Which version of EPM add on are you using?
BPC 10 web interface uses adobe flash, try update to the latest version of flash and EPM add on.

In ESS we are getting SAP GUI screens instead of web screens??

How the problem has come up---
We have transferred the production data and OS into test server and changed the test server IP address to production IP address after shutting down the production server.
Which means that now ITS/ESS will be pointing to the new copied server. After this when this new server was shutdown and old production was started the ESS/ITS points back to the original production server.
Now the problem is that When we execute any transaction from ESS we are getting SAP GUI screen instead of Web screen.
Can somebody tell me why this is happening.
Any pointers to this will be highly appreciated.

First off...what version are you on (backend)? Also, how did you "switch" your ITS instance?A little more info and we will solve this for ya. =)

ASN Number field on SNC Web Screen

Hi,
We have the requirement to make ASN Number field as Grayed out on SNC Web Screen. We are using SNC Internal Number range to generate ASN Numbers and do not want Supplier to enter any number manually. System is allowing to enter the ASN number manully without any error message which is causing issues in subsequent processes.
Is there a way to gray out the ASN Number or configure error message when user enters the number manually?

Go to Transaction code:/N/SCF/FRMCFG
Click on position button below;
Enter APP ID=ICH,
         SCR ID=ASNCREATE
         CMPT ID=ASNDFR01
Select the above entry and double click on Fields configuration (left hand side)
Click on position button bottom
Enter APP ID=ICH,
         SCR ID=ASNCREATE
         CMPT ID=ASNDFR01
         FieldID=DELIVERY_ID
Select the above entry and double click on Form layout (left hand side)
Change the value of field Form box value type to <b>"TEXT:only for showing the data"</b> and save this entry.
Check now ASN screen it will gray out ASN number field.

Can't use all annotate actions in Preview-it's a PDF of a web screen shot. No highlight, underline, etc; can insert text, boxes, notes.

I can't use all the annotate actions in Preview. It's web screen shot saved as a PDF. No highlight, underline, or strikethough text but I can insert text, boxes, notes. On other forums this problem was solved by saving as a PDF which I have done. Any other solutions?

I don't think PDF is the way to do it, but if it was you'd need something like Adobe Acrobat Professional.

As far as Text changes, I thing the actual Source would maybe be the way to go, but you could always turn the PDF into a jpg or such, then use a Graphics program to poit out things...

IC Web Screen blinking after time

Hi All,
does anybody can help me?....
We have IC Web Screen and, after a time of not working (because agent hasn´t received calls) automatically screen, pop´s up automatically in front and, even if user go to another application, browser starts blinking until user go to IC Web an trigger another action (but we tried with Clear button and this is not accepted)...
Does anybody know if this is a basis parameter which can be modified?
Or is there a part where we can remove this blinking?...
Help will be appreciated.

The IC screen blinks because of the default time-out parameters set.
There are number of system parameters that can be used to control the time-out.
Please investigate the Available parameters that control ICM timeouts
icm/conn_timeout
icm/keep_alive_timeout
icm/server_port_< n >
Known errors in the keepalive handling from Internet Explorer are described in Note 900804. However, these errors are not usually displayed as timeout errors.

Tap the home button to go to the home screen. Then go to Settings>Safari>Clear history, Cookies and Cache. Restart the iPad. Hold down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and slide to shut down. then press the sleep button and hold until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the button and let the iPad boot up. Try Safari agin.

You don't use pixel preview and possibly also do not work at 72dpi, do you? That's why your crop lands on sub-pixel values and is quantised to the next whole pixel, changing the effective output dimensions. Aside from that, why bother with artboards? You could just use the slice tool and save it all in one go...

Saving screen as jpg or gif.

I need to save a portion of my screen as either gif or jpg format. Can anyone help me. One more thing is that it has to be done using jdk1.2. I know how to do it using jdk1.3, i.e., the Robot class, but I want it to be done in jdk1.2.

Cells merge issue when extracting webi report in excel format

Hi Experts,
We have some WEBI reports in BO XI 3.1.
The reports have header where we are showing report name and some values which user selects in prompt.
Now the issue is that when we save our webi report in excel format, many cells get merge.
I have read many post on scn which suggest some solutions like changing the autofit width option to no and aligning the header width with colums.
Tried both the option but no success.
Is there any other way to achieve this.

Hi,
We managed to find the workaround for this merge cell issue.
Sharing it might be helpful for someone.
- Align the report name and other block in report in such a way that the ends are in line with the end point of any column. The only limitation is that when applying pivot to the excel output we neet to click on any of the ccolumn so that excel identify the data set.
- Second workaround is to break the webi document in two parts report1 will contain the report name and the block to show the prompt values selected by the user where as report2 will contain the table withactual data. The only limitation with this workaround is that when exporting the repot output to excel we will get two tabs in the excel sheet one containing the prompt values and secont tab containing the actual data.

Unable to save webi report in excel format

Hi All,
I have a question. I recently upgrsded my internet explorer from IE 7 to IE 8.
Previously, i was able to save webi reports in excel format without any issues.Even after upgrading to IE version8, i was able to save webi reoprts to excel without any issues for 2 weeks.
Suddenly I am unable to save Webi reports in excel format now.When I select the Save to my computer as Excel option the saving dialog box appears and hangs forever.
Can someone please advise me on this??

Jre Version : 1.6_ greater than 1.8 version.
