Hi Gurus,
When I am copying from Prod. client 500 to Quality Client 400 in (ECC 6), I am getting
'Program ended with error or warning, return code: W"
can any body please give soultions for this

But in the middle it got failed in Quality system & given the error as mentioned below.

Hi,
Pleas make sure that the target and the source for the update rules are present in the Quality sytem and are activated. if they are not present or are in inactive state then u need to transport them first and later on update rules.
Sometimes what haapens is source and targets object for the update rules are present in the quality system and we make some changes in them in development and after making changes forget to transprt the changed request for source target and directly try to transport update rules which fails giveing an error. so jst make sure that the version in Development and the quality system for the both the source and targets objects are exactly same.
i guess there would be one among the two cases mentioned above but still if its not the case then see wat error are u getting provide us the exact error so that we can be of more help to you.

Local client copy with warnings and errors

Hi ,
I am doing a local client copy and is still running . There are a few large tables which have not been copied successfully and is shown under "Warnings and Error". The tables show "Program Cancel (See SM21)". In SM21 , I find the workprocess was disconnected from the database.
Now my questions is , once all the remaining tables complete , will I be given an option to repeat the copy for the failed tables only. The system is 6 TB and it is running for more than 15 days now.
Please suggest.

Traport importing problem with repeating return code error 8

Hi all,
We are facing some transport import problem.When we sent transport initially AAA900244,they faced with return code error 8 and syntax error 109.As the information provided by the client,one of the include program which is not availble at client system that was included in this transport.So that was the problem.Again we have taken new tranport AAA900247 without this include program then same type of error message they faced with return code error 8 and syntax error 109 in the include program when imported.
I have one doubt, when importing new transport this should overwrite the earlier transport data.Why the same type error client is getting.What might be the reason.
Is earlier transport imported?? Why it throwing same type error.What actually the fuctionality of Return code 8 whether it is imported or discarded.

That include is not at all required at client system.So next time when we have taken transport we have not included this include program.They imported new transport without this include program.But they are facing same error as they faced first time. What could be reason??

Restarting Client export which ended with return code 8.

I have performed an client export using SCC8 and the export ended with return code 8. stating the request cannot be imported. I have fixed the errors. Thanks for the reply, One of my colligue is telling no need of transport elements under the query. why means we copied (dev) one of our query and just changed the Variable to curent fiscalyear/period. now we to transport this query. My colligue is telling any way thos elements are there in old query , and telling no need to transport those. Is it correct or again we need to collect all those using elements in that query while transporting ?

How can I solve this problem?

        I am facing the problem with 0CM_CTAR and 0CM_SHAR. both the characteristics are not allowed compouding ATTRIBUTES.
0cm_ctar not allowed comp .attr of 0unit_dim
0cm_shar not allowed comp.attr 0f area_unit.
for this reason what i need to do. Please give me help on this.

a)If your system is UNIX check /usr/sap/trans is mounted or not?
b)After configuring TMS did you save and activate?that can be one reason.
c)tp might be corrupted.u need to upgrade your tp. (or you can upgrade to the latest kernel)

DB13 error -- Function DB6_PLAN_DELETE_BATCH failed with return code = Job

hello All,
when I try to delete or edit any DBA Job in transaction DB13 the following error is displayed:
An error occurred when processing system
Function DB6_PLAN_DELETE_BATCH failed with return code = Job error
How can I fix this error and delete or change my DBA jobs?
My syste is SAP ECC 6.0 SR3 - Solaris 10 - Oracle 10.2.0.4.0

I am trying to run a 3rd party software that access Oracle. I have set up the ODBC connections and tested the connections. They tested successfully. I was trying to transport a request which consists of four Cubes, Infosources, datasources, Update rules and communication structure from QA to Test. The transport went without any problems from Dev to QA. However, while transporting to Q, it finished with errors with return code 12 with the following error: I tried to import it thrice with no success
Program terminated (job: RDDEXECL, no.: 21120900)
I checked in SM37 and the background job for this transport gets terminated everytime with the following dump:

An exception occurred which is explained in detail below. The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_RSR_X_MESSAGE', was not caught and therefore caused a runtime error. The reason for the exception is: No text available for this exception
Does anyone has a clue about this?

Hi Rishi ,
The Issue may be with the buffer capacity while transporting .
As i see from the post that you have captured all the objects
in one request and sent to target system . As per my experience never include all the objects in one Request .
Try to separate them depending on the onject types ,i mean datasource , infosource , ODS & cube seperately .
IF you cannot solve the problem , i think it is better to create a new request as i said in Development and try to move them to production .If next time request fail then you can look at the only that particuler Request only .

Hi team,
I have issue with "SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR" Job .it has been Finished but in Job Log I get error as below:

I have alredy reschedule this Job in 000 with DDIC User.

Hello Vijay,
The "Database system not supported" error you see, suggests that your TCOLL table is not setup correctly. You probably have a report scheduled in your TCOLL which is for a different DB then the one you run.
If the collector canels all the time, then this is probably a report which is scheduled to run every hour in your TCOLL. If it only cancels sometimes, then it should be easier to identify which report is causing it in your TCOLL.
The bottom line is to ensure your TCOLL is setup correctly and that you are not running DB reports there that are for a different DB than the one you use. The SAP note you follow to setup your TCOLL table depends on your SAP system version:
12103 - Contents of the TCOLL table
970449 - Contents of TCOLL table in SAP_BASIS 640
966309 - Contents of table TCOLL in SAP_BASIS 700
966631 - Contents of TCOLL table in SAP_BASIS 710
