Clicking the "Format" "Preset" links freezes AME Build 8.1.0.122
I am getting the freezing problem when trying to export clips out of AME CC 2014.
I am getting this on two different computers, and it's coming from clips sent via Premiere or AE. (All cc 2014).
If I drag and drop a present then it works fine, and will usually allow me to click the links then. Clicking the file save works just dandy.
Computer settings:
27" iMac running Yosemite 10.10
1 tb SSD.
Plenty fast, 24gb ram, 3.4ghz i7
Anyone who can fix this for me earns a lifetime supply of Stretch Armstrong Action Figures...(1 is 1 too many).
I think I know what's going on here so if you could try this again, but wait a few minutes to see if the Export Settings dialog comes up. There is a known issue in Yosemite that causes that dialog to take a long time to open and will make the app appear as though it is not responding. If you try it and the dialog eventually opens, then we're talking about the same bug. The good news is that once you've waited it out once, the problem goes away until you relaunch AME. We have alerted Apple to the issue and they hope to resolve it in a future update.

Clicking the Sign in link often leads to an error 404 page
Hi!
This is an error that has been around (at least on my computer) for some months now:
Pressing the Sign in link on the Adobe Forum pages takes me to a non exising page error (404).
this is the page I get to:
Page is not available broken link 404.
Also there is no form to report this kind of web page errors, when clicking the "Send us an e-mail" link on this page..
Signing in from some other page or form at first seems to make no difference,
reloading the page makes no difference, but clicking "sign in" again, I get logged in (without getting to the sign in page).
Am I the only one having htese problems?
I'm on Windows, alwsay using FireFox (latest version).

A week, or so ago, there was some maintenance on the Jive end of things, and many were getting similar 404 errors. It was my understanding that those had been resolved, and that things were working fine.
As several have been having issues with Adobe's own cookies (I had a big one with Adobe Store), I would also try cleaning your browser's cache, just to make sure that it's not something specific to your browser.
As many of the "powers that be" monitor this forum, like the tireless John C./Adobe-Admin, I suspect that after the three-day weekend (for many in the US), that you will get definitive answers and advice. Look for those to come on about Tuesday.

If you are using DWCC (check under Help > About Dreamweaver to verify your version) and don't like the CSS Designer, you can get the old CSS style panel back by hitting Control + Alt (Command) + Shift +P

Nothing happens when i click the tab and links wont work?
usually my tab icon works but the past couple of days i click on it and nothing happens. its becoming frustrating that i have to open alot of firefox windows. also when i click on links it opens a new window not a tab and the window is blank. Please help.

The download starts with Firefox Setup 6.0.2.exe, but I always have trouble with "setup" programs that appear to be manageable size (this one estimates 45 minutes to download), but once run, starts a ten-hour download.
This should be easily available information on the website... what is the total download size if the current Firefox installation package?That's the size of Firefox Setup 6.0.2.exe, which I started to download but figured there had to be more.

I was trying to click a link in Gmail, but the "Block" bubble popped up and I accidentally clicked the "Block" bubble instead of the link. Now I can't click the "Attach File" link in Gmail and I can't figure out how to unblock the link.

Try removing the ad blocking rule from Tools -> AdBlock Plus Preferences.

When clicking the Signature box in an interactive PDF form IE crashes.
When we click on the Signature box in an interactive PDF form loaded inside Internet Explorer, it will crash the browser with a message "Internet Explorer has stopped working."
We have tried:
-this on PDF forms created with Adobe Acrobat Professional X and XI
-loaded the forms on Windows 7 IE 8 and IE 9
-Adobe Reader X and XI
-loaded IE in no add-ons mode
and the issue still persists. We believe there is an issue with how Internet Explorer and Adobe are communicating but don't understand why clicking inside the Signature box, IE crashes? Any thoughts? Is this related to some kind of Windows update that is impacting the ability to sign PDFs when loaded inside IE browser?I will not be able to upload any forms as it is propietary information, but here are the steps taken to create the form using Adobe Acrobat Pro X or XI:
Open the PDF in Adobe Pro and click Tools.
In the Forms menu, click Edit.
Click Add New Field > Text Field.
Place the field on the document and edit the field name with the text [MAGICWORD]. This is a magic word that allows the signed form to be saved in the right location.
Click the All Properties link.
Change the Form Field from Visible to Hidden but Printable under Common Properties.
To add other visible magic word fields (optional), click Add New Field > Text Field.
Click Add New Field > Digital Signature.
Click Add New Field > Button.
Click the All Properties link.
Click the Actions tab.
Under Add an Action:
Select Trigger – Select Mouse Down.
Select Action – Select Submit a form.
Click Add.
Enter the URL:(https://anythingcangohere.com)
This enables the signed form to be submitted and saved in the right location.
Under Export Format, select PDF The complete document.
Click OK.
To add a label to the button, click the Options tab.
Label: – Enter Submit to athenaNet or Submit.

All of a sudden when i click any button or link a new window opens with an ad
I have used Firefox for about 7 years. No issues...
I recently installed Ghostery add on.
The only way to describe it is:
I go to a page..
Click a link (or close to it) or enter or any other button/link that would take me to what I expect..
BUT instead it opens a new tab to an advertisement site (quibids, P&G, many other random ads) - a few of them I blacklisted with BLOCKSITE (installed after the problem started happening) but several I can't because I would actually use them when I need to (ex: Vistaprint.com)
When I go back to the original site and click the same link and click it again it works as intended.
This happens across all sites that I am on...
It is like there is a hidden link within the one I am clicking on.
I have pop ups blocked in my browser but this gets around it somehow.
Since GHOSTERY installed, some sites do not work correctly. If I click on a picture, or something that I want to expand it is as if I am doing nothing at all because it won't complete the action, the functionality is broken.
I have white listed a couple sites but this is random and if I whitelist everything I come across then it opens me back to what I am trying to avoid..
EXAMPLES:
went on Heat.com, clicked the button to go to the White Hot Gear instead it opened a new tab brandonline.com
was on LinkedIn and hit the comment button on a thread, then it opened a new tab vistaprint.com
was on publix.com, hit the order refills button, then it opened a new tab premium-promos.net
did a google search clicked on the link I wanted, it opened a new tab premiumgiftrewards.net
EACH time I go back to the original site and click the same button/link/etc it takes me where expected.

However I can click anywhere on the page and an ad will pop up. I have eliminated all unwanted bars in Firefox, I ran Malwarebytes until it came out clean. I also have AVG which had detected a few items on it's own. But when I get into Firefox I still have exactly the same problem. Now it will not let me download Browser Safeguard. Usually after one click the pointer returns to normal for a few screens. When I try to click to download Browser Safeguard it keeps bringing up different ads or it tries to get me to upgrade Firefox or some other browser helper program which I know are all BS tactics to get me to load their junk again. PLease help I'm an engineer and pretty good with PCs but this one has me beat at least so far.

Edit the page where you added the portlets. Click the edit defaults link next to each of the portlets and scroll down to make sure the show Edit Link checkbox is checked. I don4t see any Edit Link checkbox when I edit the portlet's defaults!!

"The Page Cannot Be Displayed" error when clicking the Remote Agent
Hi everyone! We have installed ACS SE 4.0 and we have added a remote agent running on Windows Server 2003. Recently, we are encountering "The page cannot be displayed" error when we click the RA under a network device group. This is resolved by rebooting the ACS SE appliance and accessing the ACS SE web console again but after few hours, problem reoccurs. Clicking the links on the ACS SE web console is okay at first but after clicking the RA, every link shows the error "The page cannot be displayed." Hope you could help us on this problem. Anyone's support is very much appreciated.

About every two to three days, Time Machine will all of a sudden stop working. The backups hang after a small amount of data is backed up. In the Console logs, this error is reported: Metadata.framework [Error]: MDBackupIndexFile failed:-9400 (0) (os
