Hi,
What is the difference between client copy and system copy.
and when client copy is don eall the Logical system names are replcec with the new logical system name in SPRO-G/L Account setings.How to prevent the same.

This is Sanjeev.. I have created a new client(678) in IDES ECC6 and now i went inside the new client(678) with sap* user and tried to copy default profile sap_all from 001 client using local client copy. It results in error saying rfc source destination for 001 is to be given.. ?? i also have the doubt whether the 000 client should be copied instead of 001.what is the proper procedure in creating and copying defaults...?? Kindly state it in steps...

Confirm that client has received copy of form

My client has a Customer Agreement in a secure zone. After the customer submits the form, and my client receives a copy of that form, can that be taken as proof that their customer has also received a copy of the form?

That is the workflow notification. You can never 100% be sure a person has received an email or not. They could delete them by mistake, get into their spam folder, never come through to them, not be read by them, issue on the net so they never get it, they got it but say they have not....... List is big.
But BC sends out an auto responder unless you have turned that off and if you have left in the web form results tag then they will have received that email with that information.

How do I duplicate layers & groups without automatically adding a "copy", "copy 1", "copy #" at the end of the new group?
It's been pestering me for quite a while now, since I often work with the same elements over and over again. Its frustrating to have to change the name of each layer manually, especially if I'm copying a whole group.
Is there a setting in Photoshop or perhaps an external script that can help fix this for me?

There is no way to defeat this within the program itself. Here's the workaround:
Duplicate the file (from the Image menu).
Drag the Group or layers from the Layers list from the duplicate to the image window of the original , while holding down Shift.
That will make a "copyless" copy and reposition the copyed material in the exact same position it was on the original.

Yes. The easy way is to do this:
1) Go to System Preferences > App Store, and deselect the "Install OS X Updates" box.
2) Use App Store to download Yosemite
3) When the installer is downloaded and pops up, simply close the installer before starting the upgrade.
4) Look in "Applications" folder for the "Install Mac OS Yosemite" app.
5) Use Command-drag to copy that installer to a flash drive.
You can then copy that installer to any number of Macs that you want to install Yosemite on.
If you want a bootable flash drive then there are many articles on the Web describing how to create those as well.

CHARM and System Copy (Database Copy)

Dear All,
Does anyone have experience on managing System Copy (Database Copy) on the SAP Landscape which are implementing Centralize CHARM on Solution Manager?
<b><u>Case:</u></b>
Transport route : DEV --> QAS --> PRD
CHARM centralize managed in: SLM.
Now, QAS will be refreshed from PRD (by Database Copy) .
How to ensure the following will be kept consistence:
1. IMG Status on satelite systems
2. SMI Project data linked to satelite systems
3. Support Desk data (Support/notification messages, Business
Partner,iBase,etc) related with CHARM linked to satelite systems
4. Status of SMI Project cycle data linked to satelite systems
I have tried it on Simulation landscape, seems many manually steps need to be done (eg. Redo all RFC definitions to the refreshed system) and some of above data are inconsistence ..

Copy From / Copy To

Hi,
Is it possible to use Copy From / Copy To functionality for Add-on Screens?
For Example:
As of now, PO has a copy to for GR-PO, and GR-PO has a copy from for PO. I introduce a new screen for subcontracting DCs alone, for which I need to select a few PO and move the data to my DC screen. Can I add my screen name (DC) in Copy To Menu of PO? Similarly, is it possible to add the Copy From button to my screen, and add PO there?

you can create your own button for user screens, but the functionality behind
the "copy to/from" you have to program yourself ! there's no sap function that will copy the fields for your user form.

Copy or Copy Merged in an action

I made an action that begins by Copying Merged and pasting into a new file. But if the original file is already flattened, Photoshop stupidly gives me an error saying it can't copy merged. First of all, shame on Adobe for lazy coding; Copy Merged should simply Copy if there's only one layer. Second, is there any way to say in an action Copy or Copy Merged, as the case may be?

Copy merged only works when there are multiple layers and the selected layer is visible. It’s a little irritating I’ll agree, but not fatal.
Just make your action create a new layer before the “copy merged” and then delete the layer before it switches documents.
Easy workaround!

Accounting Revenue distribution not copied when copying a bill

Hello,
I'm trying to copy bills (copy single bill functionality) in PS 9.0. When I do this it only copies my account and alternate account and no other values (e.g. affiliate, project, etc.)
I'm sure I missed some set up but can't find which part.
Can somebody help me with this?

Assuming there are no customisations affecting the objects, I suggest you raise a service request with My Oracle Support.
PeopleBooks reads "The system copies all bill information—including any discounts, surcharges, notes, and accounting distributions, but excluding bill status and invoice date—to the new bill. The system creates the new bill with a status of NEW, with a blank invoice date, and with a current date bill added".
My experience is consistent with this information, so your situation is unusual and unexpected. I don't recall any specific setup or configuration that should affect this. I hope that helps.

Reading contents of floppy in client pc and copying them into webserver

i am stuck with the following problem.I am developing an application in jsp which has a module that will check the entire contents of a floppy drive in the client pc if it is present and copy the contents into a folder in the web server.I am not permitted to use the browse button ie file control according to suystem specification.
Anybody has any idea whether this can be done in a appllet or not .
I am totally stuck with this problem.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Restoring clients after homogeneous copy

I have a QAS system with three clients (100, 120 and 200).
I have a PRD system with just the client 100.
I was asked to perform an homogeneous copy from PRD to QAS, but to make sure clients 120 and 200 are not destroyed.
My question is:
Would a client export (SCC8) with profile SAP_RECO solve my problem?
I would first export both clients (120 and 200) with SAP_RECO, using the QAS system as the target, perform the copy, and then import the clients again through STMS. Would this work? Or is there any other way of doing this?

If your are performing the system copy from PRD to QAS its will be comes only 100 client.
for this kindly follow the steps
1. Before starting the system copy Export the QAS client 120 & 200.
2. Perform the system copy from PRD to QAS, & Post system copy activitys
3. Create the New clients in QAS system
4. Do the Import which you already performed

While copying a client, ie., the source client will be locked by the system automatically to prevent users to login. The lock will be reset once the copy is finished.

HP 4500 printer/copier/scanner - copier & scanner not working

I have an HP Envy 4500 printer/copier/scanner. When I attempt to copy or scan anything, the printer initially sounds like it is going to work, but the screen just reads "copying" and nothing happens. I then hit cancel and the screen reads "cancelling" and nothing happens. I have to turn off the printer and restart to print normally. How do I restore the copy & scanning functions???

I'm sorry to hear you've had issues using the scanner on your Envy 4500, but I will absolutely do my best to help out
I will suggest first that you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet to ensure the printer is getting enough power to function properly. Once that is done though, if you're still unable to copy I will suggest that you update the firmware on the printer, if an update is available. If your printer is connected to your wireless network, please follow this Getting the Latest Firmware and Printer Updates document to get the firmware updated. If you're connected to a computer via a USB cable, then please update via the following link: HP Envy 4500 series firmware update to improve printer performance.
If it doesn't allow you to update the firmware that usually indicates that everything is already up to date.
If the firmware also doesn't seem to change how the scanner functions, let me know and I will look into a reset for your Envy 4500.

Copy To / Copy Fom for Goods Receipt PO

Hi,
Im using SAP B1 2007A PL 46 with B1DE 2.0
Via code I need to create an AP Invoice based on a Goods Receipt PO. I can't seem to find a way to set the Base Document of the AP Invoice so that it is linked to the existing Goods Receipt PO.
The SAP B1 front end has Copy From and Copy To functionality that does just this.
How is done via the DI api? ( I DO NOT WANT TO USE THE UI API)

Hi Ben,
There is no method in the DI API that can generate a target document from a base document so you have to code it yourself. There are 2 options:
1) Export the base document as an XML string and then use XSLT to transform it to get the XML for the target document.
2) Create an instance of a PO object and another for the Goods Receipt. You can then copy the header properties from the PO to the Goods Receipt and loop through the lines child object of the PO to add rows to the goods receipt. If you use text or subtotal lines then you need to check for these as well on the PO and add then to the GRPO as needed.
In either case, you need to set the BaseType, BaseEntry and BaseLine properties of the goods receipt lines to link back to the correct line from the PO.
