Click to open FCE-HD but as opening slate pops up and begins loading it suddenly disappears without loading. Happens whether I click on previous project or the FCE-HD Icon in dock. What's wrong?
I was just resetting the FCE-HD, but didn't finish when it shut down. I tried to reopen several times using Icon in the Dock, but no luck. The Opening Slate came up as though it was loading, but within 5 seconds it shuts down w/out loading. I then chose to try opening a couple of different stored projects, but get the same results. What happened and how can I access Final Cut Express to complete resetting it and begin a new or open an established project?

You do have the DVD and serial number available for the re-install?
Sometimes a conflicting program or plug-in for FCE can be the cause.
Do you have any non Apple apps or plug-ins on your Mac?

Unable to open certain apps (but WILL open using 'Show Package Contents' trick)
I have a number of apps lately that I've tried to install, but when I first click on them to use, they simply bounce on the dock for a minute or so, then quit out.
None of the apps are related, most are very minor, but the most familiar to everyone would be Google Chrome. After doing some searching of my own, I've been able to determine that the only way to open any of these apps is to right click on the app, go to 'Show Package Contents', 'Contents', 'MacOS', then double click on the 'Unix Executable File' (for this example 'Google Chrome'). They all work just fine if opened this way, but after closing any of them and then trying to open them again using the good 'ol double click, they just go back to bouncing on the dock and then quitting. I tried booting into 'Safe' mode, and after doing this the apps seem to open up just fine. So obvioulsy something is interfering with a select few apps on my system from working. I'm wondering if there is some simple command in Terminal I should be using that would easily clear up this issue (I've already tried a few of these that I've seen on other help sites, but don't remember them now unfortunately). Just to assist those who might help you with this, please give the exact version of Photoshop CS6 you are running, for instance CS6 13.0.1.3.

Sorry, I cannot help you myself because I don't deal with that kind of 3D images, don't use Windows, and in all frankness I'm not quite following your last post.
Also please give the exact model of your graphics card, so they can check whether it is on the list of cards tested by Adobe.

I doubt that the W-4 has a submit button. If you are using Reader XI (actually the topic of the Reader forum, not this one), you should be able to save it and then print and deliver. If it is set to be submitted by the browser, then it may be your Reader and the browser are not talking properly. If there is a generic URL that you can provide that has the W-4, we might be able to give you more info. A lot depends on what your particular form looks like. Hand carrying it should always be an option.

Solid amber is an indication that the AirPort Express has locked up, or that an internal electrical component has failed.
Power off the Express for a few minutes, then power it up again. If the solid amber light persists, the next step would be to perform a Factory Default Reset on the Express to see if that will clear the lockup so the Express can be re-configured.

I don't think there's a problem such as you mentioned because the pages are all similar : text and drawings. Some of the pages with drawings work, other similar pages don't.
I converted with Calibre to epub format and this seems to work !!!
So good so far...
Now I need to find a conversion to pdf to allow me to use goodreader or iannotate.
Basically... the text is ok, because a conversion allows reading. So a shortcoming by Apple in my opinion. Again, all pdf's should be readable on such an expensive tool !!! -
