Clock: alarm function not going on at right time!

Just updated from iOS 4.0.2 to 4.1 but now I'm having the following problems with the alarm functions:
1. Alarm does not start if phone is switched off now
2. Alarms set are starting 1hr earlier than the set time.
Currently Sydney changed to daylight savings, but the clock time is fine. Tried deleting and reinputting but still doesn't work. If I'm just testing the alarm function by setting a few minutes ahead, it goes at right time...
Anyone help?

It's a bug affecting people in Australia and New Zealand. Apparently it is due to be fixed very soon in a firmware update.

Alarm is not going off every morning

I have set my alarm and it doesn't go off in the morning...HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had this same problem, and believe I have your solution (at least it works for me!):
1) Make sure your alarm is set to repeat, ie: MTWTF or whatever days you want the alarm to run.
2) Click on "Menu", "Settings", and make sure your "Alarm in silent mode" is checked and alarm volume is set all the way to the right.
3) If your alarm is still not working, exit the alarm function, and go to standard "Settings", "Sound and Display", "Ringer Volume". Make sure ringer volume is all the way to the right.
4) Set your secondary alarm for 5 minutes from now to test.
I have found that in using my phone during the day, my fingers hit the up and down volume buttons on the side and turn the volume down too low for me to hear while I'm asleep. I check every night!

My iPhone alarm is not going off.

Ok, so... Several mornings in a row my iPhone alarm has behaved very strangely. If I set it for 7:30, with the "crickets" sound, both occasions I've woken up at 8:00, a half hour late. When I wake up, there are no crickets sounding. Strangely, when I look at my phone there is the interface on the screen that offers to allow me to "Snooze". That, to me, indicates that the alarm has triggered. I just don't get the sound.
I've used the crickets sound for at least a year now. My traditional experience has been that when the crickets start chirping, the generally chirp forever until I tell them to stop. I've even come home to them chirping because I forgot an alarm I set. So... what's up?
Also, no... the headphones are not it. And, the silent toggle is not on (not that it should matter - the alarm goes off even with silent on).

related to us and our server went through a bit of an update and

Why not just ask our server for help I hear you all screem at
your moitors??
Well they are very good at fixing the problems I throw at
them... but they can take a very long time to get back to me. So
far I've been waiting two weeks for a replay.
So if anyone could point me in the right direction that would
be just super douper great (bit weird!)

Alarm function not displaying end/snooze option

Hi. My Z3 compact has stopped showing the end/snooze screen when sounding an alarm. I wither have to restart the phone or amend the alarm time to stop the sound. Turning the alarm off manually in the app doesn't work either. I am only running standard time/alarm apps on the phone. Please advise a solution when available.

Try the following.
Menu > Settings > Personalization > Manage Notifications > All > Find Clock and Clocks and turn on the notification for them.

Adobe acrobat anchor link not going to the right page.

I have anchor link from html page like http://www,pbgc.gov/docs/2006bluebook.pdf#page=15, when you try to click the link on my machine and some other employees it goes to first page rather than going to page 15. Other employees get page 15. Have anyone experience this issue or know why this issue happen in Adobe Acrobat.
Most our employees have Adobe Acrobat 8, Also there are some who have Adobe Acrobat 9. I was thinking it may due to the version but someone with Adobe 8 is also having the issue.

Is Adobe Reader being opened as a plugin in your browser, or as an external application? I think the links to specific locations in the document only work if Adobe Reader is used as a plugin. I've had the same problem, and it was because I didn't have Reader as a browser plugin.

Flash builder + Zend amf | Insertion function not working when called second time

I'm using standart createOrders function which is autogenerated by Flash Builder 4.6. It works brilliantly when used once. Here is code:

When same button is clicked second time and consequently okButton_clickHandler launched, data is not inserted to database. I added result handler with trace("saved"); and what I saw was that "saved" was written on first click, but not second.
Also I used Charles to see whether request is being sent second time. And no it is not.
Just tried to generate auto generate form. Only had to add commit(); because else request is not sent. And here is save problem — request is sent only on first button click.
So all in all problem is in fact that ordersService.createOrders(orders2); works only once. Because if i try
createOrdersResult.token = ordersService.createOrders(orders2);
                ordersService.commit();
                createOrdersResult.token = ordersService.createOrders(orders2);
                ordersService.commit();
OR
            createOrdersResult.token = ordersService.createOrders(orders2);
            createOrdersResult.token = ordersService.createOrders(orders2);
            ordersService.commit();
there is only one row added to database. Any ideas?

Think you can find the problem in your php / whatever -backend. Generated code does'nt much know about autoincrement table ids.
So for the example tabel orders:
orderID int(10) auto_increment
orderName varchar(255)
...generated php for createOrders looks like:
$stmt = mysqli_prepare($this->connection, "INSERT INTO $this->tablename (orderID, orderName) VALUES (?, ?)");
mysqli_stmt_bind_param($stmt, 'is', $item->orderID, $item->orderName);
So if you dont give the right orderID, the second insert will fail.
Delete the autoincrement parts and code will work:

mysqli_stmt_bind_param($stmt, 'is', $item->orderID, $item->orderName);

Alarms aren't going Off!!! WHY

I have set my alarms to many different times, i have over 10 alarms, half are on repeat, all with annoying sounds to wake me, my phone is on loud, with the volume at its highest level. I want to know why my alarms are not going off at the time i set it too. theyre all on, but are not working. this morning i was not woken up by my alarm and i was late dropping my nephew off to school. can you please tell me why it is not working, this isnt the first time it has happened. Is there a way to fix this problem?

Alamouti 2x2 using USRP- PPL did not lock within the allotted time

I've been trying to use the following example VI:

I can't understand how to connect the two USRPs
What clock source should I use? How should I connect it?
right now I have my USRPs connected with a MIMO cable, and both are connected to my laptop with a gigabit switch.
currently, when I'm tring to run the VI without the clock source, there is this error:
niUSRP initiate.vi<ERR>The reference clock PPL did not lock within the alloted time.

Sorry for the late reply, I did not have access to the lab over the weekend.
Yes I am uing HW configuration 1. i set my IPs for the Txs and Rxs (4 NI 2921 boards), set the symbol rate, and appropriate IQ sampling rate. I then set the Tx element 1 Ref Frequency Source and timbase clock to internal. and for element 2 to be MIMO. I do the same for the Rx element 1 and element 2 as mentioned in the white paper. I set an appropriate carrier freq according to my machine (shown in snapshot below)
I then run the code, and the error shown in the picture shows up. Apparently, the error code is not recognized. I also show a picture of the error recorded on the front panel (which is the actual error, that needs to looked at). I then re-wire the error out in the block diagram to be connected to the last block in the chain 'Calculate BER VI' (shown in the 3rd picture below) which was previously not the case. Now i rerun the VI, and the error showing up in the block diagram is gone but the error mentioned on the front panel is still there (which is normal becuase i have not changed anything important in the block diagram).
I look up this error 'Error -107411864 - A stream command was issued in the past' and find this NI-known issues document: http://www.ni.com/product-documentation/52445/en/
And I see this error there. ID number 467209 (corresponding to the above error) . In this it states:
This error occurs when you set Timebase Clock Source to PpsIn and do not provide a timebase clock source to the PPS IN port.
If you set Timebase Clock Source to PpsIn and do not provide a timebase clock source to PPS IN, the USRP device will revert back to its internal timebase clock source. This may result in error -1074118649 "A stream command was issued in the past."
Since I have not even setup the configuration on the front panel using the Ref_in and PPS_in (i have actually set them to internal) why am i still getting this error.
I also looked at the ID number '466351' in the same list (right below the prev one) and find out that also seems to be fine since not all of the follwing conditions are being met:
The slave device has a GPSDO.
The niUSRP Set Time VI is called only on the master.
The timestamp is applied immediately.
as mentioned in the description.
And since, there is a clear conflict between the white paper configuration designed for this 2x2 scheme (HW configuration 1) and the actual HW configuration corresponding to this same white paper (HW configuration 2), how can i expect the code to run without the Refi_in and PPS_in for all 4 devices (for sync between Transmitters and Recievers) which seems to important for this code to run properly.
I do not understand this error either 'A stream command was issued in the past' since i have not found a soultion to it online.
Now can you elaborate on what seems to be a conflict and elaborate on this error, which has been reported on other threads as well but the NI people do not seem to bother to respond as to why this is so.

You can set times for your computer to turn on or wake from sleep in the Energy Saver system preference pane using the Schedule... button.

Why are my alarms for my ical not going off

I have alarms set to go off for several ical events. I have tried many files to be the alarm form my itunes, but im not sure why they are not working, and my daily alarm clock is not going off. I have tried several different times also

I just spoke to a representitive from Apple and after researching the issue with a supervisor, I learned that once you activate iTunes Match, you lose the ability to have your songs go into a "Purchased" playlist/folder automatically on your phone. They still go to a "Purchased" folder on your computer, however on the phone, they go into the general library after you buy them. You have to individually search for the songs afterwards and add them to a playlist of your choice for easy access later. The rep was uncertain if this was something that would be fixed in the future. I hope they do fix it.

My new Iphone 5 clock alarm isnt going off where I can hear it. Its started on my 4S when I upgraded to IOS6 and even on the Itouch too. I set the clock alarm, turn on sound (not silent), the alarm goes off, but no sounds comes out. I have to reset home to get it to recognize its off, but that doesnt always work, it did it on both my Itouch and Iphone5 I almost over slept this morning because never of them went off and woke me up. Acted as it the sound was down (which it wasnt) and it was on silent mode (which it wasnt) Is there a bug with this? I cant trust my phone now to wake me up. Any help? Thanks Tracey

Same problem here. Me and my girlfriend swapped iphone 5's (she has white, I have black) in may and I rely on the alarm every morning to wake me up for work. It hasn't let me down.
A few days ago I set 2 alarms very early in the morning to wake me up for an early morning flight. Neither alarm made a sound & I missed the flight!!
We then swapped our phones back & she has just had exactly the same thing happen & has missed an important meeting at work. Again, quite an early morning alarm. The odd thing is I have a black iphone 5, also latest OS, never had this happen to me...
Has anyone solved this problem. I can't make it repeat (reset the same alarm for a different time & it goes off fine).
Does I need to buy her a dedicated alarm clock!?!

Alarm Clock, Alarm Never Goes off, Please Test

I can't get any alarms I set to go off. Currently under the Nano's clock I have Los Angeles listed. I set the alarm, and it shows a little bell for the alarm on. Nothing happens, no sound, no music nothing. the time just goes by.
If the nano is off it doesn't turn on, and if it's on nothing happens?
Any suggestions? Normally should the alarmclock work if the nano is off?

Also can I switch between AM & PM without having to scroll through the entire 24 hours?

Alarm not going off in Lumia 520

Recently I updated my Lumia to WP8.1 and a couple of days later I find my alarms not going off at all, or they do so on random days.
It is really a big issue for me cuz I have to wake up early quite often and without an alarm its impossible.
Please do help or suggest an alternative

If its the Built-in Alarm, I don't think there is any Volume setting for it .. Its independent of the Ringer+Notification as well as Media+Apps Volume. BTW, do you atleast see the Alarm screen displayed when the time is reached ? If yes, did you try selecting any other Tone ?
Try a Soft Reset : Press and hold Power + Volume(down) keys until the phone vibrates (about 8-10 seconds). Phone will reboot. Then check whether it gets resolved ...
