Click to call not highlighting all numbers all wit...

skype click to call does not recotnize all numbers for me. Specifically many US numbers do not get highlighted.
its very weird because they all use the same format. Anyone else have this issue? How can it be solved? I use skype click to call for work and it is very importatnt for me because it gives me that 5 second edge over other companies. But sometimes it lets me down when it just will not highlight some numbers. This is all from within the same website.

(We tried it previously just by closing Chrome with the normal "red X" process in Windows, and it didn't work, because there were still processes and extensions running in the background.)
2. Once we killed the processes for Chrome with Task Manager, I got notification from some of them that the extensions had crashed (Roboform, TamperMonkey, Pinterest, and several other extensions). Then in Task Manager no processes for Chrome or Chrome32 were listed any longer.
3. We uninstalled Chrome completely.
4. We then went back to the Chrome site with IE (the #1 browser for downloading other browsers) and re-downloaded and re-installed Chrome.
5. This time, when I first launched Chrome, it told me that the Skype Click to Call extension was being loaded, and asked me to Enable it. Once I enabled it, I refreshed all my screens in Chrome, and VOILA! The click to call feature worked just as it should.
TL;DR: Basically, you need to close Chrome and kill all the Chrome processes, uninstall Chrome, then reinstall Chrome and re-download the Click to Call app. (Seems like the last two steps can be done in any order.)

    When I directly copy the URL "skype:+48xxxxxxxxx?call"  into address field of my Firefox, then automatically opening Skype with only 1 window- contacts, but not opened window with call phone, and not started to call.
    When I do this same in IE11 , Skype opened 2 windows ( contacts and call phone) and start call to phone number.
    I don't know why. because in my second computer ( this same Firefox, Skype, click to call) but Windows 7, Click to Call working with Firefox.
    Please help me.

    Sounds that you have installed a Firefox Beta release and thus are on the beta update channel, see Help > About.<br />
    The Beta update channel receives an update twice a week.
    You need to install the current release to switch the update channel to release.
    Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

    If possible uninstall your current Firefox version to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
    *Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because all profile folders will be removed and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords from profiles of other Firefox versions.
    Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure that "remove personal data" is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox.

  • Find command not highlighting all search results

    Hi,
    Acrobat Pro 9, Mac OS 10.6.8
    This seems to be a fairly recent problem.
    When I do a search -- using the Find command -- of a PDF document for a particular word, Acrobat in some cases places the cursor to the right of the word while in other cases it highlights the word with a blue color. How can I get the program to find and color highlight all instances of the search term?

  • Click to Call not working on WIndows 8

    Having issues with Windows 8.1. I have successfully installed C2C on-top of Skype 7.3.0.101 (which should be the Desktop version??); Phone numbers are properly highlighting in Firefox (37.0.2).  When I click the "Call" link the Skype dialogue box opens (not always to "Call Phones" screen) and ......... just .... sits ... there.  The phone number is not populating Skype (see below), let alone dialing anything.
    Since Windows 8.1 came pre-packaged with Skype, and there appears to be an indicator (See highlighted below) "[2]" I was wondering if there is a conflict beween two versions of Skype (the Desktop I installed and the Windows 8.1)?

  • Click-to-Call not calling

    Hi folks, I'm totally new around here, so please go easy on me.
    I'm running Win 8.1 and use FF (v29.0.1) with Skype 6.16 and Click-to-Call 7.2.15747.10003. Everything appears correctly with links being highlighted for use with Skype. I have a valid subscription and can make calls manually without problems.
    However, when I click to call a phone number it bring the Skype console to the foreground, but does not initiate a new call window or phone call.

    Any advice on how to overcome this would be greatly appreciated. Switching to another browser is not desireable as Chrome is a heap of turd and IE is even worse.

    Having the same problem with click to call. Loaded it [Windows 8.1) - using Firefox - all appears normal - hover over the phone number and click call - Skype console opens and it does not dial. Add to Skype option does not work either. Opens the console and that's about it. Anyone???

    I am trying to use Skype Click to Call, but it does not seem to be working. I was able to call contacts using callto://CONTACT_NAME, but the second I try to call any mobile or landline number (I.E. - callto://9731234567), it does not work. Skype will come up, but it will not make the call. I am running on:
    Windows XP - 2002 Version
    4 core Pentium processor (1.7 GHz)
    256 MB of RAM
    Google Chrome
    If anyone could provide any insight or ideas, I would really appreciate it. I have already tried a large number of things to fix this issue. Thank you so much for any help!

  • Multi-site Webdialer/Click to Call not working

    Hello pros
    I have a CUCM 7.1 deployment  with 50+ sites.  I got Click 2 Call and Webdialer to work on the central site, but trying to start a call from a phone that is not on the main site does not work. I guess is related with some filtering access/list on the path... Before checking routers and switches access lists like crazy, I would like to know which ports CUCM uses to control the IP phone and which ports would use the phone to answer to those requests. ¿Can anyone give me a hand with this? I haven`t found it on the documentation.

    Thanks for your input. However Im not sure if 8443 is all I need, communciation between Click2Call and CUCM seems to be fine. I´ll explain what I got.
    PC in central site, phone in central site WORKS
    PC in remote site, phone in remoet site FAIL
    PC through VPN (bypassing WAN restrictions), phone in remote site FAIL
    PC through VPN (bypassing WAN restrictions), phone in central site WORKS
    PC through VPN (bypassing WAN restrictions), IPC in same PC WORKS
    So the problem seems to be between CUCM and Phones in remote sites...
    Please share your  thoughts

    I am running a samsung netbook with 32 bit Windows 7 and IE 9.
    I have downloaded click to call and can see it as enabled in the IE list of add-ons, however it does nothing.
    At no stage do I get any phone number highlighted on any website.
    I keep Skype up to date and have redownloaded click to call several times but to no avail.
    It works on my PC and old laptop, just not this one.
    Help please!

    Try this.
    a)     Click Start.
    b)     In the search box type cmd
    c)     Right click and select Run as administrator.
    d)     Type the following commands and press ENTER.
    cd\
    cd C:\Program Files\Skype\Toolbars\Internet Explorer
    regsvr32.exe skypeieplugin.dll
    Restart your PC.

    I have the same problem.
    I installed the Skype - Click to call Plug in several times on my Macbrook Pro w OSX 10.9.5
    and I can't find the extension in chrome to enable it.
    Have any solutions been discovered for this problem?

  • HTML click to call not doing anything

    On a webpage, sometimes there is an html click to call link. The Html is "callto:"
    When I click on this link it brings up a box that say do you want to make Skype the default program to lauch this I tick the box and click accept.
    Then it opens up Skype and goes to the calling screen.
    Thing is it doesn't bring over the number, it just stays blank.
    Does anyone know why this is?

  • Click to Call not working for user.

    I have a user with Click to Call 8 installed on Windows 7 64-bit.  It's worked fine for the last month, however a few days ago it stopped.  When we open preferences and update his username/password, clicking on the Phones tab fails to pull any extensions now.  However, if I enter my credentials it pulls my extension immediately.
    I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, changing his password, nothing seems to work.
    Any ideas?

    Hi I have the same problem.
    I'm running Windows 8.1
    Click to Call used to work on this PC until a resent Windows update happened.
    I am using Skype on the Desktop client applications.
    I can see that Click to Call in installed in my browser IE11.
    My webpage phone numbers have the little skype s next to them and they look like hypelinks but if you click on them nothing happens.
    I've uninstalled and reinsalled Click to Call ... no change.
    Is there a fix?

  • In a content editable page right clicking within a div highlights all content within the div

    Open the following page in firefox. In a separate tab open another page, highlight some content and copy it. Move back to the original tab and try pasting the content. Whenever you right click in the area which is within the div tags the whole content between them gets highlighted.

  • Click to Call plugin does not appear

    Dear all, Currently, I am trying to make use of the click to call which I just installed. I am running Windows 10 and using latest version of Chrome as browser. Although I installed click to call on my pc, the plugin does not appear in any menu. I also do not get the notice that a new extension is added. I already went to (Chrome) settings > extensions, settings > privacy > plug-ins etc. I do not get any sign of the click to call programm at all. Please could someone help me out? Thank you so much!

    If you go throught my question again, I mentioned the contact detail for this person is present in the Outlook contacts.
    That is I have saves this person's phone number in my outlook contacts.
