Client copy customizing data + master data

while i am performing client copy using SAP_UCUS,SAP_UCSV i used these two profiles but i am not getting  master data .Please help me out in this friends.

Hi Sridhar,
SAP_UCUS is the profile  which comes with client specific
customizing including auth.profile, the application data is
deleted and user data is retained.
SAP_CUSV is SAP_CUST with variants.
Go through the forum posts you may get more information....Also check the
existence of user master data in your client.Go through the [post|Client Copy for only SAP_CUST erasing master data of target client; .It might help you.

    hi friends,
we are going for SAP Re-Implementation.
we want client copy only with master data without having transactional data
Is it possible to copy the master data from production to production.
can we transfer the data using ALE/I DOCS...?
Is there is any standard BAPI  to transfer data across client....?
if there is any solution please give me guidance.
i have searched in SDN and SAP technical  but i can't find the proper solution.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Karunakar,
    1) Make a client copy ready 2) Use Idoc and moved the master data. I am not sure how much data it is.We did the same before.
    Check these links form Peter.

  • Client copy Only data

    Hi,
We have a copy of production client in Quality system.
This client copy was done few months back, can we update the client in quality with the data which was updated in production after the client copy.
Or will I have to do entire client copy again.
How much data will be copied in this is there any way to find.
    Thanks
    Parvez Khan.

    Parvez,
Goto SE38 and enter RSTABLESIZE then execute, there you select client XXX and select tables * then save it it will ask for variant. Give a variant name like var1, and description. agin save it.
Go to SM36 and create a new job(with some name) and select RSTABLESIZE in the next tabs select variant as var1. If you select new job to start immediately it will start immediately, you can check in SM37, after completion goto the corresponding spool request and in which you will find the size.

    Hari.

  • Client Copy (With Data/Cubes) Possible in BI 7.0?

    Hello,
I am a basis team member (newbie and still learning) for my company and have been asked to copy our development cubes/data to our sandbox environment. We are attempting to do this through a client copy. I am using SCC9 with the SAP_APPL profile, but afterwards I do not see the cubes or any of the infoproviders etc in RSA1 in the sandbox. Is there a post processing step that I need to carry out to have this content show up or is a client copy not possible? We are trying to avoid a system copy if at all possible. Thanks for any and all suggestions/comment/help. Don't worry, I will award points for helpful answers :).

  • How to Copy customizing data from one company code to another company code

    Hi
Big Boss opened a new company, we need to implement SAP system for this new company. this new company has same business with our one old company. so, we may almost use old the company customizing data for this new company. anybody can tell me how to copy the customizing data.
    Regads

    Hi, Paraschand G
Thank your very good solution as BC Sets. I had general knowledge on Rollout and BC Sets now.
How ever, I have a problem on creating my first BC Sets. Should I creat a BC Sets as my template via copy existing customizing data? I seen some existing BC Sets which arenot I want. We implemented big5 modules for some company codes. I want to copy one of them as my BC Sets template. I won't create it manually because I worried about I will miss some data if I select these data one by one. I cannot find out a Full-BC Sets template contains all customizing data. Could you please give me some guide. I cannot ensure my understanding of BC Sets. Please correct it if I have wrong idea.

  • Client copy,customer systems

The delivery class controls the transport of table data when installing or upgrading, in a client copy and when transporting between customer systems. The delivery class is also used in the extended table maintenance. what is client copy and customer systems?

    2 possibilities:
client export/import: tcode SCC8  (then important transport with STMS)
remote client copy: SCC9 (after creating RFC connection through SM59)

  • SRM 7.0 Copy customer data in follow on documents

    Dear Gurus,
I have same set of field extension in shopping cart and RFx. When I create an RFx from an SC, I want that the data filled in the custom fields in SC be copied to corresponding fields in RFx. How can i achieve this? Do i need to activate a BAdI?
    Regards
    Ali

One of the options you could attempt is the following:
Step 1: Enhance SC item and RFx item with separate sets of custom fields. Even though the fields might be the same, it would be much cleaner to have a separate set of names for the two business object types. This can be done in IMG (Transaction SPRO).
Step 2: Implement and activate BADI BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI for the follow-on RFx (BUS2200), in which the mapping of SC custom fields to the RFx ones are done, one by one.

  • SCM APO can we copy the data from client 001 to client 002???

    Hi Guru's
SCM APO can we copy the data from client 001 to client 002???
If it is possibulity please let me know?
    Regards,
    Sree

    Yes you can do.
    Tcode SCCL.
    Options :
When copying clients, you can select what you want to transfer from the source client to the target client:
User masters: You select this option, for example, if you want to give all users of an existing client the same authorizations in the target client.
Client-specific Customizing: You select this option, for example, if you want to set up a new client in an existing system.
    Client-specific Customizing and master/transaction data:
You select this option, for example, if you want to set up a test client that is identical to the production client (in the same system).
Client-specific and cross-client Customizing: You select this option, for example, if you want to set up a quality assurance system based on the production client of another system.
Client-specific and cross-client Customizing and master/transaction data: You select this option, for example, if you want to set up a test client based on the production client of another system.

  • Local Client Copy

Hello all, here's a quick question. I am requested to create a Sandbox Client in our Dev box. I already created an entry in TBDLS through SALE and also created an entry in T000 through SCC4. I logged into the target client and went to SCCL. I have done this many times but, no matter how many ever times I do this, I tend to confuse myself with the profiles. Which profile do I choose in SCCL for client copy. Basically, am I only populating the target client with Customizing data from the source client? Or am I also copy the application data. I believe, the normal practice is not to copy the User Master but, create them as we go based on the requirement. I would really appreciate if someone could throw some light on this. By the way, the source client from which the data is requested for the sandbox is a 'Customizing Client'. I think, I have only three options here (may be): SAP_CUST, SAP_CUSV, SAP_CUSX.
    Thank you.

    Hello,
Although your reference client is a customizing client only I recommend to use the SAP_ALL profile.
    Reason is simple.
Some of the so called pseudo customizing is stored in tables of type 'A' (application data).
Example : classification data, release strategy MM, ...
In case you use a SAP_CUST or another profile that only copies customizing data you will miss the pseudo customizing in your target client and you will need to redo it there.
    I hope this helps.
    Wim

    SAP_ALL All Client-Specific Data w/o Change Documents
SAP_APPL Customizing and Application Data w/o Change Docs
    SAP_APPX SAP_APPL w/o Authorization Profiles and Roles

Thanks in advance for your help!
    I would vote for:
SAP_UCSV Customizing, User Master Records and User Variants

    Hi,
SAP_CUSX would be better if you dont want the same user master data in both the clients otherwise you can go ahead with SAP_UCSV .

  • Regarding client copy and authorizations

    hi,
i had installed SAP BW 3.5 on my system.it is a fresh installation.now the probelm is that iam unable to open the administration workbench screen which is the most important of all the BW  screens available.when i type the relevant tcode , it is saying "screen cannot be opened on 000 client".so i created one more client 070 (by copying client). and when i log on using 070 client , it is saying you are not authorized to use that screen.
any suggestions?had i missed something in the installation?
    regards,
    ravi

    Hi Ravi,
The procedure to delete is as below.
    1.     Log on to the client to be deleted.
    2.     Execute SCC5.
    3.     Check the delete entry from T000.
    4.     Schedule in the ‘background’.
Since you said you have deleted already , may be you have not checked the delete entry fron table T000.
In this case Go to table T000 and delete the entries.
After that create a client as below.
A local client copy copies between clients within the same R/3 System.
Both a local and remote client copy must be initiated from the target client using the following steps:
    1.     To create an entry for the target client in the client maintenance table, choose SCC4
    2.     Log on to the target client as SAP* with the initial password PASS.
    3.     Perform the client copy using  SCCL.
    4.     Select the data to be copied using a profile.
    5.     Assign the source client for Customizing data, application data, and user master records.
    6.     Begin the client copy.
    7.     As copying is a lengthy process, use background processing.
    8.     To ensure data consistency, you may not logon to the target client during a client copy.
    9.     Lock the users in source client.

  • Client copying.

    Hi Gurus;
I want to copy a client which has every data except the master data.
which profile should i choose in this case during client copying.
The new client should have user, roles profiles customising changes of the source client but no master data.
    Please update.
    Thanks and regards

    Hello Sandeep,
SAP_APPL for Application data and customizing data
also SAP_USER for User master records and authorization profiles.
If you need to copy customizing data and user master records together u can use SAP_UCSV

    Torsten,
Are you doing a local client copy in a SCM System. I can see it fails & is looking for SCM specific fn modules & user exits.
If yes, has a look at this notes there are some steps that needs to be done for the transactional date:
894490 - Client copy: Transactional data
And re-post it in the SCM forum: SAP Advanced Planning & Optimization (SAP APO)

  • Client Copy and Partner Profiles

    Hi,
I have a doubt related to client copy and how it will affect the partner profiles.
We have a client which has quite a lot of partner profiles defined in it. Now the problem is that the Basis team is planning to perform periodic client copies on this System which will copy the data from another client say 010 to the client in discussion. My doubt is, when this happens what will happen to the partner profiles that are already there in the target? Will it be lost resulting in we creating it all over again? if so is there anyway to get around this issue?
I would appreciate any kind of input on this issue.
    Thanks
    Praveen

as far as i know a client copy is based on some parameter say it can be client copy based on master data, client copy based on application data etc. I guess partner profile is an application data so in tht case if client copy is done in its context no data will be lost.
just my thought, but please confirm on this with a BASIS team or try a post in the forum for Adminstration and BASIS.

  • Client Copy: copy only master data

    Hi!
Is it possible to copy only master data from e.g. client 100 to client 200?
If yes, which technical steps are necessary (tcode, etc.)?
Client 100 is the copy of client 200 without master data.
    Thank you,
    regards
    Thom

You can Copy all the customizing data from one client to another client using clent copy(SCC1). Ie, data stored in a customizing request.
