Client Status variations between clients

When running transaction QS41 in QA the message 'Client 211 has status 'not modifiable' is received, however in the production system changes can be made directly using QS41. I've checked the settings in SCC4 and they are identical. Can anyone suggest why the clients differ please?

Further to Add,
This can be due to the custom setting of Customising Obj.
Check in following Way,
GO to SPRO -> find the node for Catalogue Main. -> select the node and check the IMG activity.
You may see the Customisation objects, which should be V_QPGR_CL.
This may be defined as "current setting" this may allow to maintain in Production for transaction QS41, and behave differently due to settings defined here.
Please also check with the Functional Guys to confirm why this is behaving this way as there may be requirement from Business process point of view.

I am struggling with color variation between different documents in AI. Even when both documents have been assigned the Adobe 1998 RGB color space, and colors are identically called out in RGB, my output varies between the documents. This is difficult as when I do color management is a "swatch" document to get my client approval, then insert that color into a different document, it changes. Any input?

We are using the Latest CC version on the latest MAC OS. We use a third party RIP to drive our digital printing working in the RGB space.
It just appears the color space gets duller or more vibrant depending on which "setting" is embedded at the creation of the document- which seems to be the same for all docs - Adobe RGB 1998, yet is not yielding consistent results from file to file.

Status Sync between Portfolio Item and Initiative doesn't work!!

Hi,
Does any body have a procedure to synchronize the status between Portfolio Item and Initiative.
i have done all the configurations, but still sync Item -->initiative not happening but working fine with in Reverse direction Initiative --> item.
My requirement is to have status Sync from Item to Initiative.
You can take an Example: REL from Item --> Initiative and send it across.
correct answer will definately get rewarded...
We are on PPM 5.0 SP level 6.

Loading variations between T1 and DSL

When I test my website using the simulate download I get
different results for T1 and DSL. T1 loads the site perfectly,
however DSL skips certain components.

My client says that they experience this error after clearing
their cache when using Safari, however upon refreshing the page the
site works fine.
My layers are structured with functions and actions on top.
The movie is set to load bottom up. I've tried numerous adjustments
to the layers as well as the code, however I have had no luck
whatsoever. If anyone cares to take a moment to look at the flash
source I will gladly provide it. Thank you.

I read the article and it was of some help. Reference TCP/IP control panel settings. I called Commspeed support and they gave me their three current DNS numbers. I typed them per article and nothing - dead. Called them back and they gave me the typical winbox answers "No hable apple" so left to my own devices and considering the stratigies suggested in the article I did two things.
I opened the TCP/IP control panel and deleted the Name Server Address - As they are supposed to be assigned by the server. There was also a check box that said use 802.3 which was checked. I unchecked it and tried the internet. Blam it was right there. I don't know which stratigy worked as I did them simultaneously.
Still don't know about upgrading to 9.2.

Activity System status: differences between u0093Openu0094 and u0093In processu0094 status

Dear Experts,
Whats the difference between Open and In process system status? In help.sap.com it: There are four system statuses that represent the life cycle of the business transaction:
Open: has been recently created and not yet processed (for example, contract from the Internet)
In process: administrator is clearing up questions
But, how does the system assumes the In Process status ?? Ive tested business activities creation with different employees assigned and, when editing and saving the business activities with these BPs the system status does not change.
However, in other unknown situations the status system is changed to in Process.
Any ideas about the meaning of the In Process status? And when the business activity switches to that?

Hi,
These four system statuses that represent the life cycle of the business transaction:
·        Open: has been recently created and not yet processed (for example, contract from the Internet)
·        In process: administrator is clearing up questions
·        Released: contract is complete and legal. Follow-up processes can be started (printing, billing, distribution, releases and so on)
·        Completed: All actions directly linked to contract are completed
·        Closed: all actions indirectly linked to the contract are closed (for example, from R/3: batch run to actual costs)
Each status having its own control at the configuration level. If you observe the following process you may understand the importance of various statuses.
For example in any transaction by default status would be Open. Once the transaction opened by the respective responsible person he will change the status as In Process, Once the assigned task is completed he will change the status as Completed.
Please notice the configuration settings in the following navigation path:
SPRO->IMG->CRM->Transactions->Basic Functions->Status Management-> Change Status Profile for User Status->Select Quotation->Double click on the different status. You can observe the difference.

3GS doesnt recognise sim. Status switches between 'no sim' or 'searching' ? If it does find the network it only keeps it for a minute or two. Please any suggestions welcome.

Field Status review between Dev and Prod.

Hello All,
During solving one of the ticket, I found that there are some difference in selection of some of fields as suppress,optional and compulsory for account groups with screen layout (customers) - (T. Code - OBD2) between Development and Production server. Now I would like to test for all account groups between Prod and Development.It is taking lot of time to see screen by screen.
Can any body throw some light on this regarding any alternative way or can we download table information ?

Execute
Do same in both systems and compare.
Once you identified differences go back into the transaction as mentioned - OBD2- for detail analysis.

User status linking between wbs and network

Dear All,
I got one requirement in which i am using user status at wbs level to block all the transactions. Now the problem which i am getting is that even though i am maintaining the user status at wbs level, users are able to post the data on network activities. If i am maintaining the user status at activity level than i am able to stop the same.
Kindly suggest cant we maintain user status at wbs level and stop fi posting at activity level. Is there any way to achieve this.

Getting Changed [Status] rows between multiple rows in SQL Server 2012 based on MonthYear Field

I am trying create Stored Proc which takes 2 inputs from user @PreviousMonthYear,@CurrentMonthYear
Below is my table schema.[TableIPPortStatus]
Such 1000's of rows will be available in TableIPPortStatus for every IP Port combination for every Scan. Stored Proc will take input as @PreviousMonthYear = 'Jan-2013' and @CurrentMonthYear = 'Feb-2013'
Expected stored proc o/p is to get changed status in @CurrentMonthYear rows compared with the same IP/Port combination from @PreviousMonthYear rows. so for for above e.g. expecting to get below result.
Since in Scan 2222 Port 80 of IP 1.0.0.0 got closed & Port 80 of IP 1.0.0.1 got open and for 1.0.0.2 status was unchanged.
Also, if any new IPPort combination is added in Feb-2013 that needs to make available in the output.
Please suggest way to accomplish this in SQL. Thanks in Advance!

IPod shuffle software update status different between users

With User 1, iTunes 7.0.2 says my 2G iPod shuffle is up to date (software version: 1.0). If I switch to User 2 and plug the same iPod shuffle into the dock, then iTunes says there's an iPod sofware update available (version 1.0.1). I decline the offer to update. Going back to User 1, no update is suggested (version 1.0 is current).
Why does iTunes report a different software update status depending on which user is active? I don't think there's a software version 1.0.1 for the 2G iPod shuffle.
There is no ~/Library/iTunes/iPod Software Updates/ folder for either user.

Summary: on the Summary tab, click Restore (will pop up a confirmation dialog), then Cancel, and the Update button then indicate version 1.0.1 for User 1. Then click Update. iTunes did the update, no muss, no fuss.

Color variations between AI CS2 and Photoshop

I'm new here and really don't know technical terms for what I'm trying to explain, so please forgive the gibberish. I have an Illustrator CS2 file that someone is printing for me using Photoshop. When he opens the file the colors I selected in Illustrator all change slightly and look much duller when printed.
Is there a way to maintain color accuracy between the two applications? If so, how would I go about changing the colors in my existing artwork? Thank you!

Here are the scopes. All I'm doing to get the change is sending it to AE. No changes elsewhere. Just that simple send to AE and it starts playing with the colours.
I have also noticed that when I reload my projects a lot of the time I have to re-render the entire film. I did update the Adobe software when it became available.

Working on Ecc6.0 there is a functionality to define tolerance between PO and PR prices under below path
go through-->SPRO-> MM-->Purchasing>PR>Tolerance Limits---->Define Tolerance keys and set tolerance limits for price variance.
In help of this node , it is written that we need to assign tolerance Key to PR doc type , WONDERING what the path for this assignment.
IN PR document type there is no field to attach tolerance key.

Mirror Status Changes Between Folders

I'm using Entourage (I know, I know) and have a couple IMAP accounts. I created a rule that copies every new message from those accounts to my computer's inbox. I want to create another rule or find a script that will cause changes I make to message status in local inbox to be reflected in IMAP inbox. Primarily when I mark the copied message as "read" in my computer's inbox I'd like the original message (in the IMAP inbox) to be marked as "read" too without having to go and do it manually. Is this possible? I know I can have the rule mark the message as "read" when it copies it over: that's OK but less than ideal.

i don t c any other option than having two different conditions (one for ONE release man, and the other for TWO release man) on the same staus: E0004.
In both conditions ABAP you will check whether you have ONE or TWO Release Manager. If the result of your check is OK according to condition - meaning if there is 2 rel man in ticket and your condition is for one 1 rel man than just exit and let Solman run the other check ! Otherwise if Check corresponds to Ticket (2 rel man in both for ex) then run your normal check !!
For example in socm checkconition you will have
E0004 ZCHECK_BP_FILLED_1_RELMAN Abort E0001
E0004 ZCHECK_BP_FILLED_2_RELMAN Abort E0002
In ZCHECK_BP_FILLED_1_RELMAN you ll add a couple of lines to check whether you have ONLY ONE Rel Man. etc
After to suggest to RelMan adding Missing BP you can use inside of your check before exiting a modul function like "BP_POPUP_DIALOG"
