CLICK & CLEAN appeared as a download a friend with much knowledge of computers thought it looked a bit dodgy, It was claiming to be from Firefox he thought I should find out what I can before doing anything,it is very persistent and is on my browser every time I open. HELP!!

Hi Glipmom, Firefox will update the themes and extensions you have installed, but as far as I know, it never installs new ones for you. Those would need to be installed at your request.
If the problem is a new feature inside Firefox -- such as a toolbar -- you should review your add-ons on the following tab and disable ALL nonessential or unrecognized plugins and extensions. By nonessential I mean you do not intentionally use it for daily browsing. Basically, you need Shockwave Flash, but you can browse without most other stuff.

Then restart Firefox and test again. Can you get rid of it?
If not, please describe the symptoms you have in more detail. For example, unwanted toolbars, unwanted startup tabs, changed home page, changed search provider, unexpected ads, etc. Please be as specific as possible.

I Get script errors on Club Penguin inFirefox and its slo. Not so with Chrome, but I like Firefox. can you help

I use the Club Penguin site to play with my grandson, but it is extremely slow and freezes all the time and I get lots of script errors. I have today downloaded Chrome and it works fine on there extremely fast and no errors. I have downloaded the latest Adobe Flash, cleared the cache etc but on this site it just keeps freezing. Can you help.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

I have no way to return to previous page without going completely out of firefox - can you help with this?

I start with the home page of a site. Then go to one of the other pages on the same site. I find no way to return to the home page without going completely out of firefox and having to start all over again. In other words the "back" arrow is gray and does not work to get me back to the original home page. Can you help with this?

Try double clicking on the Back arrow. If you click on it and hold it pressed, it should give you a drop down list of the previous pages. You can also achieve that by right click on the Back arrow. But if you do a single, quick click on it, it should take you back.

Firefox crashes when I open in both regular and safe mode, i am on windows vista help!

The problem began because my computer had to be sent in because it wouldnt turn on so i had to get it fixed they replaced the motherboard this was the second time the motherboard was replaced and once they did that my firefox hasnt worked the same. I can go on google chrome but thats not what i prefer to use.
& when i right click on firefox it says troubleshoot so im assuming its built in to my computer. im not sure.
I tried the profile manager to create a new profile and that has seemed to work so far. No crashing but it does freeze when i got to facebook and then i have to click ctr alt delete to open task manager to end firefox. It happened twice, the third time i went to google, then twitter and it didnt freeze. I then went to youtube and it froze. So Facebook and youtube make it freeze. Any idea why it does that?

I'm not sure if my previous question went through, so I apologize if this is a duplicate. Starting today I'm unable to attach a file to email when using firefox (31.0), function works when using Safari. When I click on the "attach file" button, my search browser does not open. Nothing happens.
I've read through previous posts of similar problems, have restarted my computer, uninstalled and reinstalled firefox, and cleared my history and cache. Unfortunately none of these attempts have been successful.

If you can't add attachments to Gmail messages then you need to add an allow exception to allow pop-ups for the Google website.
Easiest to do this is to click the padlock on the location bar and click the "More Information" button to open the "Tools > Page Info" window with the Security tab selected.
Proceed to the Permissions tab
Remove the tick on "Open Pop-up Windows" > "Use Default" and click the Allow radio button to change the permission to allow pop-ups for this domain.

I have created an interaction to show 7 groups and 7 clickable objects. Once all are click the Next Button is show. How can you make that work if you want to embeded the SWF just created but show a button in a master Captivate?

In flash you can have a shell that has the navigation and some button in the shell are not activated until all clickable objects are clicked. I am not a flash programmer but it was related to using the path of shell and the sub-project.

Hello Lieve, That is the screen shot of my custom interactivity, when all labels are clicked the Continue button will be shown because there is a conditional validating if all Labels have now a value of 1. What I am trying to achieve is to create an interaction where where the continue button (an the back button would reside in another Captivate project. This way there is no reprograming required or use of share-actions. Everytime we use a similar advanced action or a shared action we have to make sure the object name in the advanced actions or conditional actions are not the same. I trying to make it a bit dump proof for somebody that does not know any thing about advanced action and just reuse the label interaction in may projects. (The only thing they would change would be the image and the content of the label.

I have embedded other Captivate animation in a Master Captivate but the objets were not talking to each other. (You can see a sample http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Erm4_qdybiA&feature=youtube_gdata). In that sample the continue is always there and can be click anytime. The 3 steps animation has been done as another project and embedded in my main captivate. I would like to implement a solution where a my 7 labels have to be clicked in the subproject before showing and enabling the Continue button.

I did what rpearsonmtl suggests. For some reason that got me the following problem: After turning iPad back on, it did no longer recognize any of my purchased apps and music (but even if they showed as not purchased trying to purchase them would lead me to a message telling me i did have purchase them), after trying many things (to solve this new problem, not the one rpearsonmtl posted about) what worked was to close all apps, log off the app store, reboot the ipad, and loggin back into it (basically i took his advice again to solve my new problem).
Now, to solve the problem rpearsonmtl posted about what i did (but this time on an iPhone) was to simply close all apps, log off the app store and loggin back into it. No reboot needed apparently and maybe this also saved me from getting into the new problem i found myself into.
I hope this helps anyone who runs into the new problem. By the way, the solution found in my second paragraph also solved the problem of hidden music showing on my music app. My devices are an iPhone 5 and iPad mini, both with iOS 7.
