Clicks with firepod

I am hearing clicks with my firepod recording interface...can I eliminate the clicks?
It is not the metronome in GB!

Let me give a little more information...
I haven't recorded with the firepod quite yet. I just bought it and have been using it to monitor my itunes music while I am on my computer. Today I was hearing small little clicks while listening to music. I remember reading about these click noise before but I cannot seem to locate that thread now.
Hangtime...you have one right, have you experienced these noises?

  • No right click with evantech touchpad

I have a Samsung QX410 with a ETPS/2 Elantech ETF1059 Click-Pad touchpad (as reported in Xorg.0.log). I'm getting this to work using the psmouse-evantech driver in the AUR, which allows me to use the standard synaptics tools to configure the touchpad. For the most part, this works. However, the touchpad has two major issues that I can't seem to find a way around.
This touchpad has the two mouse buttons built into the actual surface of the touchpad, apparently like how macbooks are now.  So, the touchable surface of the touchpad extends over the buttons, which makes it impossible to click on the left mouse button and drag to select text with another finger - the touchpad thinks it is a two-finger scroll touch and doesn't do anything. I tried moving the AreaBottomEdge property in synaptics so as not to include the bottom area with the buttons, but that didn't solve it. This makes it effectively impossible for me to turn off tap to click (which I hate), and still be able to use the trackpad.
Second thing is that I can't get a right-click at all from the trackpad. Clicking on the right mouse button area of the trackpad seems to send a left click mouse event. Right now I'm emuating right-clicks with two-finger tap, whcih is also very annoying. I can't find a synaptics setting to make physical right-clicks work.

Hey there, I think this is an issue across multiple distros and not specific to Arch. I migrated over to Arch in the past month or so from Ubuntu. I experienced the exact same right-click issue that you did. Here's a related bug in Ubuntu that others mention similar issues https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour … bug/681904

  • Right-click with 2 fingers on Windows Vista taskbar and nothing appears

I just updated my Bootcamp to 2.1, I thought it would solve my problem
"Right-click with 2 fingers on Windows Vista taskbar and nothing appears" but I still have this problem, I cannot right-click on my windows vista at all.
though, right-click on the notification area works.
right-click = pressing the trackpad with 2 fingers.

Now I have figured out I have to use 3 fingers instead of 2 fingers.
but in the BootCamp Control Panel there is an option that says
    * Use 2 fingers for right-click

  • Photo clicked with flash does not give clear image

photo clicked with flash does not give clear image

I did some more testing with this, and it appears to be a Gmail problem with iOS iPhoto.
I called Apple support, and this issue was escalated to engeneering.
When sending photos from iPhoto for iOS via Gmail from the iOS device, only the small and medium sized photos can be opened in Mail on the iOS device.  The large and original photos do not open in Mail.
This occured across different devices I tested, including iPad 2, 3, and 2 separate iPhone 4S devices.  All were updated to the lastest firmware.  iPhoto was uninstalled, and reinstalled.
When sending and receiving photos from iPhoto for iOS via iCloud me.com email servers, all the photos of different sizes could be opened in Mail fine on the iOS devices.
It appears that Gmail servers somehow change the way the photos are encoded, and make them not viewable on the iOS device.  Very disappointing, since the native Mail program has no problem, and photos sent via gmail or other are fine.
    Another iPhoto for iOS glitch!

  • I don´t have mail to in my secondary menu (when I click with 2 fingers)

When I have an item in finder, and I click with 2 fingers, I don´t have the option to email.
    How can I fix this?

Downloading that huge file suggested offers little in help for your issue.
Are you using the beta version of FaceTime? Do you have a pirated "free" version of FaceTime?
Do you have other pirated apps on your Mac? Could any of these apps have originated in someone else's MAS account?
Many folks with this issue have one or more of the above situations going on with their Mac and that is why this is happening.

  • How do I double-click with a track-pad?

I'm new to Mac, and I just bought a beautiful new Apple MacBook laptop. I'm trying to install academic version of Adobe Photoshop 6 (this disk of software was originally made for PCs but I hear it's possible to make it work on a MacBook as well. My question is, how do I double-click with a track-pad, like in order to install new software from actual disks? I'm a multi-media artist and student, among other things. Thanks!
Apple MacBook   Mac OS X (10.4.4)

    Hi -
Double clicking is done by going to System Preferences/Keyboar and Mouse/Trackpad and then selecting the action you'd like.
However, PS 6 will be more of a task!
If it's a Windows disc then you'll need to install a Windows XP on your Macbook either through Parallels or Bootcamp.
Perhaps another 'Mac Friendly' graphics program might be more suiting if you'd like to stick in with the Mac OS X enviornment. Check out these apps....

    btw, Bootcamp is free!

  • Why can't I right click or click with my scroll wheel on Top Sites in Safari 8?

Why can't I right click or click with my scroll wheel on Top Sites in Safari 8 to open the selected website in new windows?  I was able to do that in the last version of Safari before upgrading to Yosemite and Safari 8.

Having to hold down the command key obviates the ease of use where I used to just click with my scroll wheel to open several of the Top Sites in new tabs.

  • Right Click with trackpad

Recently all Macbook and Macbook Pro users got the ability to do right clicking with the trackpad. This happened with the new OSX update.
My Powerbook is still like new and I am not ready to upgrade as yet but I would like this right clicking feature. I checked out iScroll but my 2005 Powerbook is no supported.
Does anyone have any know of any software that would help me to do this..Thanks..

Yes, SideTrack enables you to assign a right-click to the trackpad, a corner of the trackpad or to the trackpad button, and all using only one finger.

  • [SOLVED] Can't left-click with mouse (but I can on a tablet)

On a recent update, I noticed that my desktop would not detect my mouse's left-click.  It correctly detects middle-click and right-click, however.  On the other hand, I can left-click with a tablet.
How can I make it so that it will detect both the mouse and tablet's left-clicks?
I'm using evdev for the mouse, and linuxwacom-bamboo for tablet drivers.

  • Option click with mouse?

This is my last question for now. I'm playing an online puzzle challenge at Gold Rush. And for the puzzle for Mac users, you need to option click to alternate the puzzle pieces. How do you option click with the Mighty Mouse?

    Hi, Kirsten.
Same as with any other mouse: hold the Option key, then click with mouse button one, i.e. the same button you would use to perform a single click, usually the left mouse button if you've set up your mouse as right-handed.
    Good luck!

  • Unable to click with mouse after login to a specific account. Other account works

After a reboot of the pc I wasn't able to click with the mouse or get any response while doing so. The pointer changes to one-click mode when hovering over icons. Neither right or left click seems to work. Noticed that the sticky notes(which I have running
at startup) had the pointer flashing like it was ready to get text typed in. Tried to bring up task manager via ctrl-+alt+delete to shut procceses down, but couldn't get that running because of said problem with mouse.
Logged in to a different account and everything works. Created a new admin account and everything works. Disabled sticky notes at startup, ran latest updates from windows update and rebooted. No luck problem is the same for that one account. So, any suggestions?

    Hi,
from the symptoms in the user session i would guess this is an issue related to a key that is stuck or a problem with some driver. But the fact it works in another account ensures it is a problem in the userprofile. ther might be some executable launched
    that disturbes.
probably the easiest solution would be to create a new account and mover the userdata to the new profile.
but you should also be able to find the disturbing application by checking the startup locations, probably best with some tool like sysinternal's autoruns.
I would also recommend checking teh system for malware if it odly behaves like this.
