Click on iDVD, but nothing happens.

I could use a helping hand.
I have created a movie in iMovie. When I went to create a DVD using iDVD, nothing happened. Then, I tried on clicking (double) on the iDVD icon. Again, nothing happens. I tried the other tricks, like highlighting the application, and using Command + O.
I re-installed the software in hopes something would work to open iDVD.
Any suggestions?

Does your iBook have a SuperDrive? Look in the System Profiler to be sure. It should look something like this under ATA:

If you connect your iPad to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases then it should copy over to your iTunes library. Depending upon what country that you are in you might also be able to redownload it on your computer's iTunes via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Firefox won't let me open new tabs. I have restarted, I've done the drop down, I've clicked on the "+" but nothing happens.

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:

You haven't told us very much. Windows or mac? What are you clicking on, a shortcut or the actual program file? If windows, editor, organizer, or welcome screen?

Ive downloaded "find my phone " to my iphone and visually see where it is...on screen. Ive icloud and itunes downloaded onto my pc and downloaded FMPhone there as well. I tried downloading the CS2 Help Package, but the downloading instructions don't match my Program Files setup. It says to copy the ZIP file to the Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Help Center\AdobeHelpData\Packages folder. But I don't have an Adobe Help Center folder in my Adobe folder! I also tried following the Installer defaults. I seem to have downloaded a bunch of files, but I don't know how to open them to get help.

Yes, that definitely was the case. But I figured out how to to download the Help
Center. I did that, and then my Illustrator Help sprang into action, and everything works fine now. Thanks!

what version of iPHoto do you have? Of the OS? is the iPhoto icon you are speaking of in the Dock?

If you go to your Applications folder and double click on iPhoto what happen?

Wont open a new tab.. Im clicking on the + but nothing happens

So I have a Dell XPS L702X laptop (win7.64) and a Microsoft surface pro both running the same version of FF. Same bookmarks and everything. I went through all the setting on both and compared all. Set them both to be exactly the same. But on my laptop (since the latest update) I cant open a new tab by clicking on the + or by using ctrl+shift+P. Nothing works. Its like the feature has been shut off but the + is still here and it even highlights when I hover my cursor over it. SO next I completely uninstalled FF and reinstalled the latest again. But its still not working. Oh and btw it works fine on my surface and other computers.

This can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Community Toolbar extension have recently been reported to cause such an issue.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

It was working fine yesterday but today after I installed windows update, it won't work. It just won't open.

The very first thing you should try is a simple reset. Hold down on the sleep button and the home button at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen, let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart.
If you haven't restarted your iPad in a while this can really help.
If this doesn't help, then you can try removing the problem apps and reinstalling them.
Retired Engineer makes a good point. It would be a good idea to update your software.

Have elements 7 downloaded on my computer. Tried to download lightroom 5 64-bit but it wouldn't download because I have Vista and not 7. Now my elements will not open. I click on it but nothing happens. Any suggestions.
