Client PC access to forms app

Here's my problem...
This morning - no issues with PC's accessing forms app.
Windows auto-updates on the server take place.
Now client PC's are blocked from accessing the application - Page cannot be displayed message.
Windows has obviously updated some security/firewall setting on the server which has blocked client access. If anyone has any ideas as to what this may be I'd be forever grateful... The server firewall is set to off and the url is added to the trusted/local sites list in Explorer on the server.
Server is Windows 2003 R2 Standard Edition and Oracle Forms/Reports and database are all 10g R2.

I've added javaw.exe to the firewall exceptions list and added port 7778...
Still no joy in connecting... would you have any other ideas, ports that may need adding... or could you point me in the direction of un-doing the updates that have taken place...

Co-authors can edit the form design, options, responses, and summary report (everything that you can do).
Note:- They do not require a paid subscription to view the responses, free subscription users can become co-authors.

ERROR WHEN TRYING TO ACCESS A FORM FROM A SCHEMA OTHER THAN APPS.

We are having a archive schema and we want the same standard form to be used to point
to this scehma and get teh details of archive orders. what are the basic setups
that needs to be done to achieve this.
What are the basic grants and setups that we will have to provide
when we do this.
What we have tried is that the datagroup for the responisbility of the form is attached to the Custom schema.
But We are getting some errors.
Errors are given below are received when i click and try to access the form.
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist has been detected in FND_GLOBAL.Initialize
APP-FND-09126The Custom event WHEN-RESPONSIBILITY-CHANGED raised unhandled excpetion. ORA-04067: not excuted,stored procedure PUBLIC.FND_DEBUG does not exist.

Problem with Cyrstal Report viewer in a Windows Form App Franework 4.0

I appear to have a issue with Cyrstal Reports runt-time 13.0.2000.0 in a Windows 7 64 bit environment.
Crystal Report Viewer is not displaying the report but instead is displaying the logon screen with the database name missing.
1.) App is a .net windows form app using 4.0 framework compiled in the visual studio 2010.
Compile machine has the development evironment for crystal report 13.0.2000.0 loaded. Compiled for any CPU.
The Viewer is setup to access the report using oledb conection with sql server using SQL authentication.
The Viewer works great for all enviroments except for windows 7 64 bit.

Set your project for X64 only, and note for 32 bit OS then set it for x86. It's a MSIExec issue and not CR. If MSIExec detects a 64 bit OS but your app is using 32 bits then you'll run into distribution problems.
If you are using MS SQL Server 2008 then you have to install the Client Tools and select the SQL Native 10 driver. MS doesn't support MDAC DB drivers to MS 2008. Search MS's site for more info.
You also need to install the 64 bit Client Tools for this to work on a 64 bit OS's.
If you are using SQL 2005 then you have to use the MS OLE DB Provider for SQL Server, Cr doesn't support the Native driver for 2005.
I use this configuration all the time so it should work.
Also, are you using SP 1? The GAC Assembly version always stay the same, it's the dll version we need to know.

I am getting the following error when I tried to access the Transactions--> receipts--> 'return' from Inventory responsibilty in oracle apps R12.
'You are not set up as worker. To access this form you need to be a worker.'

Can't Edit Data in Access 2013 Web App

I have an Office 365 P1 account that I have been using to create apps in Access 2010. I tried Access 2013. But when I launch an app, it loads in my Office 365, but editing data is not enabled (the Add and Edit buttons are displayed, but not enabled).
I have tried creating a new custom web app with one simple table and a view, as well as creating one using a Microsoft pre-built template, and simply creating the app and launching it. In both cases, the app displays, but I cannot add or edit data.
Is there something with my Office 365 account that is limiting my ability to work with Access 2013 web apps?

In regarding of the issue, please provide us more information to assist you better.
What the file format is your Access 2007 file? MDB or ACCDB?
Where do you want to add the columns? Table, form or query?
As far as I know,
the limitation of columns in a table is 250. Thus, I suppose that the database had some hidden columns. Please try to check it. Steps:
Right-click any field title, then select Unhide Fields. A dialog box will appear. Click the check boxes of any fields you would like to be visible again, then click Close.

How do you access updates to apps from the App store after changing to a new ID because the password on the old ID was changed by the former husband and you don't know what it is now? And you set up your own new ID and account but can NOT access the updates, from the App store for the many apps that you already have, because they require that you sign in with that former now inaccessible ID and account and password? Call it a problem of modern times and changing relationships, if you want to be charitable.

So I guess it will only be new apps that I download that are allowed to give me their updates while 13 updates wait for me on an ID I can no longer access.

I have an external process(C) automatically inserting data into
Oracle8.0.5 database. On a before insert DB trigger I run another
C procedure to compare new insert to existing data.
If certain conditions are met, I need to notify any user of a
separate Forms5 app that these conditions exist. How can I
automatically communicate this information to Forms users?
I would appreciate any suggestions.

If I understood correctley, you are using forms bulider 5.0.
Then there is a trigger WHEN-TIMER-EXPIRED that can be used that
in certain time or timer go against DB and verify that logic has
been met and also a MESSAGE box can be added to your future.

Open Oracle Forms app from APEX

How can I open an Oracle Forms application from within APEX?
Right now, the Forms app is accessed simply through a Bookmarked hyperlink, so it seems to me I should be able to open a browser window and send it the same url from within APEX. Can someone provide all the details please? Thank You.

I don't know about Oracle Forms specifically... but you should be able to put a link to any arbitrary URL within your Apex application, and have the browser access that URL.
For instance, you can create a button and set that URL as the button's location, or create a Display-Only item with a default value set to a block of HTML including an <a href> tag.

I'm interested in learning more about Access Services. I undertand that Access Services forms, now called views, are based on HTML 5. Can we present an Access form/view in the browser that has conditional formatting like we're used to in InfoPath--the ability

Archived Invoices (on separate DB) need to be accessed via Oracle Apps

Hi there,
Our organization is currently on Apps 11.5.10.2 and have acquired a new company which has been moved onto Oracle. However this new company has lots of old invoices that we do not wish to migrate to Oracle as we wish to keep the Apps database lean and fast and this data is used very rarely.
Our plan is to move this data into a separate DB/ Warehouse and build a custom application (using Oracle Forms and Reports) to query the data and print reports.
However, we need to add some sort of link / menu item within Oracle Apps to call this new application when the user wishes to query this archived data.
Is this possible? If so, how can this be achieved? How do we create the link from Apps to another database?
Any help will be much appreciated?

I can't access my form

I created a form, posted it live and are getting responses. I viewed responses 2-3 weeks ago, but now logged in and get this error: "The document can't be found, or you don't have access to it." trying to access the same form. Please help. Need to get responses asap.
