    Hi,
         Thanks for your input..
I have also opend the EAR as ZIP file and deleted the existing listing libaries
apart from the actual implementing Jar and META-INF folder.
I have tried deploying the Jar for the second time, it is throwing the same error.
What I did is...Once the EAR is created, I went to Resource perspective in NWDS and copied the EAR from the EAR project and used the same for deployment.
Is there is anything else to be modified or deleted before deployement?

  • Rich-client Java application that is client to WLS6.1 but behind corporate proxy server

We have a rich-client Java application that is a client to WLS6.1 that can't
connect to the WLS6.1 server when the client is behind a corporate proxy
server. What is a remedy for this?
    Thanks,
    Jim Weavere

Found solution. Followed Part 2 of the solution as explained in http://support.bea.com/application?namespace=askbea&origin=ask_bea_answer.jsp&event=link.view_answer_page_solution&answerpage=solution&page=wlw/S-19283.htm
What surprises me is that this solution to a common problem is hidden and hard
to find. If I am correct, no part of WLS 8.1 documentation suggests this. Rather
the doc says, set the system properties for the standard JDK 1.4 network properties
and it should work fine. If it is actually supposed to work like this, is it a
    bug then?

    Hi,
I have a web application deployed on WebLogic server 8.1 sp1. And my
    server is
behind a http proxy server. Now one of the components in the application
    makes
a web service call to a service located external to the system, and it
    always
throws "java.net.UnknownHostException". I have set the Java system properties
    http.proxyHost = my proxy server, http.proxySet = true and http.proxyPort
    = 80
and it still does not help.
If I try to evaluate the web service component as a stand alone client
    using WebLogic's
webserviceclient.jar, everything works fine. I can't figure what I have
    to do
to get this component working from within the WebLogic server. Can anybody
    provide
me with inputs, comments or suggestions.

  • Error invoking client Java Proxy

I have a scenario with Client Java Proxy in which a JSP gives call to the EJBs generated from the Message interface. Everything is deployed correctly and when I try to invoke the JSP, following error is reported in the defaultTrace file of J2EE engine.
    com.sap.aii.proxy.xiruntime.core.XmlLandscapeAccess.getJPRConfigurationFromSLD()
Error getting JPR configuration from SLD. Exception: entityNotFound#
I found pointers to SAP Note # 809420 as a result of SDN search.
    Has anybody faced similar situation?

    Stefan,
Things worked after the business system was created in SLD.
I dont see the radio buttons for rewarding points against your post. Will try later to reward points.

  • Calling the Client Java Proxy

    Hi,
I'm trying to create a client Java Proxy.
My source structure contains a node which is 0 - unbounded. The Scenario is working well with a single set of values ie if 1-1 . But when im trying to set the second value, the first value in the array is getting overlapped with the second value. The array contains two set of values. But both the same val (ie the second value ). Can anyone help me out in this concern???

Must be something related to your data filling logic. Check you are properly filling the structure. Also, check for the context changes if you have any in the source structure. Did you generate the proxy again after making your structures 0..unbounded?

  • Running client Java Proxy on PCK

I have deployed client java proxy on PCK server. I have got  an exception when I run this proxy.
<b>Delivery of the message to the application using connection AFW failed, due to: Couldn't find delivery channel for message.
    </b>
All needed system(receiver, and XI ), sender/receiver agreeement are created. And it forks for adapter configured for the same sender system.
What are your suggestion? What did I wrong?

The PCK is not designed to use Java Proxies.
For testing purposes you can maintain all required values in the file jpf.properties on the PCK installation.

  • Call Client Java Proxy from Server Java Proxy

    Hi Gurus!!
I'm trying to call a Client Java Proxy from a Server Java Proxy.
Is possible to do this? I think must be possible.
I have called this Client Java Proxy from another application, and run ok.

  • Forms Client Java Applet waiting several minutes

    Hello,
We use Forms 10.1.2.0 and html/javascript/plsql applications.
All forms applications are working but
we have the problem that from time to time the client java applet must wait minutes until there is an answer from the forms-servlet (especially when there is high activity in the system).
More than one user is working in the form with high activity - the applet sends a request
over the network - after 4 minutes the result is shown and you can go on working
    without problems.
So a lot of users think the application has crashed and terminate before.
The applet shows no error messages.
There is no sign that there is a lost connection between applet and servlet.
It is not reproducible. That means you can work 2 hours and everything is ok
or you work 5 minutes and you have to wait.
    network problems?
    firewall problems?
do requests of the forms servlet to the database have minor priority on the application server
    than html/plsql requests?
    any ideas?

when the problem occurs (user has to wait 3-4 minutes) we found in the log
3 heartbeats from the forms client within 2 seconds ?
after 3-4 minutes the forms client is ok (user can go on working)
and the pings are every 2 minutes (like it is expected).
The application.log file may contain duplicate posts requests with
identical pragma header numbers, indicating that the client
    is resending
requests due to network packet losses. Under normal circumstances,
only the last Post request, terminating a Forms session,
    should contain
    a duplicate pragma header number.
    ...a network problem ?
anyone else who had the same problem ?

    Hi,
Can u Please post the WSDL..here. I remember long back i resolved this kind of issue...when i was getting "*parameters is already defined in - - -*" while using ClientGen.
Once i will get the WSDL may be i can recall it...
If u have any problem in Posting the WSDL..in Forums .. then let me know I will send my E-Mail Address...
As far as i remember ..it usually happens when we Run ClientGen task of WLS81 ON the WebService/WSDL generated by WebLogic 9.x or Above. Please let me know if this is the Case with you as well... . I remember there is a Patch for it...for WLS8 ClientGen task...I dont remember the Patch Number Exactly.
    Just For testing:
Just Use WLS9.x ClientGen task On the Same WSDL
    <taskdef name="clientgen" classname="weblogic.wsee.tools.anttasks.ClientGenTask" />
I am sure you will not see this issue... because the issue is there only with WLS8 Clientgen...
    Thanks

  • Calling a perl programme from client java programme

    Hello
I have an application with client code in java. On server side resides perl script to which my client java is dealing with.
The server is linux debian distro while client is window.
In actual processing I am uploading file(with specific format) from my java client application to server.
After all the processing at server sideI am getting CVS file on my client machine. Now all this process is working smoothly except in following case.....
The above application is developed for japanese clients. So in this application the folder names containing the files on client machine are in japanese. Now there are some cases when the folder names contain the metacharacters for linux. In this case when I submit the whole path of file, I want to upload then due to this metacharacters I think the command for submitting the file to perl is not able to execute properly on the linux server machine. So in that case my application hangs.................
I am really looking for any solution for above problem...................
    Thanks in advance...........
    Pasi

    Convert what?Definitey I want to convert file/path
    name............................
If the file/path name then replace every character
(not byte) that has a value outside of the range of
valid characters. You can just abritrary choose a
range like [A-Za-z0-9_]. Replace each character
either with a underscore or an 'escaped' value like a
char whose hex value is c900 would produce a new value
of "_Zxc900"As you have written above I have to just find the
    characters outside
the valid range. But here the problem is when
I submit the file/path from java client programme to linux server
I am submitting it in japanese so at that time I am not able to
understand how to check the characters outside valid
    range.
Is the client in java. All strings in java are in unicode. So if you use toCharArray() you get a UTF16 representation. Any character above 128 is suspect. And some characters below 128 are suspect. The range I gave above is below 128 and can be used to filter for the others.
So while submitting the file/path to server do I have to first convert
it into server compatible charset. Then to check for
    unvalid characters....
    Is it the right procedure..................
Would you please elaborate on this issue...........
Hope this co-operation from you.Pseudo code
    - Use toCharArray()
    - For each char in the array.
---- Is it in the range? Then leave it.
---- Is it outside the range? Then convert it.
