"Clip's Media Files are Not Currently Available" Alert Message

I am making an video project for school and so I put the video clips (JPEG) into my iPhoto Library and I put them together as a project. A few days later I went back to work on the project and I'm getting an alert symbol on the video clips that says "This clips media files are not currently available" when I hover over it. Does anyone know why?
Also, I need to export the project as an AVI or MPEG file and when I click 'Export Using Quicktime' an error message pops up that says "Missing Media... The following Event used in this project is not currently available: iPhoto Videos - English Video Poetry Project - The portions of the project which reference this Event will show black frames." Is this because of the alert that says my media files are not available?
Thank you!

This happens if you either delete your original films or rename the event in iPhoto. If you deleted the original film, you're stuck. If you just renamed it in iPhoto, the fix is simple: quit iMovie, rename the album in iPhoto back to whatever it was (whatever it says in the error message - in your case "English Video Poetry Project") then open iMovie. It should now be ok, and while iMovie is open, you can rename your album (in iPhoto) to whatever you like.
Note: if you rename your album, iMovie will cope but won't automatically save the change, so it will break next time you load it. To fix that, make some small change to the movie. Exporting it might work, haven't tried.

After moving iPhoto's folder to an external hard drive to save space, the iPhoto media files that are part of an iMovie project are no longer available when trying to play the project. They are still visible in the project window, albeit with an exclamation point inside a yellow triangle stating that the files are no longer available. I did allow the thumbnails to be re-generated after opening iMovie and thought that this would restore links to all relocated files.
My 13 year-old daughter is now very unhappy after I successfully destroyed her first iMovie project.

After moving iPhoto's folder to an external hard drive to save space, the iPhoto media files that are part of an iMovie project are no longer available when trying to play the project.
iMovie '08 uses "absolute" addressing when storing the path information so this message refers to the fact that your iMovie '08 project can no longer "see" the original files. To avoid this problem, move iPhoto library and/or change iPhoto event or file names BEFORE adding the content to an iMovie '08 project. Once added to a project DO NOT MOVE any source content or change any name/part of the file path.
They are still visible in the project window, albeit with an exclamation point inside a yellow triangle stating that the files are no longer available.
Scaled copies of the original images are stored in the named_Project packacge as individual frames of an MOV file called "Still Images." These images are still available for display in your project.

  • "This clips media files are not currently available" warning sign

I got this yellow warning sign on my project. The clips were visable below so I don't understand why it shut down. Once it got to the warning sign then the video just went black but kept running. I ended up just making a new project since it was a presentation that was needed immediately. It still says this about the project - 2 weeks later... I don't get it?
Is my computer just too slow? I only had 1GB or RAM at the time, since then I bumped up to 3, the max for my old macbook pro

Check below the message. It will show you the path to the missing clip. I'm betting the drive name is different. I'm betting you use TimeMachine back up. The reason I say this is because I use Time Machine for back ups. And my missing media files show a path like "HARDDRIVE 10/iMovie Events/file name" Problem is my external drive is named "HARDDRIVE". I have no idea where the "10" came from in the name. I spotlight search the HARDDRIVE 10 and it goes to the correct drive. I believe Time Machine's back up system is screwing with the directory paths of the working files. I have stopped using Time Machine.
I do not know HOW TO RELINK missing media files. ANY ONE?? HELP US!!!

I've tried deleting and reinstalling CS2. I've tried removing my preferences. Neither have worked.  I am close to just resorting to Apple's Pages for my layout design.  If anyone can give some fixes here, I would really appreciate it.
    Thank you!

Verify that you are running ID CS2, InDesign version 4.x.  What level are you patched to from the InDesign>About InDesign drop down splash screen?
The message alerts to files being version 2.0.x? that is 2 versions back, are these old files?
Can you create, open, edit, save new files?

  • Following Media Files Are Not Optimized For Final Cut Pro

I'm sure you've seen this before and I've tried to search for a thread on it here and fell asleep, so sorry if this is a repeat.
I have edited projects in Premiere Pro (on my PC) and I have tried to transfer them in FCP. It worked with the exception of two things:
    1. the error message, "Following Media Files Are Not Optimized For Final Cut Pro"
    2. the quality *****! watching it on the playback in FCP it looks great, but then when I burn it to Disc it's pixelated in spots and generally has a lower quality picture.
I know that it's Standard Def. and can't expect the best, but I've done it before (once or twice) and it didn't seem this bad.
Can someone suggest anything to help the quality? Should I run my AVIs through MPEG Steamclip to make it a QT file and if so what is the best format in that since there are many to choose from and most I'm not familiar with?
    Thank you,
    Crayton

I did compress them to DV NTSC then burned it to DVD and the result was no bueno.
I thought what I would do is try compressing them again before I send them on over to DVDSPRO. Here is a simplified break down of the situation:
    - I have edited the raw footage in Premiere Pro on my PC. They were recorded and captured as SD.
    - I rendered them in Premiere, then transfered the rendered AVI file to FCP.
    - When went to place the files in FCP, I received the warning message; "Following Media Files Are Not Optimized For Final Cut Pro" but I went forward anyways and it allowed me to do so.
    - Originally I went ahead and compressed them from FCP to QT Movie as a DV NTSC, which ended up poorly.
    - Therefore my question is, should I compress them using another file type (other then DV NTSC)? Which leads me to another program that I have called MPEG Streamclip, which offers tons of file types of which I am unfamiliar with most. I want the best quality of course but don't know what file type is the highest going from AVI to a format that can be accepted by FCP and ultimately DVDSPRO. Keeping in mind that I only have FCP5 and do not have Prores.
    Did that make sense?
    Thank you again,
    Crayton

  • Exchange Web Services are not currently available for this request because none of the Client Access Servers in the destination site could process the request.

    Hi,
I am using EWS Java APIs and passing OAuth tokens to fetch data from office 365 mailboxes.
Because I am developing Web APIs I preferred using "Application Permissions" defined in Azure active directory application for Office 365, and used "client credential flow" OAuth flow to fetch OAuth token specific to application which will
allow "Have full access via EWS to all mailboxes in the organisation".
After fetching token with the procedure specified in the document "http://blogs.msdn.com/b/exchangedev/archive/2015/01/21/building-demon-or-service-apps-with-office-365-mail-calendar-and-contacts-apis-oauth2-client-credential-flow.aspx"
I passed this token to EWS Java APIs,
    it gave me error saying:
microsoft.exchange.webservices.data.ServiceResponseException: Exchange Web Services are not currently available for this request because none of the Client Access Servers in the destination site could process the request.
I tried similar thing with EWS managed APIs for .net. Got similar error.
Can anyone provide some help and direction to resolve this error.
    Thanks & Best Regards,
    Pranjal

  • Media files are not fully loaded when Premier Pro CC project is launched

I'm working on a project for more than a month and my Premier Pro(PP) CC was working fine until yesterday. When I launched the same project today, PP does not load all media files. (There are 600 media files and PP loads only around 200). The last message I can see in status bar is "loading media files. 403 remaining..". It doesn't seem to proceed further and leaves the sequence incompletely loaded. Until yesterday, the sequence was fully rendered and PP was loading the pre-rendered files.
I tried opening previous versions of project and faced with similar problems. Sometimes, the sequence doesn't show the red, green or yellow indicators at all. This has never happened in PP before. Wonder, what could be the reason and how i load my project to continue working.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks
    Neo

    Hi,
Can you try to import this project in a new project in cc and check if that solves the purpose or not.
    Thank You

  • The iMessages on my computer are not current to the messages on my iPhone. what can i do to get my iMessages on my computer to catch up to those on my iPhone?

the iMessages on my computer won't catch up to those on my iPhone like they normally do. please help me and tell me what i can do to fix this problem.

If you weren't able to sync the purchases to a computer previously and now your iPod needs to be restored so you can't sync it now, then you may be out of luck and will need to purchase your content again. Officially Apple does not allow redownloads of purchased items other than iPhone/iPod touch applications and iBooks. The official statement of their policy can be found here, among other places.
You can try contacting iTunes Store Customer Service (select the "Music Purchases" or "Video Purchases" category, as appropriate, then "Lost or Missing Items". You'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form - or an "Email Us" button) ") and explaining what happened. Reportedly in some cases Apple has allowed redownloading on a one-time basis. But don't count on it.
    Good luck.

  • Clip's media files?

My first movie... all going smoothly... working the project library, clips, music, sound effects all working just fine. But just opened up imovie to find that the right hand side of the project library does not contain any pictures or audio. Instead there is a small yellow warning insignia that states "This clip's media files are not currently available" Well, they were the last time I worked on this project... so it must be me, a dithering old man doing something wrong.
    Any suggestions?
    William.

  • "Plug-ins not currently available" keeps popping up.  Cannot edit old or new files.

I just downloaded Illustrator CC a few days ago off of the creative cloud for my Mac OS X.  I was able to work on projects and everything just fine.  Today I tried opening the projects I had been working on, but what came up on all the files when I tried opening them was a window saying “The document ‘name of document.ai’ contains elements that are managed by plug-ins that are not currently available.  You can delete or expand these elements but you cannot manipulate them in other ways.  The miss plug-ins are listed below.”  and there would be different plug-ins listed depending on what project it was.  It would not let me edit anything on the AI files.
I tried restarting my computer but than for a while was not able to open AI at all and a window “Missing Required Plug-ins:  PDF Format.aip” popped up and shut AI down every time.  I looked up some troubleshooting online and found some advice for putting foreign plug-ins in a separate file and restarting AI holding “command, option, shift”.  I did that and was able to open AI again, but the same problem and window as the first time came up.
I tried starting a new file, but the same message would pop up with and it called my new file “print.ai” even though I clearly didn’t make and name a file yet.  I even tried creating a new file from template and using a stock template like “CD cover”… it opened up and I could move the shapes around, but still no creative tool bar.  I can’t even get into AI preferences.  Any help troubleshoot would be much appreciated.

    Hi Sam_I_Am,
The missing required plugin pdfformat.aip issue was there in some user machine on 17.1 update and the solution available unfortunately is to uninstall Ai and reinstall.
On what version of Ai are you facing this issue.
    Sanjay.

  • Media Files do not appear in Library

    Hi,
I am running essentials 2012 r2.  I installed the media streaming pack.  From the server console, and via windows explorer, I copied music, videos, and pictures into the applicable "\serverfolders\" sub-folder (created by windows during
the media streaming pack install).  In the dashboard settings - media tab, I confirmed that those specific folders were set as  "Yes"  for streaming.
However, irrespective of the device I use on the network, the media files are not available to stream.  This includes from windows media player in windows 8.1 machines, where the my essentials 2012 library shows up, but clicking on the library results
in a response of "no files".
Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hi,
Based on your description, I understand that you can find this Digital Media Server (Windows Server 2012 R2
Essentials with Media Pack installed) under Network on client computers. However, you can’t find any music, videos or pictures file via Media Player. If anything I misunderstand, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Please open Dashboard, navigate to STORAGE tab and select Server Folders. Under Server Folders, please open
Music folder, Videos folder and Pictures folder, then check if those files which you copied exist in those correct folders.
In addition, did you enable RWA (Remote Web Access) on the server? If enabled, please logon RWA and check if
those music, videos or pictures under Media Library in RWA webpage.
If anything I misunderstand or any update, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
    Hope this helps.
    Best regards,
    Justin Gu

  • ICloud details not currently available

Have anyone else received a message that iCloud details are not available recently? My Photo Stream is not working correctly, those are to display both in the camera roll on the device that took the image and in the Photo Stream, right?
It startet a week ago when I apparently had taken too many images for iCloud to store, so I synced the photos, deleted them from the iPhone, deleted the backup and startet over again but now details are not currently available. It seems to be a server problem, but I have my doubts..

The font is installed on my computer but when I go to print, ID gives me a message saying "The following fonts are not currently available" and then lists the fonts. The odd thing is that Illustrator is able to find the fonts.

  • "Media Services Are Not Available"

I'm new...trying to get my photos off of my Blackberry Curve 8520 , and put some music on my Blackberry.
I just installed the Blackberry Desktop Software.  On my Blackberry, under Options -> Memory I have Mass Storage Mode Support set to On, and Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected set to Yes.    I apparently have 128.6 MB available which doesn't seem like a lot,  but whatever.
In the Blackberry Desktop Software, under Media Sync, the Music, Pictures and Videos tabs all tell me,
    "Media Services are not available.
    Media Storage is not available.
Please check that a media card is installed correctly  in your Blackberry device and that mass storage mode is turned on."
Now, I never put a media card in my device and as far as I can tell there wasn't one in the box, so I'm going to assume I don't have one.  Is this normal?  Do I really need one in order to transfer files to my PC?

    Hi
There's no media card in your device.Get one.
If still need to confirm through your device, do the following:
Go to options>memory, There you can check if media card is inserted or not.
One is application memory that you are telling is 128.6 Mb. Below that is Media Card under which you can see the total space and free space. If you are unable to find this media card and details below, then there's no media card inserted for sure.
