Clock Change Failed Again

I live in the uk and the clocks have just gone forward except not on apple devices you also cannot change it automatically as when you turn it forward by one hour it changes it by two any one else having the same problem? If you have a fix please share as all my devices are running a hour slower...

The clocks to mark the start of British Summer Time (BST) don't officially go forward until 1:00 am.

  • 6509E Fan tray 1 mode change failed

I have just installed a CEF720 8 port 10GE with DFC   WS-X6708-10GE card in an existing 6509E Chassis and it shuts down due to inadequate cooling.
I have another 6509E Chassis with exactly the same setup and it works ok with that. Both are brand new.
The one transfers to High power mode and the other fails when trying to swap to restricted mode.

    Hi see the below information:
About the Fan Tray Mode: This high power mode may change to restricted power mode depending upon the environment temperature, the fan may be working at High or Restricted mode depending on the cooling needed at the moment.
Restricted Power mode: This is a default mode for a fan-tray operation. This mode ensures that there is an adequate amount of cooling provided to the chassis to keep its temperature in control.
High Power mode: This is another mode which is used for future line cards if there an increase in temperature due to addition of modules. In our case, this mode only gets in use when there is WS-X6708-10GE module inserted. Logs are getting displayed as new module is causing rise in chassis temperature and fan-tray has to accommodate more cooling thereby changing its operating mode.
The WS-X6708-10GE requires 84 cfm. Installing a second fan module in the chassis should bring the chassis cooling capacity up to 84 cfm per line card. WS-X6708-10GE is supported in non-E Series chassis at operating temperature up to 40 C only.
    Hope this helps.

  • IPod Touch clock app fails to sleep in 3.0

It seems that since the 3.0 update, the clock app fails to 'sleep' my iPod Touch (1st gen) when the set time elapses -- allowing the ipod to run all night, and completely drain the battery. Is anyone else experiencing a similar problem with the clock app?

  • Email not working - "device change failed"

Hi, My email has been working fine until today. when no emails were coming though on my device. I went into start-up and retyped passwords and it then came up with "device change failed"
I tried to do the battery out trick which did not work, so thought I'd delete the account and start again.
As soon as i go into email option on start-up it says "device change failed" then when I try and add my email back, it says "sorry unable to continue your session. Please log in again" It then takes me back to the main set up menu.
    Please help!!
    My email is hotmail.com

Sorry for the late reply. In order for you to add the emails back, you have to have the Internet Maill Account under the Email Setup. If incase you only have the option for Enterprise, check the Article below:
BlackBerry smartphone has no option for Internet Mail Account in Email Setup Application
    Hope this resolves the issue

  • Reminders app issue following the clock change

    Hi
I've seen some Q10 users reporting this same issue but not for the Z10 but with no solution yet.  Since the clocks changed and we moved into Daylight Saving Time, I've found an issue with my Reminders app.  All reminders (including those set before and after the clock change) flash up one hour before the time I've set it for.  The clock is correct, as is the timezone, and the lock screen (which shows the next event) shows it at the correct time - it's the physical reminder which is one hour out.
I've tried a hard re-set, pulling the battery out, connecting to the BB Link on my laptop but nothing has sorted out.  I don't know if this is related or not but my phone also did not automatically update the timezone following my return from a trip away (even though it was set to automatically update).  I manually changed it and it now shows correctly as 'Dubline, London).  But, if I turn the 'automatically update timezone' off, and then back on again, the phone automatically shows as Brussels time ie. one hour ahead.  As with the above issue, phone re-sets did not resolve this issue.
Any advice on either, or both, issues would be much appreciated.
    Many thanks

  • User Password change fails in OWA 2013

User Password change fails in OWA with this error: Your password couldn't be changed. Make sure the old password you typed is correct and that the new password meets the minimum security requirements.
We are migrating from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013.  Have mailboxes in both environments.  OWA 2007 password changes succeed (user mailbox is still in Exchange 2007).  When the user mailbox is moved to Exchange 2013, password changes fail
    with the above error.
We have the Exch 2013 servers are on Windows 2012 and we are running Exch 2013 CU3.   We have made changes to the Default Role Assignment Policy to prevent users from changing Contact information and setting user photos, etc.  We are not exactly
sure when user password changes stopped working, or even if they ever did work, although we recently installed our Prod Exch 2013 servers alongside our 2007 servers without any RBAC delegation implemented and a quick test of a user password change was successful.
I reversed all the changes to the Default Role Assignment Policy but the password change still fails.

    Hi,
Please try the following steps in your CAS server:
    1. Click Start > Run and type regedit and click OK.
    2. Navigate to the "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchange OWA" key.
    3. Set the ChangeExpiredPasswordEnabled value from 1 to 0.
    4. Close regedit and re-open it.
    5. Set the ChangeExpiredPasswordEnabled value from 0 to 1.
    6. Close regedit.
    7. After you configure this DWORD value, please reset IIS. The recommended method to reset IIS is to use IISReset /noforce from a command prompt.

I don't know what happened. All of a sudden, my settings have been changed, my homepage, and EVERYTHING. No matter how many times I go in and change them again, the SAME pages open up when I start FireFox and I am constantly being asked if I want Yahoo as my start page and default search engine. I click the box 'do not ask me again' and it comes up EVERY TIME. I change things like I don't want history remembered, and when I reload FireFox again, it's back to the way it was BEFORE. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I don't know why this is happening, or how to fix it. What do I do??

I do not want to download another virus program.. I do not believe it is a virus. I am running the full version of Norton 360 and it is doing a daily scan. I have Windows 7, 64 bit OS.
This is very irritating !! If I wanted Yahoo I would ask for it !

  • PJC Calendar setDate Wrong date format. Date change failed?

Forms 10.1.2 using forms demos pjc code.
The calendar pjc I added to my form works except I can't initialize it with a date. If I try to initialize a date it always produces 'Wrong date format. Date change failed.' error.
In a post-query trigger, I initialize the calendar's date using:
    SET_CUSTOM_PROPERTY('PJC.CALENDAR',1,'setDate',to_char(:lead.date_received,'DD.MM.YYYY'));
In the java console, this yields:
Warning: Wrong date format. Date change failed.
Warning: Wrong date format. Date change failed.
I get the same result when using a hardcoded date like:
    SET_CUSTOM_PROPERTY('PJC.CALENDAR',1,'setDate','01.12.2006');
What is the flaw in my incantation?

    Hello,
This is the syntax used in the calendarpjc Forms demo:
call the setDate method on the calendar PJC via the PL/SQL built in
        set_custom_item_property
convert Oracle date to String recognised by Java
      procedure setDate(d in date) is
      begin
        set_custom_property(lGlobals.hCalendar,1,'setDate',to_char(d,'Mon DD, YYYY'));
      end;     Francois

  • Stuck "calculating changes."  Again.

This is driving me crazy. It's the only problem I am having with my brand new Intel core i3 iMac. Time Machine chugs along smoothly for anywhere from a day to a week, then gets stuck seemingly forever "calculating changes." It has been calculating changes for four hours now. All the system log in Console shows is:
    Apr 3 06:44:36 macintosh-2 com.apple.backupd[5839]: Starting standard backup
    Apr 3 06:44:36 macintosh-2 com.apple.backupd[5839]: Backing up to: /Volumes/G-DRIVE Back-Up/Backups.backupdb
Last successful backup was an hour before this. The computer was not even used between the end of the previous successful backup and the beginning of the stuck backup. So I have no idea what changed.
If I try to stop the backup, the computer will freeze (beachball of death) so that only a hard restart will work. If I try to restart without touching the backup the computer will freeze (beachball again) and again, only a hard restart will work. If I leave it alone, the beachball will go for literally hours until I do the reboot. I've restarted this machine more in the last three weeks than I did on the previous machine in the past three years. I've done everything in Pondini's excellent troubleshooting guide. The only thing that seems to work at all is trashing the TM Preferences. Then I'll go along just fine for anywhere from a day to a week before the trouble starts again. I can't pinpoint any particular software or files, and have spent hours trying to do so.
I'm at my wit's end and really don't want to harm the computer with all the hard restarts. I searched the forum but couldn't find anybody with this exact situation. Any thoughts from y'all would be greatly, greatly appreciated. -- Tom

OK. Did everything like Linc said. At the end of verifying/repairing the TM drive in Safe Mode (there was nothing found wrong) the external drive went away. I got an error message stating that I had ejected the drive improperly. I did no such thing; the computer went immediately from the green "appears to be OK" to the "improperly ejected" window. Could not get the drive to appear on the desktop no matter what to try the backup in Safe Mode.
Finally restarted the computer in my usual environment. No drive on the desktop. This time turning it off, reconnecting the cable, and turning the drive back on worked and it reappeared. Reconfigured Time Machine using the backup drive and ran a successful backup.
Now we'll have to wait and see if it continues to back up, or if I hit the "calculating changes" snag again, in a day or six.

I have changed my DVD regions 5 times but want to change it again. How can I get back to my own region which is 2?

    Sorry, not possible.
Region encoding is the mechanism that enables motion picture studios to control the worldwide release of their movies. It is required by the DVD Forum (http://www.dvdforum.org/forum.shtml) in all commercial hardware DVD players. Every DVD-Video disc contains one byte of data representing a region code, which limits where the disc can be played.

It may be possible to make your Matshita Superdrive region-free by the methods describe here:
    http://forum.rpc1.org/viewtopic.php?t=43082
but please note: you USE THE SOFTWARE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!. The operation isn't officially allowed or sanctioned, which you're supposed to know when you do it.
To make any free=standing DVD player region free, go here:

In the meantime you can use VLC to play DVDs from any region.
