Click Event on ALV using cl_gui_alv_grid (DYNPRO)

How can I implement a listener for a click on ALV.
If I click on my ALV grid, for example PBA should be triggered. Is that possible?
Now it seems that nothing happens when I click on ALV.
Can anyone help?

you dont have to trigger event DOUBLE_CLICK, it will be triggered, in case of double click :-).
You have to implent event handling class and event handler method - It is quite simple.

Hi,
To trigger the DATA_CHECK event on pressing enter, you need to use the set_data_check method. Use the following code:
l_alv_model->if_salv_wd_table_settings~set_data_check( IF_SALV_WD_C_TABLE_SETTINGS=>DATA_CHECK_ON_CELL_EVENT ).
Now you can define the data check event handler and it will get triggered when you change something and press enter, or even if you click on another cell. The DATA_CHECK attribute will by default be set to be trigger only on clicking the 'check' button. This will change it.

About double click event in ALV report

Hi all,
I want to program a double-click event in ALV reprot.
I am not suppose to use module pool approach for the same.
If a user double clicks on the any of the row of ALV report, the transaction should get called.
Again, I am using function 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY' for displaying ALV.
Can you please help me to solve this?

You can do it easily by using Reuse_ALV_GRID_DISPALY.
The User Command subroutine which you pass to this function module in that you can check which field is selected and what is the value of that and also you can get the table index.

I am not too sure for your requirement, but what I could understood is "You have created an ALV table of buttons and have assigned with same onaction method, once cliked on any of the button, you want to figure out which button has been clicked?" If this is the casse then there is a very easy way to find out where the click has taken place, use the code below in the on action method of the button in the alv table.

check wdevent is bound.
lo_context_element = wdevent->get_context_element( 'CONTEXT_ELEMENT' ).
check lo_context_element is bound.

Once this is executed, lv_clicked_row would contain the index of the table row where the user have clicked, this value can be further used for business logic derivation purpose.

its a table update program . user can save create new entry and delete the entires . the screen should be avaiable for multiple time inputs by the user . i achived it by method handle double click and i am refreshing the scrren and making the alv for ready for input . but user wants the screen shoukld get refreshed automatically once user clicks on save button .

SAve is an user command . I want to have the values which are changed by the user and again the output should be ready for any actions like change the data , create new and delete any entry .
basically the alv output screen should be reday for inputs any number of times untill user clicks on back button .

I have to display 2 ALV grid...one above the other.
Top ALV will contain Header info and bottom ALV witll display line item.
I am use ALV OOPS.
Now when user will click on the top ALV ...bottom ALV should show corresponding data.
I don't have to use HOTSPOT or Double click event.
How can I handle single click event.

 for this in ALV OOPS take 2 custom containers( cl_gui_custom_container)in the same screen and on the 1st container display the header data(use set_tale_for_first_display method of class cl_gui_alv_grid).
 On the 2nd screen item data for this use EVENT handling(you want single click). use hotspot_click or button_click events.

Double click event in alv oops

Hi,
can any one please help me out... i dont know how to call events in alv oops...so can any one provide me with some help..
My requirment is i have to generate a mail grid containing customer details and if i double click on a customer it should go to the transaction XD03 second screen.....

u have to declae an event like this.

How can I capture mouse click events on BSP or Web Dynpro ABAP Screen

hi Guys,
Currently we have a user inactivity problem,
the requirement is: if user is clicking on BSP/Web Dynpro ABAP screen, he/she is considered active. so we need an mechanism to capture the mouse click event.
Using Firebug, we found that this js is in the iframe which contains BSP/web dynpro scrren: /sap/public/bc/ur/nw5/js/languages/urMessageBundle_en.js
we want to find this js file & put in some javascript code to track user's mouse click, but i cannot find it on server.
while in ie if we type http://host:port/sap/public/bc/ur/nw5/js/languages/urMessageBundle_en.js
this file can be downloaded, means this file is there.
Any one can help on this issue? find the js file or another way to capture the mouse click event.

We can not capture mouse click events on Web Dynpro ABAP Screen . I am not sure about BSP. But as for as I know the portal keep active the iViews until unless mouse clicks happens.
But for your problem I think you can get solution by setting iView Expiration to some more time period.

you dont have to trigger event DOUBLE_CLICK, it will be triggered, in case of double click :-).
You have to implent event handling class and event handler method - It is quite simple.

How to trigger single click event in ALV

Hi Experts,
      I am trying to raise an event in a module pool program whereby an event will be triggered on a single click of a particular row in the ALV.
   My requirement is that in the table display , which is being handled OO method, once the user clicks on a particular row - the details of the row should be displayed in another part of the screen.
   I have used hotspots and done this - but I do not want all my entries underlined.

Is there any other way to trigger the single click event in the ALV grid display for a particular row ? I have come across an event CLICK_ROW_COL, which I think may solve the problem, however this is a protected event and whenever I try to access it , I get the error that a protected event cannot be accessed.
