Click-to-call and CUCIMOC

Hi, I have a question about Click-to-call and CUCIMOC.  Can they be installed together? We tried to do that, but it didnt work. When we tried install CUCIMOC and then Click-to-call, it said, that we need to uninstall CUCIMOC first. When we tried it by other way, it was the same. Is there some conflict with these applications?
Second question is, does have CUCIMOC some  Click-to-call equivalent feature?
Thanks for any answers.
John

  • Click to Call and Presence Options with Sharepoint

    Hi everyone,
What options are there for providing click to call (CTC) and presence with Sharepoint? I have the following options (and thoughts) so far.
Deploy CUPC (Not going to happen, we're happily a Lync 2010 house but would provide CTC and unsure about presence for sharepoint)
Deploy CUCILync (Seems overkill, but would provide CTC and presence)
Deploy CUPS and use RCC via Lync (I keep on hearing that RCC was meant to be killed off in Lync 2010 and probably won't exist in future. Would provide CTC, unsure about presence)
Deploy click to call widget (Would be great to avoid another desktop application. Would only provide CTC)
Deploy Quad (Don't expect the Sharepoint guys buying in to that one...)
Use WebDialer API (Sounds like it would provide CTC)
Use existing JTAPI integration (This should be a given... Provides CTC and presence).
We currently have an existing Intranet, which provides click to call abilities/phone presence information using JTAPI. A team is completing a Sharepoint proof of concept and the question has come up how they can complete click-to-call and phone presence.
    Thanks,
    Mark

The first suggest to fix this error is to make sure that CIPC is running properly and that
a phone is selected to use with the Click to Call application.
This message is often presented unnecessarily when the ser invokes Click to Call but has not
entered their username and password into Click to Call Preferences then the user is
presented with the error "Click to Call cannot find Cisco IP Communicator.  Please ensure
it is running or select another phone."  rather than "Click to Call is not fully
    configured."
If you have configured the user options correctly then you need to check the Click to Call log
files to try and diagnose the problem you're having. They are located at:
    * Windows XP - C:\Documents and Settings\[Windows User Account Name]\Application
    Data\Cisco\Click to Call\Log
    * Windows Vista - C:\Users\[Windows User Account Name]\AppData\Roaming\Cisco\Click

    Thanks!

  • Click 2 call and excel copy/paste problems

Recent posts from late May claim that the click to call issues were resolved in late may. Today is June 21/12 and I resolved the problem yesterday by un-installing the click to call program. Prior to that cut and copy requests were losing the marquee around copied cells and when target cells were right clicked the context menu did not include Insert Copied cells.
Some problems may have been addressed but the problem still exists. It's too bad because click to call was a good feature.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

The problem was identified and fixed already in an update to the Click to Call toolbar in April: http://blogs.skype.com/garage/2012/04/skype_click_to_call_fix_for_of.html
*Best Solution* Download the new version of Skype Click to Call. It’s the quickest way to solve the copy & paste problem you are experiencing. Go to http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/get-skype/on-your-computer/click-to-call/windows/ and click Download Now.

  • Click 2 Call and Call Recording Apps for Surface R...

I think I know the answer to this, but it doesn't appear that Click to Call is a feature that is available for those of us on Surface RT.  Additionally, I can't find any of the call recording apps available through the skype site.  Anyone have any input on this?

Hi and welcome to the Skype Community,
    1. Unfortunately "Click to call" is not available on Safari for iPad because the Safari Web Browser in iOS does not support the concept of plug-ins (like Safari on Mac does). That means Skype cannot hook into the browser to extend the functionality.
    2. Just so I understand you correctly: You want phone numbers in Emails highlighted in the desktop application "Outlook 2013" as well, correct?

  • Skype click to call interferes with HTML cut and p...

FYI - I had to remove Skype click to call from my PC because it disables my ability to cut and paste HTML to microsoft word.
    Please fix this, thanks.

Me too! I thought it was a Google Chrome problem. I even rebuilt my laptop over it and spent a whole day on the phone with Geeksquad! I just uninstalled Click-to-call and now the problem is gone.
This is a really big deal, people use copy/paste all the time and expect the formatting to work. I'm telling everybody to uninstall click-to-call and/or don't install it in the first place. I hope somebody gets serious and fixes it. And, Skype will have to acknowledge the problem and tell me it is fixed before I will give click-to-call another shot.

  • Skype Click to call interferes with ClipBoard

I have found the strange behavior that as soon as Click to call has recognized a phone number (be it in IE or FF) on a webpage, it disables functionality of the clipboard: when trying to copy/paste within an MS Office program, only the text is copied and all the formatting info or the original formula in Excel is not copied anymore.
For that reason I had to disable and remove Skype CtC (I have version 5.10.0.9560). Problem is solved now, but nice feature of Skype is gone.

  • Skype Click to Call ERROR

I am running Windows 7 and the problem started right after updating Skype yesterday. I have tried removing it in Safe mode, as well as running CcCleaner. I have tried reinstalling the "Skype Click to Call" and I have tried uninstalling the main Skype application.
Recently there was an update with Skype. I updated the software which seemed to install something called "Skype Click to Call". Every few minutes a Windows Installer dialogue will pop up saying that it's trying to install "Skype Click to Call" but will then stop midway and say the following error dialogue:
"There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."
The same error and sequence of events happens if I try to: Disable "Skype Click to Call" from my Google Chrome browser (the plug-in), Uninstall it from Chrome, uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs, and repair or uninstall it from the Stand-Alone installer for "Skype Click to Call".

My wife is having similar problems with Chrome since her Skype updated.
She has Windows Vista, and Skype now can take up to an hour to finish loading, since the update, and Chrome locks up and crashes.
Trying to uninstall the Click To Call plugin from Chrome, it just hangs while trying to uninstall it, and if you try to uninstall it from Windows it also just sits there Preparing To Uninstall.
The plugin gave JS errors running on my Firefox 8, which disappeared when I disabled it.

  • Skype click to call interferes with Microsoft Offi...

Skype click to call interferes with copy/cut-paste in Excel and generally in Microsoft Office. Once installed it allows text-only pasting leading to time-loss in reformatting text. The problem is easily resolved by unistalling it.
Here are some proposed steps to improve it -
It needs better bug-testing before release
It needs to move away from piggy-backing on Skype (without asking user's permission to install/ update itself) and instead needs to be launched separately. This would also solve the iddue (for Skype) of people abandoning and uninstalling SKype altogether because of the buggy Skype click to call thing
Respect the user and the user's choice - and finally never ever take your user for granted (as the auto installation of Skype click to call has demonstrated)

  • Click to Call for Google Chrome not appearing

So I downloaded the most recent version of Click to Call and was able to enable this feature finally in IE. However, whenever I seek to do the same in Chrome (ver. 35) by going to Settings > Extensions, there is no Extension there to enable. have tried to download and install multiple times.
Again, the feature IS working in IE, but does not show up in Chrome. would really like to figure out why this would be the case.
    Any suggestions?

  • Cannot uninstall Skype Click to Call b/c Chrome

Hi. Not sure where I could post the question...
Anyway, I have the same problem with Skype Click to Call and I tried to uninstall it. A few seconds after I click "uninstall" the message would pop up asking me to "close all open Chrome windows before continuing". However, there was NOTHING open at that time. I made several attemts to uninstal it in different ways with the same result. I deleted Skype itself, but it did not help because Click to Call is a separate program. It is removed from Chrome extentions. I tried to download install it again and delete right away - same message. HOW TO GET RID OF CLICK TO CALL??? HELP!!!

There might be other applications that actually include Chrome to display web content. Try to uninstall Click2Call right after restarting Windows with no other applications open.

  • Skype click to call will not uninstall

When I try to uninstall I get a message that the installed product does not mtch the installation source.
How do I find the right source?
    Thanks.

    Hi Jone,
    Only for a note:
Cisco Unified Personal Communicator is not currently supported with Click to Call
Also Cisco IP Communicator v 2.1(3) or higher is supported. Cisco IP Communicator is supported in SCCP and SIP mode
For your problem i gues it may be due to a firewall existance or aproxy that direct your traffic
So you can check the following 2-points:
1.If a firewall exists between Cisco Unified Communications Manager and the client PC, your end user may not be able to use Click to Call.
Click to Call sends request messages to Cisco Unified Communications Manager over HTTPS using port number 8443. Therefore you need to configure the firewall or router to allow message requests and responses between Click to Call and Cisco Unified Communications Manager over HTTPS using port number 8443.
    2. If your organization routes HTTP traffic via proxy servers to access the internet, you must add an exception for the internal HTTPS traffic sent from the Click to Call application to the Cisco Unified Communications Manager server.
So either add an exception for the IP address and port number of the Cisco Unified Communications Manager, or use the server name that is already covered by an exception. An example of th e full exception rule is https://:8443.

  • Click to call won't install on windows XP "skypeclicktocall.exe is not a valid Win32 application"

Trying to install Skype click to call and receive the error message, "skypeclicktocall.exe is not a valid Win32 application" XP SP3 32bitSkype V. 7.6.0.105uninstalled and reinstalled Skype. I have a subscription for unlimited outgoing calls and since Skype does not allow importing contact lists from Google, click to call would be very handy.

Windows 8.1 ADK comes with a newer version of USMT (NOT 5.0) and crashes. I learned this today the hard way. I hope Windows 8.0 ADK's loadstate.exe works for restoring to a 8.1 machine.
Yesterday i used Windows Easy Transfer to move from XP to 7, and then re-did the backup in 7 so it would be compatible with 8.1, and it only restores files, not settings.
So i will test USMT 5.0 in this same scenario, because i have 30 machines to change to newer machines with 8.1

  • Click to call , annoying security alert

    Hi,
I have installed "click to call" and regarding calls when I use this application everything is fine. BUT ...   every time I want to place calls using click to call, security alert appears on the screen although I have installed CUCM certificate .
How to resolve this annoying thing ???
    Thanks,...

I had this issue, and found that the "certificate issued by" and the website i was trying to go to (the webdialer service) were not exactly the same.
    for example.
In the Click to call preferences the webdialer service was set to "ccm01" , which is correct.
the certificate was issued by ccm01.domain.com  which is also correct.
However when comparing the certificate issuer with the webdialer service they don't match.
SO in the preferences set the webdialer to the fully qualified domain name of the server.
Second issue I had was that I could not change it easily.  I found that if Outlook was still running, I could not make the change.
Exit all applications that might be using C2C.
Even if you exit on the tray icon, it will still be running.
I actually changed my setting in the registry before I realized this.
    Good Luck
