Client can not connect to Server installed window server 2008 and using 8.8
HI all!
I have a problem when Client log in to server that installed window server 2008.It can not connect to this server even when restart and key in IP or Server name,...
I try disable Firewall of window 2008 in server machine and client can connect to server. But when i disable firewall, it's mean i can not use Remote desktop or terminal service..
Now, how i can do in order to solve this problem.

Take a look at the admin guide (Page 75, 119, 159):

If you installed a firewall on the license service computer, make sure that the firewall is not set to port 30000; otherwise, the license service cannot work.
If you are using Port X, make sure that you open Port X and Port (X+1) in the firewall. For example, if you are using port 10000, make sure to also open port 10001.
The default communication port is 1143.
The default port of the SAP Business One license server is 30000 for license communication and 30001 for the license naming service

I am having problems eom to show reports in the BEA with Crystal Reports.
I use BEA WEBLOGIC PLATAFORM 8,1 for Linux with Crystal Reports XI.
I configured server BEA to initiate as a service in my Linux SUSE, and therefore I do not use myself in the graphical way.

May be this will help
1) Setting the DISPLAY variable using script or in cell by issuing,
setenv DISPLAY=<machine name>:0.0
or
export DISPLAY=<machine name>:0.0
where <machine name> is the IP or name of the machine that has a graphics server process running, like X11.
If you migrate your aplication to a different server, maybe the fonts put on the /fonts directory won't work fine...
Sample:
setenv DISPLAY=localhost:0.0 export DISPLAY
results in setting this variable for only that script process or for the cell with the local scope.
Use the xhost + command to make this variable to global scope with above.

Can not find "Work Folder" in windows server standard edition
Guys, I have a testing lab and all is working with the exception of the fact that I can not find "work Folder" to install it. I'm using windows server 2012 standard evaluation copy edition. Normally work folder should be under >file
and storage service>file and iSCSI services. However, it is not there. Can someone help please

Can not connect wireless through Bootcamp Windows XP to Timecapsule?
Any help would be appreciated.
I recently purchased an iMac with Leopard (10.5.2). Today, I used Bootcamp to install Windows XP with SP2. I created a FAT partition of 32 gigs and followed all of the steps (including installing drivers off of MAC OS installation disk 1 while on initial XP boot up).
My wireless network is on a Timecapsule and is "WPA Personal secured". The Mac OS detects the network and connects instantly, my work laptop PC detects the network and connects instantly. However, the newly installed XP detects the wireless network but will not connect. When I try to connect to the network, I receive an error message that basically states "unable to connect...". I do not even get to a screen that asks for me to enter a network key or password. When I try to connect to two other networks in the neighborhood, I at least get the network key screen.
I have gone into the Windows network tools and have tried to manually configure the connection, but I still get the same problem. I thought maybe I had "WPA2 Personal" enabled as the security setting for the network (XP does not support WPA2 out of the box) , but I have it as "WPA Personal".
Can't figure it out. I am new to Macs (about 1 month). The reason I switched was because I could run both Leopard and XP.

FYI
Even though my security settings on my Timecapsule are listed as "WPA Personal", my work PC Laptop kept detecting as "WPA2 Personal". I even removed all security settings from the Timecapsule and my laptop still detected as "WPA2".
I know that XP does not support WPA2 out of the box.
I hooked directly into the Timecapsule via an ethernet cable while in Windows environment. Thankfully, I was able to access the internet. I went to Microsoft and did a search for WPA2 patches for XP. Found one that allows XP wireless connection to WPA2. I installed the patch and was able to detect and connect wirelessly to Timecapsule from XP.
After two days, I have come to the firm believe (don't know the technical reasons why) that Timecapsule is a WPA2 device and that the XP patch is the only way to create initial connectivity. It is sort of ironic that although I wanted to connect wirelessly, I had to first connect via an ethernet hard connection.
Solve one problem, left with another. I have a Epson all-in-one scanner, printer, copier hooked to the Timecapsule. My iMac picks it up fine wirelessly but I am getting nothing on XP. Hopefully it is a simple driver download issue. -
Drive 2.1 can not connect to our cs3 versioncue server what do I need to use our projects in CS5?
Mac XServe is our CS3 server. Trying to upgrade to CS5 and found out Version Cue is no longer. Read and found the Drive 2.0. It can't seem to connect to my current server. We still have access with one of our CS3 machines. Is there a program I need to get to continue on with our versioning and the ability to use our projects we have? Or do I need to go into every project and export or something to be able to start using CS5? Thank you in advance for any help!!!

Hitting the Log Out button in the MobileMe panel worked. I can now connect to both the SnowLeopard and Lion servers just like I used to.
My condition appears to have been slightly different from yours, gmia - the MobileMe on my MBP had the correct info, but hose are not the credentials i use to remote to the two servers. I'm guessing that for some reason ScreenSharing began using my MobileMe credentials instead of what I had saved in the keychains.
Wonder if it had anything to do with the shutdown of the MM servers. That would be odd as using ones apple ID to log into a Mac remotely was new with Lion, and I had the same problem with our SnowLeopard server - which I remote into much more frequently.
Probably didn't hurt though to reboot the entire network... -

This is not a feature of iPhone. Bluetooth file transfer is not supported. Unless it's for the specific purpose of tethering, the iPhone will NOT connect to a computer via bluetooth.

Can not connect to a remote SSH server with my mac
Ok have tried 4 different applications, fetch , captain ftp, terminal, etc.
I am trying and connect to a friends ssh server to upload some file logs. I have the correct login/password, have tried both protocol 1 and 2. Port 22 is correct. I keep getting the error message

2nd, from a Terminal session use the command:
ssh -v -v -v [email protected]
The -v -v -v triplets will give you a wealth of ssh connection information. If you read through this carefully you may find the root cause of your problems (assuming the 1st step above doesn't yield results).
Another thing to consider, is that ssh will not make a connection to an account that it does not consider to be reasonably secure. This means that the home directory of the account and specific key subdirectories must have proper ownership and permissions, or ssh will not connect. The specific ownership and permissions needed and the files and directories checked are spelled out in the ssh man page

I can't in-game purchase the Mighty Eagle (same error popup as you) in the latest update of Angry Birds Seasons, either. I also upgraded the App tonight. But I suspect it might be a problem with the game update and not my phone, network, or the iTunes store as everything else is working fine, including direct connections to the iTunes store to make direct purchases.

How do I install windows on SSD and use HDD as data + program storage?
I just bought a 240 gb SSD drive, it's installed on my X220t laptop and now I'm about to install windows onto it. Before I do that, how do I make sure that I clean install windows 7 on my SSD drive, and have my current drive set as a backup drive for data/programs that I don't use much? Is it dffernet to install windows through parallels and use bootcamp ?????
I've used to bootcamp install windows , Can i use parallel to use it
If Parallels will run okay with Panther then you can install Windows into it. Parallels runs like a native Apple program on your desktop. Windows runs in Parallels the same as it would in Virtual PC. If you use bootcamp then you are setting up your Mac to dual boot Windows or the Mac OS. I have tried both and Parallels is way more convenient.

I installed Netweaver on a server which is already having ECC 6.0 which we are using on insctance 10 but i can work only one at a time if one is Up and running the other one should be down this is what am facing.
I have the developer trace log file. Pleaase see below and help me with this.Log below is for Netweaver that i installed and if ECC is UP it throws this in trace.

I suggest you decrease the parameter
es/initial_size_MB
to a value that both instances will fit into physical memory (so e. g. 4000). Then try to start both instances.

Suddenly can not connect to our Acitive Directory server.
ColdFusion code that was running fine this last Friday, for nearly two
years before then, is suddenly throwing this error today "Connection to
LDAP server failed". The Active Directory is up and responding to pings
and all normal windows logons are being preformed properly. But neither
ColdFusion nor my Softerra LDAP Browser can make a connection with
multiple user names.
Can anybody provide a short list of what could have been changed that
would of started this problem?The server was not responding to anything, accept pings, as best as we could tell.
Since this was affecting production applications, preventing empoyees from duing their work, the box was booted. The sys admin had to physically walk up to the server room as he could not even remote into the system.
I am now told that there are three active directory servers sharing the load in our organization. I'm guessing it is possible that the windows login operations where failing over to another of the trio. But that the CFML code, that is hard coded to a specific one of the AD servers, could not do this.
If this is a common set up, I have to research the details more, is there some way to tell ColdFusion to make to a connection to any of the three AD servers, whichever one is availaible. Or do I need to create my own fail over code using try-catch blocks, or some other exception handling choice. Basically code it to try server A, if that does not work, try server B, if still a problem try server C.
That later is not hard code to visualize, but it seems to be very dependant on the exact network configuration. Whereas, if there was some way to query all the available AD servers as a clustor, then I presume the network folks could swap servers into and out of the clustor without really affecting our code. That would by my hope anyway. -
