Client receiving my email attachment is getting " Malformed Message"

I am on deadline and my client is getting some of the pdf attachments as 'malformed message'. I regularly build these files and send them this way and this has never occured before. They are on a PC. Any thoughts on this? It is being sent to another PC user just to test it. It has been very stormy today with the power flickering a bit and the internet service provider server has been very slow . . just for a bit of background.

Hi-Not sure how much help I can send without asking some other troubleshooting-type questions for you to think about.
Did your PC-test recipient get back to you?
How many PDF's are you attaching to this msg to your client? (How large is the email)
Can you zip (compress...however mac users do this...) multiple pdf's and attach those to your client? (cuts down on total size, and reduces chances of corruption en route)
And you say "some" of the pdf's. Some, as in.. separate emails? or as in one out of the several pdf's you attached in a single message...?
You are intermittently losing power at your location? Does your mac have some kind of uninterupptinble power supply? (how about the rest of the equipment that connects you to your internet, there in your building...?)
(If these are very large PDF's, you might want to consider a different delivery method, like put them on a website for your client to log into and download, FTP server....there are bewtter alternatives than email....but let's see if we can get this fixed first.)
Are you sure that the PDF(s) that youre attaching are really not corrupt?

Depending on the attachment I think you'll probably need to view and download the email on a computer - the iPad can be a little limited in what it can do with attachments.

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

An Exchange account is an e-mail account serviced my a Microsft Exchange server... Typically a corporate e-mail account. It used to be possible to configure a free gmail account as an Exchange account, but it is no longer possible to set one up that way.

The indication is there is still an error in the settings or the mailserver is down. Please go thru the troubleshooting steps in that thread.
BTW: I would just ask if you would try getting Thunderbird, set it up for the email address that you are having trouble with, and see if it works. Thunderbird will tell you right off if there is a problem. It will verify and check the address and the settings before you are even done with the setup. Windows Mail is what was with Vista but disappeared when Windows 7 made it's debut.

iPhoto Menu -> Prefences -> Accounts. Delete and recreate your email account.

If it is a POP account, there could be an issue with the outgoing server setting. It will not hurt to check this and make sure. Make sure that your username and password are in there.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.

could you please explain me, how can I process an email attachment, that comes into XI? My scenario is follows: I receive a mail with attachment into XI, search in attachment to which email this message should be forward and forward the modified message to receiver.
I' ve done successful the similar scenario with java mapping, where an incoming IDOC was parsed and mapped to mail message with attachment. Outgoing mail structure was in this case follows:

Now I try to repeat this, but I don't get such incoming structure from pipeline. I always see there two payloads: mailMessage and mailAttachment. Could anybody tell me, how have I to configure send channel to get such structure by receiving a mail into xi in xi payload? Is it possible? if no, than how can I handle with attachment of incoming mail message?

Try to do this:
Send an email to the email account configured in the mail sender adapter, but avoid XI to pick it up. Instead, downloaded with your mail client (webmail or something like outlook). There should be an option to see the mail in RAW format, with all headers and content, sometimes refered as "original message". And try to find the headers related to the attachment, like the ones below as stated in the blog. Maybe in your case the header is a different one and payloadswapbean should be configured differently. And also be sure that your attachment is already in XML, if not, XI will not be able to send it to the integration engine for mapping.

Have you tried deleting and readding the e-mail?
Yahoo has been doing upgrades for the past few weeks, causing random outages for users. Sometimes you just have to wait it out, other times removing and re entering the account info clears things up.

Suddenly I consistently receive 3 or more "Cannot Get Mail" messages but all messages are received

I have over a dozen email accounts on my iPhone, a mix of godaddy, gmail... imap and pop. All of them were working fine, and then last week I started getting "Cannot Get Mail" messages, 2 or 3 back-to-back, every time mail is retrieved.
The thing is, I am receiving all messages from all mail accounts, despite these messages. So I have no way of knowing which service they are a result of. I have gone into settings to each account and resaved it, to see if the validation would fail on any, but all are fine.

When I click on a link in an email I always get a message 'General failure URL :.... unable to find file' and seconds later the web address opens. Is there anyway to stop this?

We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
The reset link for the security question will send the email to your rescue email account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312 - that is the email account that you are checking, and you've checked the spam folder on it as well as the inbox, and tried clicking the reset link again ?
If you aren't receivineg the email then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to view your rescue email address to check that it's correct, in case you need to use it in the potential future use

Who is the email provider? Not all accounts can be set up as POP3

1. Tap Safari and attempt to load a webpage (try any webpage). If you can load a webpage, then your device has Internet access. If you are unable to load a webpage, follow these troubleshooting steps.

                    2. If your iOS device has an active cellular data plan, tap Settings > Wi-Fiand turn off Wi-Fi.
