strange,but try these 2...

Hi I Run Windows 7. Since upgrading to Firefox 4.0 I am unable to "clear history" and get the message "QuickTime failed to initialize". I can delete history when in safe mode with plug-ins disabled. Re-installing quick time fails to resolve the issue. Any ideas or suggestions?

Issue with usb flash and removable hard drives in Lion. (also an install tip)
Having an issue with my usb flash and removable hard drives. I plug them in and Lion does not display all my files/folders, I take it out and plug it into my snow leopard machine and all the files/folders are there, does anyone have this issue?
It does it on my macbook pro which was a snow leopard upgrade to Lion and it does it on my macbook which was a clean install of Lion via a bootable flash drive.
The computers both work great in all other aspects, so there were no errors on installation. It's plain and simple, some files/folders are not showing up that are present on the drives and viewable on all other non-lion OS's mac and PC.
Also a word on installs, I highly suggest doing a clean install (delete and reformat drive them install Lion vs a snow leopard ugrade) my machine that was a clean install (macbook) runs 50% faster and smoother than the upgraded one (macbook pro).Yes, you can use your backup disk drives in the manner you describe, but Apple provides conflicting information on the subject.

All other available technical details regarding Time Machine's use seem to indicate that a USB HD connected to Time Capsule should meet Time Machine's requirements. For what it's worth I have been using an external HDD connected to the Time Capsule's USB port and it seems to function just fine.
