Click-to-Call not calling

Hi folks, I'm totally new around here, so please go easy on me.
I'm running Win 8.1 and use FF (v29.0.1) with Skype 6.16 and Click-to-Call 7.2.15747.10003. Everything appears correctly with links being highlighted for use with Skype. I have a valid subscription and can make calls manually without problems.
However, when I click to call a phone number it bring the Skype console to the foreground, but does not initiate a new call window or phone call.

Any advice on how to overcome this would be greatly appreciated. Switching to another browser is not desireable as Chrome is a heap of turd and IE is even worse.

Having the same problem with click to call. Loaded it [Windows 8.1) - using Firefox - all appears normal - hover over the phone number and click call - Skype console opens and it does not dial. Add to Skype option does not work either. Opens the console and that's about it. Anyone???

h:CommandLink : Action event not called on the first click

I am facing a problem here.
I have a JSF page:
When I first load the page, I have few text boxes and dropdowns. With out doing anything If I click the <h:commandLink I call an action in my pagecode.
But the problem is on the very first load of the page, without doing anything if I click on the command link action event in my pagecode is not called, but If I click on the link the second timethe pagecode actionevent is called.
So I think tried submitting the form in the JSF page onclik of the commandlink it works in my Local IBM RAD. But doesnot work in the WebSphere Portal.
So can you tell me if I can submit the form atleast once when the page loads for the first time

seems that a prependID="false" attribute in the respective form was causing the trouble. At least it's working now that I've deleted it.
I introduced it, because last time the component ID's messed up the output of the error/success messages ("j_id:xxx isn't that of a usefull information to the enduser).

There is nothing I can find in "Preferences" in Facetime to turn that on or off. I suspect it has to do with having a more current operating system; that the "controls" are in the operating system? [I'm guessing] It's frustrating getting Facebook calls from several friends on Ipads! Any ideas...VFP

Exactly, what Apple is doing is leveraging new features only on newer OS X versions to force you to upgrade OS X to 10.7 or later.
What they don't tell you is 10.7 or later will NOT run your PowerPC based software, some of it you can't get Intel versions like for perfectly working printers, scanners and games etc. So it can be a very expensive OS X upgrade to 10.7 or later with third party software.

Also they don't tell you is the risk in bricking your machine if the update goes badly, so you have to have AppleCare in case that occurs so it's on them to fix it. Else your paying money to replace the logicboard or buying a new machine prematurely.
A four year old machine can't have AppleCare, it's only good for 3 years from date of purchase new.
Your machine came with a boot hard drive, it's usually got about 4-5 years of life on it, then it needs to be replaced.
Also they don't tell you the newer OS X version has more abilities and features that causes your machine to slow down in performance, especially on older machines.
Also they implement new, idotic and extremely fustrating new user interface features in a arbitrary "you take it or leave it" manner with little or no fall back method.
So upgrading OS X is a gamble on older machines that otherwise would likely work perfectly fine for the next 5 years if one didn't need to have to mess with it.
Since Snow Leopard has slightly over 25% OS X version market share, your still good for security updates etc for the next few years if you just want to stay where your at and be happy.
OS X 10.4/10.5 need to upgrade, 10.6.8 ok still
The Lions are, well, not so welcome due to Scott Forstall retard UI issues, OS X Mavericks 10.9 is likely going to fix things a bit better.
But basically what is occuring is Apple is trying to force a faster hardware upgrade cycle with the more expensive products by leveraging features on the smaller devices that expire sooner.
Apple is a hardware company that leverages whatever it can to get you to buy more hardware, it's why they are as rich as they are.

Click to call not working with Firefox 31 in Windo...

I have a problem with Click to Call in my new computer.
Windows 8.1
Skype 6.20.0.104
Click to call 7.3.16540.9015
Firefox 31
Click to Call not working with Firefox.
With IE11 it ok.
When I directly copy the URL "skype:+48xxxxxxxxx?call" into address field of my Firefox, then automatically opening Skype with only 1 window- contacts, but not opened window with call phone, and not started to call.
When I do this same in IE11 , Skype opened 2 windows ( contacts and call phone) and start call to phone number.
I don't know why. because in my second computer ( this same Firefox, Skype, click to call) but Windows 7, Click to Call working with Firefox.
Please help me.
Maybe someone have a solution ?

ADF - ReturnListener not called after many clicks in dialog window

I´m using ADF dialog framework to implement a re-usable pop-up search window. Everything works fine except when the user performs serveral (more than 8) searches in the pop-up window.
When this happens the returnListener is not called and the selection is not made.
I´m using ADF with MyFaces.

Decode function not called for a custom component

I know this problem happened in the past - in the EA2, EA4 and I believe the beta version as well, but does anyone know if it has been solved for the release ?
In short - I'm working with the release, created a menuBar component and the decode method in the renderer is not called after I submit the page. In the past, there were rumors that this happened due to relative paths in the JSP (for js files, images, etc.).
Does anyone else have this problem ? or better , know how to solve it ?

It's not that simple - The component is getting rendered, all the encode methods are called and the decode is called also , but only the first time the form is submitted.
I added this custom component to the guessNumber application, and I have a menuBar in the greeting.jsp that leads to the response.jsp and vice versa. it looks like this in the greeting.jsp page -

and every time a menuItem is clicked on, the JS calls submit form.
Since the menus are rendered, I assume there's nothing wrong with the rendererType and any other renderer problem. Since the decode is called only once, I assume the right form is being submitted.
So, what can cause it to stop calling the decode ???
Could it be that becase I go directly to the page and not through the navigation rules ( I call window.open directly from the JS), it creates a problem ??

Not calling the action method??

hi ..
now i up with some common problem...
i said as common problem coz i dont know where the error is occuring.
here is the description.
In my jsp
i am having a panel tabbed pane with 2 panes.
first pane contains some 20 text boxes with save button, used to save the entered records to the database.
second pane contains the summary page which displays all the records from the respected table with select option button(radio). By selecting the single radio button we can edit the particular record by getting the same in the first tabbed pane fields...
(here, i am using a javascript to select any one radio button in the form coz radio buttons are generated thru datatable)
In java

i populate all the data from the table to a list. and i display the populated data to the summay fields.
save button action
saving the data to the table
edit the value
updating the edited values
Here, my problem is after entering all the fields in the first tabbed pane
i click the save button. if there is no data in the table(database) all things working properly, but if there single data, save function is not calling. but the constructor are calling properly.
i am using hibernate for the database conn.
i know this is some sort of logical error, i am posting this only if any one who had already face this type of error(might be in setting session values).. suggestions plz..

File Upload action is not called

I'm trying to upload file to a server and I use WDFileUpload UI control. After I select file on the client and click on 'Upload' button nothing happens. Action that assigned to that button is not called. But if FileUpload control is empty, file is not selected, action is called. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Hope you mustve also created value attributes of type binary and string to be bound to the data and filename properties(of the Upload UI element) respectively.
In the 'onActionUpload'method specify the location where you want the file to be uploaded. On browsing, you get the file name in the value attribute assigned to the filename property of FileUpload. This creates a file by this name in the sever. The contents of the file is present in the value attribute bound to data property. This is written to the file created. This happens when you click the Upload button. The code for this is given below.

Function call not working - why?

Hmmmm. I just don't see why this is not working. I have an application with a new class I just created. The class loads, but will not call it's own internal function.

Caller ID for incoming calls NOT displaying name from contacts (only displays phone # on BB Z10)

on the Z10 Whenever I receive an incoming call, the caller ID only shows the phone #, even when I have that number matched to a contact in the phone, even the call log it show the number and not the name. How do I get the caller ID to recognize and display the appropriate contact name with the phone fro an incoming call? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Akhanbilal

Thank you Arsen but, as with everyone else : (1) When you get an in-coming call, it has no call log on the phone app call log that allows you do a thing under the sun except to touch the number of the last call, and when you do, it CALLS THEM BACK. (2) On every other BlackBerry I have owned, about 10 to-date, I simply selected the last in-coming call and had a button at the bottom of the screen to allow me to ADD TO CONTACTS. (3) This does NOT exist on the Z10, and there certainly is no "Click on number, little slider pops on the right, select add to contact." Instead it dials them. Frustrating other uses have described Arsen. Further, while on the topic : (4) None of this has anything to do with 10-digit national dialing plan or anything else on swipe finger down from top in Phone App, Arsen. (5) When you swipe Phone App down, you see SETTINGS. Then, there are 13 items. I have looked at all 13 items and see nothing as you describe to select, nor any instructions on what to set the SMART DIALING to when there are 3 area codes local for my city and country code shows +1. Further, while on topic here : (6) Visual Voice Mail has been turned-on and whatever visual voice mail is, never supported on any previous BlackBerry including my 9780 before this, I have it with T-Mobile and have it turned on on the BlackBerry Z10 and it too does not work. On the positive side, I do have a work-around for BlackBerry Z10 to 2013 Toyota entune. (7) I first took a vm msg .wav file of just hello (blank will not send) and saved it on BlackBerry Z10. The Toyota entune is LOOKING for a music and will LOCK-UP if none are found. By giving it this, it worked on my 2013 Toyota entune for the 1st time ever. Yeah ! It is a little frustrating every few minutes listening to myself say HELLO. But, hey no one really notices it with all the other stuff going on NAVIGATION, radio, cell phone calls, and all the computerized alerts on 2013 Toyota even without entune. (8) What I did now was to go into Navigation and remove SYNC with MUSIC. I accomplished that after pairing to Z10 to 2013 Toyota, by CANCELLING ALL CONNECTIONS leaving only the pairing itself. Then, you must choose some connections in the pairing section of SET-UP within Navigation itself. If you cannot even get to that point, try depressing on the Navigation Screen, INTERNET at which point it will allow you access to SET-UP when you see the message NO ENTUNE APP FOUND ON YOUR BlackBerry Z10. Red-headed step-child is what we all are. Have to help each other. Arsen I appeciate you helping all of us. Seems the list is about 20 who have voiced it here in this one thread. We voice it for the 200 million BlackBerry users worldwide, all left out in the cold despite a pretty cool Z10 product. Far better than iPhone 5. I chose phone and internet. Internet comes back no BLACKBERRY Z10 TOYOTA ENTUNE APP. But, at least now I don't have to hear the music HELLO and do not also have the BlackBerry Z10 LOCKED-UP with pop up message you have to say OK to 10 million times to clear and never can actually do a thing on the BlackBerry Z10 as a result. Cannot add an in-coming call to Contacts Z10. Cannot see name and number calling me, just the bloody number, no clue who is calling ridiculous. After SRM 5.0 upgrade BBP_DRIVER_DETERMINE not calling properly?

We have upgraded our system from SRM 4.0 to SRM 5.0.Before upgrade we are using BBP_DRIVER_DETERMINE to determine function to create PO. If is b470_po_create function then use zb470_p0_create function.
After upgrade we have tested and found that zb470_p0_create is not calling. We put a brakpoint in the implementation of BBP_DRIVER_DETERMINE it will never stop there. Before it was stopped there.
Can any one have flow how PO will create in backend system in Calssic scenario please share(with function module and BADI names).
Please tell me flow after click on order in SC how PO will create in backend.
Please let me know ASAP..bcoz it is urgent..

The standard process flow as far as i know are as below:
1. once you order teh shopping cart the workflow asscociated get triggered and shopping cart would go through approval process.
2. Once the shopping cart is approved the status is set to released.
3. With the change of stauts "BBP_REQREQ_TRANSFER is triggered.
4.BBP_REQREQ_TRANSFER internally calls BBP_PD_SC_TRANSFER_INTERNAL for new structure(version of SRM)
5.Badi is called to group the PO if implemented else standard way fo SRM for grouping of PO iscarried.
6.Then SPOOL_PO_CREATE is triggered for backend PO creation.
7. Then FM META_PO_CREATE is called.
8 Then FM META_BAPI_DISPATCH is called.
9. Inside FM META_BAPI_DISPATCH u have the BAPI BBP_DRIVER_DETERMINE Called. if this badi is implemented it will go to implementation of badi and overwrite the FM name with Function module that SAP determine from table "BBP_FUNCTION_MAP".
request you to put a break point at META_BAPI_DISPATCH and check why its not going to your BADI implementation.
10. then the function module from "BBP_FUNCTION_MAP or you badi implementaion is called and proceesed further to result in PO.
If for some reason the "SPOOL_PO_CREATE" fails then a spool job is created which spools the creation of PO for later time.

Why button can not call its script?

I did very simple work: open Director MX 2004, click the
button icon on the Tool Palette, and draw a button on the stage.
Right click it and menu appear. Click "Scripts..." and script
window opens. MouseUp() event function is there already. Write
something in mouseUp(). Anything is OK. Put a breakpoint on some
line.
OK, then click menu Control-Play to run the movie. Click the
button on stage. At this time, it ought to be broken on the
breakpoint. But it didn't. The mouseUp() was not called!
On the other hand, other controls are OK, such as Text,
Shape, etc.. Only botton can not call its script. Is it a bug of
Director MX 2004?

It may be that you're creating flash component buttons. Try
setting the tool palette to 'classic' mode (the dropdown at the top
of the tool palette). The buttons you create once you've done this
