Clicking on Group Tree is causing all previous pages to load first (Crystal XI)

Hi,
If I click on a record in the Group Tree all the previous records are loading first. Is this normal? Is it possible to have only the selected record load?

I have tried a few DNS servers -- no improvement I can see, but since it is only a sometimes thing, I can't say for sure.
Something new I've noticed, which may be related somehow: For the past few days, I've been having trouble with my high speed cable connection. Cable company (Comcast) says the modem reports a good connection, but from time to time no internet access is available (Widgets, browsers, et al can't connect to anything).
When this happens, or maybe just before it does, if I click on a link in a page in Safari, the gear wheel in the tab appears but does not show any activity until I move the cursor. IOW, its 'spokes' don't spin. Once I move the pointer, even by just a pixel or two, the spokes start spinning, after which the page may or may not eventually load.
I've waited as much as two minutes before moving the cursor, so I'm pretty sure this isn't just coincidence.
Anyone seen anything like this?

Unfortunately, I am still unable to open my core productivity apps, namely Skype and Evernote. Twitter, as well, could not start. But interesting quick fix though, I never knew you could do that.

Right clicking on a flash object causes all flash objects to crash

whenever I attempt to right click on a flash movie or other flash based object the flash plugin crashes and takes all flash objects including those in other tabs with it. There does not seem to be any other problems with the plugin just that it crashes when an attempt is made to right click on any flash object.

Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

You can check for problems with current Flash plugin versions and try these:

Connecting Zen Vison to PC causes all .exe to stop load

Hey all.
I'm having a strange issue. When I connect my Zen V 4gb to my PC i become unable to open ANY applications such as .exe and .msi files until I unplug the unit. I have tried plugging it in directly to the PC, and through a USB 2.0 hub.
I am running WinXP SP2 and Widows Media Player v. I also have the latest firmware installed on my Zen V.
Thoughts anyone?

But it looks like I might be able to fix the tags directly on the player as well (I have a feeling this might be slower, take more time). I can drag single items (I'll do one by one if that's what it takes), but I saw that I can also drag multiple items (so that will cut down manual labor). I just hope that it won't get stuck once I get close to droping the 500th item. I didn't get a chance to try because I had to come to work, I'll try later and let everyone know.
Don't edit the files on the player. If you copy the files back to the PC the changes will be lost unless you use a special update feature in MediaSource 3.

Report is Blank Until you Click Group Tree

I have a report that is opening as a totally blank page (except for group tree). When you click on group tree, the report appears. Once this happens, you can refresh the report, and it is fine.
Can someone tell me what is happening, and how I can fix it?

As you've discovered, this can be caused when the Preview app on a Mac saves a PDF form. Any script you download has to be installed in the correct location and then Acrobat has to be restarted. An alternative to using a script with Acrobat is to export the form data and then reimporting it into the form.

How to hide Group Tree in Crystal Report Server.

i have created one crystal report and my report use group to summary the amount of each day.
after i use group to summary, i used text box cover the group. so my group can't click anything.
After that i upload my report to crystal report server, when i viewed my report and when i click on Group Tree, it will show the list of group (group date in crystal report) and it also can click. I don't want to show the Group Tree in Crystal Report Server.
Anybody know how to hide group tree in crystal report server?

Are you talking custom application, or infoview? If it is custom app, you would have to look at the setToolPanelViewType method. if its infoview, no direct way to change this that i know of.

How to change Group Header Font in Crystal report Left Most Group Tree?

I am using crystal report 10 with C# 2005. I have an issue that i want to change the font of Group Header Text that is visible when we click on Toggle Group Tree button and a tree pane is visible towards the left side of report viewer.Means all the Group Tree Items that are visible when we click Toggle Group Tree button on Crystal report Viewer.
I have goggled a lot but unable to find any hint. Any idea or help would be highly appreciated .

look for information on drilldowngrouplevel function. this is available in versions 9 and higher.
i cant test it in mine to give you the syntax, but you would need to create another section and conditionally surpress the section on the drilldowngrouplevel function. hope this helps

Create Group Tree option no longer available in report designer

I am currently using Crystal Reports 2008 report designer to create reports which are embedded in our application. We deploy a run time version of Crystal within our application. In previous versions there was a report setting in the report designer to "Create Group Tree", this appears to no longer be available in Crystal 2008. My question is... Is there a way to enable this option outside of the report designer? Is there a setting that I am just missing? This is causing an issue since I cannot upgrade existing reports to the 2008 version without losing the ability to display the group tree. thanks

CR 2008 only has a .NET Report engine now so I moved your post to the .NET SDK forum.
I kind of recall this may have been and RDC API, there is no RDC in CR 2008 and the Embedded Designer is for use in the Visual Studio .NET IDE for creating reports only. No longer licensed to be used in an application nor can it be distributed. If you were using crpe32.dll it is no longer supported as of CR 9.

Hide Group tree

When I run the report I could see the Group tree window as well as parameter window. By default it is selecting the Group tree window. Is there any option in crystal reports 2008 to make the parameter window as default instead of Group tree window ? Also, Is there any option to just hide the Group tree window ? I appreciate your help.

If you want the "Parameters" section to show up by default in the preview panel then you will have to make at least one parameter visible and editable in the "Viewer". The setting is the first setting on each parameter "Show on (Viewer) Panel" which is by default Do not Show when creating new parameters. The Group tree section will still be available though.
In Crystal 2008 you can hide the preview panel by unchecking the "Show Preview Panel" under File - Report Options. I don't know how to turn off individual sections in the preview panel.

Why there are some metric without "Last Upload" in "All Metric" page?

I am developing a MYSQL Plugin. after I deployed it to agent, and add target to it. I found there is something strange for some metric collecting/uploading. And I test it on both OMS 10.2.0.4 and OMS 10.2.0.5, they have the same issue.
In page “All Metric”, not all of metrics have a value under column “Last Upload”. And if I click the metrics without “Last Uploaded”, some of them actually have data collected/uploaded and display it in UI. Then I am very confused why those metric had no "Last Upload" in All Metric page? Does it mean those three metric only collected/uploaded once? Does it mean there are something wrong with my XML? or what?

If the 'Last Upload' timestamp value shows "-", it means data for particular metric(s) never got uploaded from EM Agent. This can happen if:
- Metric collection is disabled
- Metric is defined as 'Real-Time metric'
- Metric is defined for scheduled collection, however, due to some parsing error, EM Agent

By clicking on the metric link (on 'All Metrics' page), you are performing a real-time collection - i.e., Agent is informed to collect the data and provide it to the caller APIs so that the data can be displayed on UI. Such a data displayed is not from EM Repository. Hope this addresses your confusion with - "...why those metric had no "Last Upload" in All Metric page...". If you want to see the history data, you need to expand the particular metric and click on the sub-links (which are the non-kyy metric-columns that you would have defined in the target-type metadata xml file)
Since you mentioned that when you are doing a real-time collection (by clicking on the metric link on 'All Metrics' page), you are retrieving data, I don't think there should be anything wrong in the metadata xml file. Yes, it can happen that EM Agent didn't find an entry in default-collection OR there was parsing issue for the entry in default-collection, which may cause the metric to be assumed as 'real-time' by EM Agent. However, looking at the example that you specified, don't think that should be the case.
Can you check
1. the 'Collection Schedule' and 'Upload Interval' mentioned for these metrics on 'All Metrics' page ? Is this
same as what you specified in the default-collection xml file ?
2. Are there any errors reported in emagent.trc / emagent.log for metric "ProcessList_Count" ?

Click on Purchases, billing and redemption to get started. Are you sure that you actually downloaded the magazine? I have a subscription to one magazine and I choose to download the magazines on my own rather than automatically.

I have pages 1,2,3 and when an error comes in page # 1 it goes to "Error PAge" (pg#200) and displays the error there on pge#200
and in the same way for pages 2 and 3 , on error page there is a return button and when clicked should go to that page
where it has come from page#1 ,
Can I know how to go about this and when I added the &APP_PAGE_ID. in the "page in this applicaiton"
it just refreshes the error page when the return button is clicked but does not go to the previous page #1

I have done something similar for a Help Page.
Essentially, I created an application item called app_calling_page.
When somebody clicks the help icon, I set a request called &APP_PAGE_ID.
I set the application item APP_CALLING_PAGE
with the current page &APP_PAGE_ID.
Then on my help page, I have a back button, my target is a page in the application which redirects me back to
&APP_PAGE_ID.

Home page loads fine but all othes pages load in no styleeven through it is set to basic page style

started today dident load home page right had to reload it sence then the home page has been loading fine all search pages have loaded in no style. i click view, go down to page style it set to basic page style

That is exactly the procedure I went through. This will allow me to use it as a homepage as long as Firefox remains open. I can return from other pages using the home icon and it works fine.
HOWEVER, as soon as I close firefox it won't load.
I did notice that the upper case letters are somehow turned to lower case for the location arguments of the page in the current page entry and they don't get changed in the bookmark entry.
