Hi Experts,
Can anyone please answer to my below mwntioned queries:
1)While setting up Middleware Configurtion why do we create RFCUSER, Replication and re-alignent destination for Client000.
2)Also why do we define Logical system for R/3 system in CRM as we are not using that system anywhere

When you do a TDSHL process to create a shell system from a source system then all the SAP components along with all the SPs and note implementations are also copied to the shell system.
The same happens in two steps -
All the objects are copied as part of the system copy export and import step with shell.
All the SAP delivered customizings are copied when you do a copy of client 000 from source to shell.
So the shell system is exactly in sync with the source system as far as TDMS add-ons are considered, you just need to apply an SAP system licennse to the Shell system and then continue with executing TDMS data transfer packages.

Hi
I have installed SAP Netweaver2004s but I am restricted to 000 for BW . I have create 2 more clients but system does not allow me to run RSA1 other than Client000.
Please Tell me the detail of SAP NTWeaver2004s regardingf BW .
Does it me to say that we dont need a separate BW server and all the functionalitties is available uin Client000. What are the prerequisites to start work in client000

001 - Test Purpose

HCM Data Scrambling

Hi,
I am having some trouble with HCM Data scambling. I have copied the templates from client000 as per the TDMS Operations Guide and am using the HCM_DE_Germany scrambling group with the HCM_DE_Name scrambling set only. I have removed the condition set for Mann/Frau as I am not bothered about assigning differemt names for male/female.
The scramble kind of works, the last name and first name are scrambled however the ENAME and SNAME does not get changed.
I have not changed the field set for either first name or last name, so it still includes the default :
PA0001-ENAME->TRANSLATE & TO UPPER CASE
PA0001-SNAME->TRANSLATE & TO UPPER CASE
CONCATENATE & OUT INTO & SEPARATED BY SPACE
Can anyone offer any help ?

Hi Craig,
Techincally speaking removal of condition Set will not have any affect in Scrambling ENAME and SNAME.
Since you say you not changed the standard field-set, Its better to raise a OSS message regading the same. And your Problem will be solved as soon as possible.

Employment Verification

Can somebody tell me how this "Employement Verification"serivce under the "benefits and Payment" workset, works.
I heard that if the employee selects the option "send by fax" it directly goes to the recipient i.e to the fax number, which the employee provides in the intial screen.
My question is "how will the recipient know the information is genuine?". will the data be sent on company's letter head or something like that.In which format will the recipient see the data?

I have been through this service in great detail. Sooooo what happens is...
The service/application kicks off a standard workflow WS01000045. You "can" implement a BADI (HRPADUS_EMPSAL_0001) per note 0001146756 to use your own workflow, however you don't have to get to fancy with this.
The standard workflow simply collects all the Employee's information. It then looks at their option....mail or print....and routes it accordingly.
The DEFAULT agent determination is set to route this to the Employee's HR Admin who will either print and "snail" mail the form or fax it per a workflow task for them.
Behind the scenes, all that is being done is the information that is collected for the employee is merged into a "standard text" called HR_SALARY_EMPLOYMENTVERIFICATION (which resides in client000 but you may copy as a Z-version and modify as you like). In that standard text are several "placeholders" which happen to match the name of context nodes for that task that hold all the employee collected data. The methods of the task simply act based on the communication type chosen...REPLACEANDSEND (ie fax) or REPLACEANDPRINT(ie. print/mail).....they replace all occurcences of the "placeholders" with the actual context values. Pretty simpl. THIS is where the "form" actually is that many people get hung up looking for.
Now, as said, the standard workflow puts these as items for the HR Admin. However, you can do some things here (and these are noted in the documentation for this service).
1. You could change the "agent determination" to be "user" for the "print"/mail option....this would pass the item to the employee and allow them to print the form themselves (however, this leaves it open for manipulation as well)
2. You can set the TASK for the fax step to be a "background process". This will make it fax AUTOMATICALLY without the HR Admin's interaction.

iam having an ides server v4.7EE, in which client 000 and client 800 is available. taxinj and taxinn is available in client000 but client 800 doesn't have these tax procedures. how can i make the configuration of CIN in client 800? is it possible to copy these procedures from client 000 to client800? is there any other way for me to go ahead and configure cin?

Local client copy and Internet

Hi guys,
When i try to do a client copy for my new created client..i get an error SAP* does not exist.
SCCL->SAP_CUST-> client000->sechdule background -> client copy vertification->background Print parameter option comes .. i dnt have any printer connected but if i select a default LP01 its gives an error SAP* does not exist.
Second issue is after installing SAP ecc6 i m not able to connect to internet from the OS( 2003 server) i removed the enhaced security feature but of no use.. i tried changin setting in Internet option but could not connect.

I suggest that you read the manual carefully. There are many tipps to improve performance (parallel processes) and tipps and tricks to avoid problems. If you need some notes, they are adviced there.
