Clicking a picture in the list shows me a different picture

When I view my album of images the preview will sometimes show me a picture I took recently but when I touch the preview it shows me an image from months ago that isn't even on my phone anymore. This happens very often, and is repeatable. Every time I click some pictures it shows me an old one instead. Syncing the phone doesn't help anything. Has anyone else had this problem?

Use iTunes to remove all pics, currently synced to your phone, from your phone. Then, close iTunes and delete the iPod photo cache, as described here:

Once complete, launch iTunes, connect your phone and sync your pics back to your phone. This initial sync may take longer than usual as the iPod photo cache is re-built. See if doing this fixes things.

The appleid its showing you is associated with one of the apps / songs or another purchase that was on the device the last time it was backed up which it needs to download the app / purchase again. It won't be from the person who has your ipad now unless they downloaded it and then your device was backed up afterwords, so only if the backup date was listed as AFTER your device was lost / stolen.

10.9.2 Mail - Shows 5 flagged messages; clicked - no messages in the list

My upgrade from OS X Lion 10.7.5 to OS X Mavericks 10.9.2 was fairly straightforward. No major issues.
However, Mail shows 5 flagged messages. When clicking on Flagged indicator, there are no message in the list. Strange. Everything else appears to work as expected.

Is an external display connected and turned off? If not, open Mission Control. Do you see the window(s) in any other spaces?

Every so often when using safari my bookmarks disappear and then later the list shows up again. Does anyone know what causes this and how to fix it?

I have had exactly the same problem now with two mini iPads. Everything was tried; 1) restarting; 2) restoring factory settings etc. NONE worked. Eventually Apple agreed to replace it. I have had the replacement now for two to three months and exactly the same thing is happening again. So off to Apple tomorrow to get another replacement.
I am quite a heavy user of the iPad so wonder if this is something to do with the fault.
It is so frustrating as sometimes reset works, and then after 10/20/30/40 minutes (you pick) it goes unstable again.

Sometimes when I click an email in the list, T-Bird will send the one just above it in the list into the trash. Didn't use to do this. What gives?

Pretty annoying--it makes you think someone or something is stealing your emails! I have a suspicion it happens most when I try to access an email immediately on opening T-Bird, but can't be sure.

Yes you certainly can.
Right click any desktop in the list > Settings > in the left pane select the desktop you want to auto connect to > check "Auto connect to this desktop".

How can i show the first item in the list as selected item

How can i show the first item in the list as selected item when user click on the list. Right now when user click the list the list shows the last item in the list as selected or highlighted. Furthermore if the list item have large no of value and a scroll bar along with it then the list scroll to last item when user click it with mouse. I want that when user click the list item with mouse list should show the first item as highlighted.

How do you show mail contents from the lists

When we open mail the list shows on the side. We are not able to open and read the mail. Any suggestions

Try turning the account off and on : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then tap the account on the right, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'
If that doesn't work then try closing the Mail app completely : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
Also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

When I click on a bookmark in the listing, nothing happens. If I right click and click on "Open In New Tab" the page loads. I am using version 14.0.1

Firefox just updated to version 14.0.1. When I clicked on one of my book,marks from the listing, nothing happened. The page did not load. If I right click on the bookmark and choose " Open in a New Tab", the page loads in a new tab. None of my bookmarks will work by simplying clicking on them from the listing.

Is there a way to change the order of the list that appears when i right click on a link?

In previous versions of firefox, when i right clicked on a link the list that appeareded was in order:
first Open Link in New Window
second Open Link in New Tab
In firefox 4 this is reversed. Is there a way to change it back?

Thanks to the-edmeister and cor-el, for speed of response. I had not inadvertently moved the Bookmarks-Toolbar : I was confronted with the situation right after Firefox 9 had installed and unfolded in front of me. At first, the toolbar area looked reassuringly familiar, but when I started normal work, I discovered the lack of tabs and the only reference I could see to TABS was a tiny button inviting me to group tabs (which was unhelpful to say the least, filling up the screen with tiny unreadable windows). Sure, there were tabs forming, but they were invisible, unless I used the group button. Eventually, I was brave enough to use "reset toolbars" and the tabs came back in the way I want them, but it was a traumatic 2-3 hours out of my life. I kept on "adding a new toolbar" to see if I could make use of it; I kept giving them names, but it is impossible to see where the new tool bar is! (the toolbars don't have a little bit to grab at one end). In my opinion, Firefox should not have allowed the Tab Bar and the Bookmarks Toolbar to become caught up with each other - they have completely different functions. I don't think I would like to play around with "Make a new profile"! I was so desperate that I have already downloaded version 3.6 again, ready to install, for if I was unable to resolve the version 9 problems above.

BDC does not work in the list of report.

I have report with selection screen and after entering the value in selection screen it goes to module pool screen and shows output in table control. And after click one button here the output shows in the list. After getting the out put in the list we can use the print option to take the print out of the list.
My requirment is i have do the same thing through BDC. It is working fine but once it reach to the list output, the BDC is getting fail and the print option is not working. I did the BDC in recording. After analysing, I found that any report ouput list does not have the Program name and screen number(System-status).
So i had tried it with the submit report option also but in this there is module pool so submit report is also failing after reaching to the module pool screen.
Please help me out in this issue.

Why can't I click on spotlight on the desktop sometimes?

ometimes, since i uppdated to mavericks, i cant click on spotlight on the list on the desktop. I have to restart computer to make it work again. When i try to click the little reading-glass i get this "wrong" sound. Someone knows how to fix it?

Are you clicking in a Finder window or the reading glass in the upper right hand corner of the menu bar?
If Finder, go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Re-launch Finder by logging out/in and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer ones.

How to refresh the list of SCs?

Here's what I have done so far.
-Installed NWDI.
-Ran the configuration wizard which created MYCOMPONENT, MYPRODUCT and SANDBOX track.
-When I go to SLD, I see that MYCOMPONENT has 3 "BuildTime" "Dependencies" 1) DI BUILD TOOL 7.0 2) SAP J2EE Engine 7.0 3) SAP JAVA TECH SERVICES 7.0.
- When I go to my CMS Track, landscape configurator, I see "MYCOMPONENTS" listed in the table of "Developed Software Components"
- When I go to CMS - Transport Studio - I see the 3 SCAs in the CHECKIN tab and I checked them in and later IMPORTed to Development. Import finished fine.
Now, my goal is to load the CRM Java Components 7.0, CRM Java Web Components 7.0, SAP Shared Java Components 7.0, SAP Shared Web Java Components 7.0, Tealeaf and CRM IPC Mobile into the SANDBOX track so that I can view the source code of the CRM application through NWDS.
I have all the SCAs downloaded. I imagine I should go to SLD, Components and add the above "new" dependencies to MYCOMPONENT. When I try to do that now, I get a screen where I have to search for the components and when I search for "shared", I get search results showing version 5.0 of the Shared components, even though I have copied them onto the inbox folder folder (I only see the older three SCs in the track Checkin and not the newly downloaded ones).
As you know I downloaded version 7.0. But How can I load them up so that the list shows the newly downloaded ones?

Thanks for answering.
I guess my question is two folds -
1) How do I make the newly downloaded (now on my desktop) SCAs to appear in the SLD > Components so I can add them as dependencies for MYCOMPONENT.
After downloading the SCAs, what do I do with them? I probably should upload them somewhere? or copy them to some area so SLD is aware? something else, may SDM?
At this point, when I go to SLD > Components > pick MYCOMPONENT and try to add dependencies, I see a lot of CRM stuff in the search table - but not 7.0.
2) If I can accomplish the above task, I am sure as per the note you mentioned, they would appear under CMS > Transport Studio > CheckIn tab.
I hope I am clear in explaining what I am looking for.

How to make list show up "selectively" on different regions?

Hi,
By default, "list" is in the Shared Component.
Is there any way I can make the "list" NOT shared? Meaning that I want to control which "regions" the particular "lists" will show up or not.
For example:
On my APEX Home page, I want to have 5 Forms (Form1-From5) for the user to select from. And each Form contains 3 sub-forms: New Entry, Update and Delete.
So on the Home page, I defined 5 regions (for Form1 - From5), and within each region, I have 3 "lists" for New Entry, Update and Delete and in turn each list calls appropriate form to perform "New Entry", "Update" or "Delete" accordingly. It looks something like the following:
Form1
Form1NewEntry Form1Update Form1Delete
Form2
Form2NewEntry Form2Update Form2Delete
and so forth.
However, since the "list" is shared components, whatever lists that I define in Form1 show up THROUGHOUT ALL 5 forms, that is "Form1NewEntry" and "Form1Update" and "Form1Delete", which is NOT what I want. Is there a way I can use "Condition" to make the "lists" show up in "region" (NOT page) selectively? And how (since there are MANY options in the "Conditions")?
Or if not, could you suggest the alternative way of doing it? (ie: Form1 -> subformNewEntry
-> subformUpdate
-> subformDelete)

I have a similar requirement. I have several tabs (Operations, Maintenance, Safety, etc.) and users get individually assigned rights. I have a table where I have all the users listed and I added one column for each tab so I can set whether or not that user has access to that tab. You could go the same thing with groups if you want.
Basically, my table looks like this:
USER_ID, USER_NM, PWD_HASH, SAFETY_TAB, MAINT_TAB, OPER_TAB, etc.
where each of the _TAB fields is set up as a VARCHAR2(2) for just Y/N.
On my home page, I assign an APPLICATION_ITEM called G_USER_ID (Global User ID) on login so I can track who it is. Then I set the condition statement on the tab to SQL QUERY RETURNS AT LEAST ONE ROW
using the following query:
select SAFETY_TAB from APEX_USERS
where SAFETY_TAB = 'Y'
and USER_ID = :G_USER_IDThis example would be for the Safety tab, but you can easily substitute others. It works pretty slick.
