Click to call installed along with Skype for windows 8 desktop.
I click on a website displayed phone number and it won't even pop up the skype desktop because it says I need credit for this call.
I have a subscription. I have unlimited credit to call land lines.
What gives?

As far as Skype Click to Call is concerned, I personally never use it. For all we know it doesn't like your browser or something is missing or interfering with it's operation since I assume you can dial normally without it? You can always uninstall it and reinstall just Click-to-Call.

You should really check your Skype account's usage to observe what numbers it's really trying to dial. Maybe it's prefixing additional digits based off a country code thus dialing a different number then you believe it is.

Another thing you can do is run this in a run box to see if it will get the correctly formatted number across to the Skype client and dial it.

If you have Skype Premium then you can access chat support. Just follow the steps provided in this FAQ: https://support.skype.com/en-us/faq/FA10656/What-is-live-chat-support
About the calls, Skype Premium comes only with Unlimited US&Canada subscription if you are located in US or Canada.
If you are then it might be that system was not able to properly detect it and you will need to contact customer service. They can sort it out for you.

Need Skype Credit when I have a Subscription?

I just decided to try the world subscription for a month, as it's a free trial. When I logged in to Skype on my Windows 7 pc, I was only able to connect to the landline I was calling for a minute or two and then it cut me off, saying that I need to purchase Skype credit to continue. I had already gotten the confirmation that my subscription was active, and it works just fine on my tablet. I'm not sure what to do. Help please?

as far as i understand u...u can use ur subscription from ur tablet but not from ur pc
if i am correct, my question is...do u use the same internet provider on both devices?
if not, please check if the provider doesnt block voip calls

Strange problem with Extension Mobility and Click to Call

Can anyone explain how is it possible ? Any ideas, guys?
CUCM 7.1.3
PC1 with IP comm. and user1 is logged in to Extension Mobility + Click to Call. User1 can make a call using Click to Call.
PC2 with IP comm. and user2 is logged in to Extension Mobility + Click to Call. User2 can't make a call using Click to Call.
The following error appears on the PC2 screen:
"The call failed. Please ensure you are logged into your Extension Mobility device. If the problem persists contact your phone administrator"

PC2 and PC1 - have the same configuration and software installed, both PCs are on the same LAN subnet. There are no any firewalls between PCs and CUCM server.

Sounds like a possible permissions issue on the workstation to me. Have you tried configuring one of your test users as the local admin on the workstation?

Lync 2013 click to call from Outlook 2013 does not have the option for Lync call

We are currently migrating from OCS 2007 r2 to Lync 2013. We are on office 365, but Lync is on premise. After migrating several users the option in Outlook to click to call someone only shows one option, which is to call the person's desk phone. Before there
was a dropdown where you could choose desk phone, mobile or Lync call. This issue isn't happening to everyone. We are using Office 2013 and Office 2010. Please let me know if you have suggestions or if you need more info.
Not sure if this is related, but some people have lost the option to view their contact's pictures.

Try to restore your iphone via iTunes or update to ios6.1.2.
If itunes gives an error with restoring (DFU/Recovery or just normal)
try this:
open your computer and search on windows; C://windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts
open up the hosts file in note pad you will see IP adresses and more add another line and put in this:
#74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
this is a by-pass to the cydia/saurik restore server, it has nothing to do with jailbreaking over voiding apple's warranty

I really do not think it is the iPad or your network connection. Other users have reported this very same issue. Try this and see if it works for you - it may not work - but it's easy to try - harmless - and it has worked in the past for others.
Try signing out of your account and restart your iPad.
Go to Settings>Store>Apple ID and tap the ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Go back to Settings>Store> Apple ID and sign in again.

There are no alternative voicemail apps - the core functionality of the phone can not be replaced.
You'll have to look for an external service, that can then forward calls for each caller onto the correct phone.
At our business we use Voipfone.co.uk which allows multiple phone lines to come into one VOIP account.

This is actually based on how the site handles different file types; Hotmail gives it to the browser as "application/octet-stream" or something like it, whereas sites that properly open it in the browser tag it as "application/pdf". Unfortunately there's nothing you can do about this without setting up a proxy to rewrite the HTTP headers. Complaints to Hotmail in the past haven't worked, and it's not possible to override the behavior in Firefox.

Please be aware of the calling plan you have chosen. Somewhat often, some customers have chosen a Landline-only minutes/subscription plan and have attempted to dial a mobile phone with their surprise to the additional charges they weren't expecting.
Did you choose a landline-only plan?
This means that calling an Irish mobile phone number will result in additional costs deducted from your Skype Credit. There's also a mobile and landline plan for a higher premium. You'd still be taking advantage of Skype's low calling rates.

Click to Call on WinXP, using IE8 in a SharePoint ...

I'm testing a SharePoint website in IE8 on WinXP. Skype is installed on the machine. When I am signed in to the SharePoint site, Skype is appending the phone numbers with it's Click to Call icon. But, once I sign out, the Click to Call icon is no longer displayed, nor is it in the code.
Has anyone else experienced this? If I am on Windows 7 and using IE9, the Click to Call icon is present in both authenticated and annonymous environments.

A Skype Number does not work as you describe. Please allow me to clarify: a Skype Number is a fixed line telephone number. In either of the two scenarios, below, the call will be recognized as a Skype Number and the call will be routed to your Skype Account for you to answer the call (unless, of course, you have your Skype Number forwarded elsewhere, but that is not the subject of your question!).
Scenario 1:
Whether or not someone is using the Click-to-Call browser plug-in will not matter; the caller will be charged toll or long distance fees if applicable. If your Skype Number is a local call for the caller, then naturally they would not incur any call-related expenses. If working properly, Click-to-Call should recognize any telephone number.
Scenario 2:
If the caller places their call from or using their Skype account, seeing as a Skype Number is a land line number, they would need either to Buy Skype credit or purchase a Skype subscription in order to cover the cost of the call.
