Client Roaming Within Single WLC with Different AP Groups

I am trying to setup a 4400 WLC with 2 different AP Groups mapped to its respective Dynamic Interfaces / Vlans. AP's are equally mapped to both the AP groups by Floor wise ex: First floor AP's connect to one AP group and the Second Floor AP's connecting to other AP group.
Goal is to create separate Network policy for each Floor using ACL's and apply to their respective Vlans on Layer 3 Switch. Wireless Raoming should happen seamlessly between these Ap groups making the DHCP changes by not disconnecting and connecting every time user roam across the Floors.
Problem is When Clients Roam between Floors i,e moving between AP Groups, they still maintain their old DHCP IP addresses when moved to new AP group even after Client re-authetication. This defies our goal of creating a Wireless Network Policy using single WLC.
Knobs i have tuned in WLC to acheive our goal includes....
1. WLAN Session Timeout - No use
2. DHCP Proxy Disable - No Use
3. ARP Time out - No use
Looks like WLC is storing the IP address and MAC information of the Client unconditonally during roaming and clearing out untill a manual or forced disconnect or disassociation is done.
Did anyone tried to implement this setup and made it running? Any help or suggestion would be higly appreciated.

abit late for a reply but....try going to the SSID>Advanced and ticking the "DHCP Addr. Assignment" Required checkbox and test again.
What does the DHCP Required field under a WLAN signify?
A. DHCP Required is an option that can be enabled for a WLAN. It necessitates that all clients that associate to that particular WLAN obtain IP addresses through DHCP. Clients with static IP addresses are not allowed to associate to the WLAN. This option is found under the Advanced tab of a WLAN. WLC allows the traffic to/from a client only if its IP address is present in the MSCB table of the WLC. WLC records the IP address of a client during its DHCP Request or DHCP Renew. This requires that a client renews its IP address every time it re-associates to the WLC because every time the client disassociates as a part of its roam process or session timeout, its entry is erased from the MSCB table. The client must again re-authenticate and reassociate to the WLC, which again makes the client entry in the table.

WRP1 considering Articles with different Purchase group

are facing issue in WRP1 program, in production system one STO is created
for many articles with different purchase group with same site,
But
My understanding is that when replenishment happens, different STOs will
be created for different purchase group for same site and client is also
expecting same thing...
Issue
- In STO articles are belongs to same site but different purchase
group, in PO header its updated purchase group as 002 but if check line items
Articles are from many purchase group like, 001 , 002 , 003 etc....
When
in header its showing purchase group as 002 it should consider articles
with same purchase group but its combining all articles belongs to same site
irrespective of purchase group.

Hi Vinay,
It's standard system behaviour. PO group on header level is for reporting purposes, it's not scoping the allowed articles on the item lines. Therefore, WRP1 creates the STO with a mixture of articles of several purchase groups.
Perhaps this apporach might be feasible for your challenge:
- In stead of creating STO, create purchase requisition as follow on document from WRP1 processing (see Store Order Control in SPRO);
- after WRP1 processing, run ME59N (also possible in background) for the purch. reqs. created in WRP1 with the parameter 'Per purchasing group' (and perhaps also 'Per site'). This should result in STO's per site/purchase group.

Same Material with different itemcatagory groups

We have 3rd party manufacturers that make product for company and sometimes they send the finished product back to company and other times they will drop ship it to one of our customers.
this scenario we need to have the same material with different itemcatagory groups
i tried to create same material with different storage locations, but it's possible but the thing is when i change the item catagory group for the material , the same is applicable for 2nd same material, my requirement is i need 2 different itemcatagory for the same material, hope u understand my requirement
i will be expecting your possible replys.

Please explain it more clear manner..
With whatever i have understand, i think you scenerio is manual 3rd party order processing.
In that case the material that you normally deliver yourself but occasionally need to order from a third-party vendor, you can overwrite the item category during sales order processing.
Keep only one material and specify the item category group NORM in the material master.
If, as an exception, you use a third-party material, change the entry TAN to TAS in the ItCa field when processing the sales document. The item is then processed as third-party item.

Stock report for single material contains different material groups

Hi Experts,
              I have a scenario.I want to maintain material group for a material at the time of po creation.In next time i will maintain different material group for the same material.
               But I want to view the the stocks for material group wise which i entered in po.Is it possible to achieve this?

Please read the KBA document 2012912 - Changeablility of the field "material group" in purchasing documents
It clearly says that material group can't be changed in case you will use material master in purchase order.
So, it is clear that you can't use different material group for material master in purchase order.
For stock report, system will only show you the material group which is assigned to the material master (MARA-MATKL). System will not look into the purchase order section (like EKPO).

Multiple shapes on a single layer with different line-weights & colour fills

I'm just beginning with photoshop CS6 and I'm struggling with something in a project that should be simple
I need to draw a circle within a circle within a circle within a circle etc etc.
I need to give the circle lines different weights and colours and I need to change the colour of the fills between the lines.
Imagine if you will a diagram of the Earth's cross-section. That's roughly what I'm going for.
I don't want each circle on a different layer though, it would be way too hectic.
I can't figure out how to change the properties of one shape in the layer without changing all the others.
It's super frustrating.
Can anyone explain how to do this?

A shape is a vector path that defines the shape. The fill of that shape fills the entire layer and the vector mask asks like a cutter so you only see what is inside that mask. Since a single layer can have only a single color what you ask can not be done.
What you can do, when you are satisifed with the circles is to merge the layers into a single layer, then that layer will consist of only pixels and can then have multiple colors defining it. But do that as your final step, as once it is done, it is more difficult to edit it.
What is better is to group the shape layers to hide them or convert them into a smart object. It will look like a single layer, but at any time in the future including after closing the file, you double click on the thumbnail of that layer and view the individual layers to edit them.
There will come a time when you wish you could easily change a color to stroke thickness, even a year layer. Thats where the shape layers really shine. As they are non-destructive.

How to display multiple components in a single tabstrip with different tabs

I am working on PM UI development. We have created 5 webdynpro components and all have seperate application and link to run. Now we have requirement in which we should have a single window and all components should exist in different tabs.
Till now I have used Tabstrip in a single copmponent and have no idea how to fix this issue. Could you please help me out to get this done ASAP.

One option that you can try now is to create a new webdnpro component with a tabstrip.
1. To each of the tab area you attach view container.
2. In the used components of webdynpro component tab you can add each of the components that you created
3. Create inboud plugs for each of these application that you created.
4. When the tab is pressed trigger a call to the inbound plug of the applications

Multiple UWL for the single user with different Role

Dear SAP Gurs,
We have one critical requirement on the Universal worklist, as a functional requirement like some Approvers will play different roles as approver, needs to track saperately the approver inboxes for the same person.
For Example :
Approver A - is an Purchase Exicutive(Role)
Approver B - Is an Purchase Manager(Role)
Every time Apporver A has to access his approval requests seperately ( Belongs to Approver A) and take action, as well Approver A has to see Approver B's actions items seperatly and take action.
currently we have 4 levels available and single person has to take action on based on the 4 different Approves(Role)
Is there any work around for the abobe requirement.

i have try with below , can you please suggenst can be done by Virtual attributes.
Once data is comming in the UWL i will put 3 custome filters
We need to add a new column in UWL, which is present as a Table SWWORGTASK, in this we have to pass WI_ID and get ORG_OBJ populate it as a column in UWL.
Please suggent how can we impliment this ? do we needs to create virtual ttribute in the BOR from the same.

Can i do client export import between systems with different patch levels

we want to do a client export import between two systems. As I understand the patch levels should be the same in both for this to happen..
But right now I am in a situation where time is a big constrant. The basis patch level is on par. But the rest are not. Can I do client import successfully at this stage.

The only thing that may stop it working could be additional functionality between the systems.
I work on XI and there is a huge difference between SP12 and SP15. We were able to do the transports between systems, but as Dev was patched before QA, and the transport was reliant on standard settings not being available, it still went though, but we had to transport it again after applying SP15 to QA.
Again, it probably depends on what System you have running on Netweaver...

WLC Client Roaming Between APs

I have a single WLC with AP1231's. I have clients associating to one AP, but they are not always re-associating to an alternate AP as always desired when roaming to an alternate location. Is there a way to adjust how clients associate to an alternate AP based on better signal strength of a closer AP?

The best place to look for the commands, is in the command reference for your specific version as they do vary quite a bit from version to version.
There are also client settings on the adaptor which dictate how the client behaves, on the Intel client you can change the conditions which cause the client to roam, I am also assuming that you have good wireless coverage otherwise the clients will tend to stick to the one cell, there are various settings on the controller to adjust for performance and coverage, there is one setting which says it can adjust the power settings on the client, I would check the notebook supplied as I recently did worth with an IBM which required a patch.
On the Intel client under advance there is a setting called ?Roaming Aggressiveness?

BO xi 3.1 u2013 schedule a template for multiple reports with different column

I need to migrate the existing reports from SQL Server Reporting Services to BO, and the column order in the report is very important to the clients since clients have existing code to ingest these reports into their database. Now I want to schedule a single template with different parameters for all reports in BO, or create a single template with lot of parameters for all reports. My question is how I might use one template to create multiple reports with different column orders in the reports?
For example, client A has the following column order in their report: firstName, LastName, DateBirth, SSN. Client B has the following column order in their report: SSN, DateBirth, LastName, FirstName. Can I use one template to create these multiple reports?

The only approach I can think of is to create a template report which uses variables
For each column you would need to variable
v_columnAName and v_columnAValue
v_columnAName would have a if statement in it
=if([client]="clientA" or [client]="clientC";NameOf([firstName]);if([client]="clientB";NameOf([SSN]);NameOf([lastName]));
v_columnA would have a if statement in it
=if([client]="clientA" or [client]="clientC";[firstName];if([client]="clientB";[SSN],[lastName]));
This would only work when you had a small set of clients.
This might be more managable if it was done in the universe

Creating Cells with differing heights in Numbers '09

In any given Row is it possible to have different cells with different heights because I've found that if I set the cell height to be e.g. 1cm then all the cells in the whole row are 1cm which isn't always the desired effect.

A Row is a unit with a singular height value. All cells in that row will have the same height in a Numbers Table. Adjacent rows can be made to appear to have cells with differing heights by manipulating the Cell Border characteristics. You also have the option to combine individual tables in such a way that they appear to be a single table with different row heights.
