Click on app link goes to App Store but not the app

Since I updated to iOS 6, clicking on a direct link to an app gets me to the store but not the particular app.
Then I have to remember the exact name and search for it. In previous iOS I could get to the app directly.
This is most annoying. How do I change this behavior?

Well, it still is not working as I expected.
Sometimes, if I click on the link, it will go to the app store and produce a blank white screen.
If I go back to the link, in an email or web page, and try again, then the desired app will pop up when it goes to the app store. Sometimes the app store will just quit. Then if I go back to the store it will show the desired app.

Purchased music does not count against your iCloud storage and you cannot get rid of them in the purchased tab.

Your profile indicates you are running Leopard v10.5.8
You need to upgrade to Snow Leopard V10.6 in order to use the App Store. This is an "upgrade", not an "update".
Make sure your Mac meets Snow Leopard's requirements here.
You must have the minimum of v10.6.6 installed in order to access the App Store.

ITunes opens but without any text showing. Drop down menus have text but not the app itself. I have a Mac Powerbook Pro running Windows XP under Boot Camp.

Running under Windows XP, a few upgrades ago iTunes started opening without any text showing in the application. Clicking on PLAY will play music but no text shows to indicate what's playing and no text to show music library. Drop down windows show text but not the app itself.
Subsequent upgrades and reinstalls have not corrected the problem, When I run under iOS (Snow Leopard), iTunes opens with text and runs correctly.

Because I created FAT32 partition using Boot Camp tool few days ago I installed my custom copy of Windows XP with SP3, IE7 and WMP10 integrated using nLite (for WMP10 integration use RVM Integrator). I did not use Boot Camp tool this time - I just booted CD using Option key. Then I installed Boot Camp 2.0 drivers you can find on Mac Disk 1. After this I installed Boot Camp drivers 2.1 update. In Add or remove Programs I checked drivers - I uninstalled old drivers which call identical, but you can skip this. Everything works fine BTW it is better to format your partition to NTFS - you have much less disk errors, you do not waste time for disk errors scans during Windows startup, your data are much more safe. If you need NTFS write permissions use great tool Paragon NTFS for Mac OSX or open source NTFS driver.

Itunes synchronises my music files, but not the apps.

About a week ago I bought an Ipod touch. My computer recognises the Ipod and synchronises the music files on Itunes, but not the apps.

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
If that didn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
You will have to re enter the Wi-Fi password.
If that doesn't help, try here > iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
No data is lost due to a reset.

Why does my app store account tell me that my payment method does not match my bank's records. my card is valid and works for iTunes but not the app store.

While trying to change my Credit Card info: The app store tells me that my payment method information does not match my bank records and to try again or enter a new payment method. My CC is valid and its the same CC ive had for a while. This CC info works for iTunes but is not being accepted for the App store.I have changed this info online but cannot change it on my iPhone. It says your purchase cannot be completed. Purchases error unable to connect to iTunes Store.
This only happens while making an in app purchase.

Buying from US App store but getting the App in local language

Good day,
I am a US app store buyer but when I downloaded "Pages" this morning, I got in Italian (the coutry I live in). How can I get the App in English? It is anyoing since all my papers are in english and now its telling me i'm mispelling my words.
I tried to change the language to english but only the menu changed, the app is still in Italian.

In Pages the spell check language is changed in Inspector > Text > More > Language

I can log in on my apple account via internet but not the App Store or iTunes Store?

I cannot log into either the App Store or iTunes Store, however I can log into the apple website and get on my account there. I've tried to change password several times but nothing. HELP!!

I go to "Settings" > iTunes & App Store try to login and all I get is a spinning wheel in the upper left corner of the screen.

Purchased App from Imac App Store but want the App on my IPAD

I purchased a game app on my imac, via the App Store, hoping it would synch across to my IPAD, like some other Apps I purchased, but it will not Synch to my ipad. I have since found out that not all APPs are compatible, and if you wish to use a game or App on the IPAD, you must PURCHASE it FROM the IPAD App Store.
Has anybody else had this problem? Can you get a refund, or somehow get the game swapped for the IPAD version?

The operting system on the iOS devices are different than those on Mac computers. Thus you need different apps. It like trying to use a Mac program on a PC.

Sound work on the ipad but not the apps

My son was using the Youplayer and the sound was working, then all of a sudden the sound stopped working and the sound adjustment bar disappeared

I don't know what the Youplayer is but I assume its an app, quit the app completely and reboot the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Can I customise a macbook pro if I order it from an apple store but not the online store?

I would be coming to Melbourne. I plan to buy a macbook pro with the retina display there. However I would need to customise it ( I plan to add some extra RAM and upgrade the processor). Ordering from the online store would be a bit inconvenient since I wont have a permanent address for a few days and I would need a laptop pretty soon. Will I be able to buy a customised one from an apple store itself? I dont mind waiting for a day or two actually.
