Close command field ( one to execute the tcode ) in transactional iview

Hi All,
I need to close the command field ( one to execute the tcode at the top left corner ) in transactional iview.
I know it has to do something with some services to be closed in sicf.
Can anyone sugggest on this?

Hi Nuzhat,
Please follow the steps below given
In transaction SICF go to /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui there you can modify some parameters by clicking on "GUI Configuration"
and enter the following value:
Parameter Name= ~WEBGUI_SIMPLE_TOOLBAR
Value = one of the next values or the sum of the values of what you want.
0 : Hiding the page header completely (not recommended)
1 : Standard setting : This is the recommended standard setting in which the title and the menu bar below it with the Exit and Help button and the application buttons are displayed.
2 : Displaying the title line
4 : Displaying the buttons Exit and Help
8 : Displaying the active system buttons on the screen (for example, Back and Cancel)*
16 : Displaying the system menu
32 : Displaying the application buttons
128 : Deactivating the information block in the status bar (new)

Hi all,
I am new to Portal.
we have a SAP Inbox Iview that works fine, but the problem is when the user try to execute Purchase Requicition Approval, the error "You have too many sessions open. Please close one and execute the workitem." appears. What really bothers me is that the error appears as IE error message but the detail of the error looks like SAP.
Your help will be appreciated.

Error while executing the TCode AS01

I am executing the transaction AS01 and getting a error as DYNPRO_SPA_OVERFLOW and in the status bar receiving a message as
 No more space in SPA/GPA memory for parameter RABA.

Please use tcode RZ11 and give the parameter name ztta/parameter_area.
and change the value to 42000. So it will work.

My requirement is when a value is entered into a field leaving the other field empty should display a error message
I'm making use of the below statement to display the error message
message S000(01) display like 'E' raising error_with_message.
But the thing is ,when trying to save it after entering value into a field leaving the other empty, its displaying the error message which i have maintianed.till here its well and good.But from here I can only come out of the tcode without allowing me to enter the value into the other field.
want a message to be displayed on the status bar and allow me to put the value into the remaining field
without coming out from the screen..

set screen 100.
leave screen.
The Req is "If I enter a value in field leaving the other field empty in tcode XXXX..its should display a message that this particular field is mandatory and allow me to put the value into the other field "
I'm able to display a message when the second field is left empty..
In the message dialog (where the message gets displayed), exit option is there.so i'm coming out of the tcode.But it should give me message and allow me to put the value in the screen without coming out of it.

Multiple approvers and one approver execute the workitem without complete

Hi all,
In case of multiple approvers, if approver-A executed the workitem but cancel it without complete. The workitem will stay only in approver-A SAP inbox and disappear from other approvers' inboxes. Is this a standard way?
For whatever reason, if approver-A cannot execute the workitem. What can be done by workflow administrator to make the workitem appear again in other approver's inboxes?

Hi Donald,
Yes this is the standard behavior of workflow.
If you send the work item's to the multiple approver's and one approver open the work item it will disappear from all other's inbox.
if the approver A open's the work item, then it will disappear from other's inbox. You can use the fm SAP_WAPI_FORWARD_WORKITEM to forward the work item's to the other user.

Can any one please execute the program in ECC 6.0 - Dynamic Select Dump

I am getting dump when I execute the following code in ECC 6.0 with Oracle DB. it works fine in 46, 47 unicode and non unicode and ERP2004.
If I remove the period '.' after '''4500016938''' it works fine. I just want to make sure it is ECC 6.0 issue.

Yes, you do not need the "." at the end. The period is after the WHERE clause

Execute automatically when calling transaction iview

Hi All,
I am navigating to a "Transaction iView" (SAPGUI for Windows) from a WebDynpro application.
I am able to fill all screen fields dynamically, but I have a problem executing the transaction.
I have tried passing a parameter called "OkCode" (or "OKCODE" or "OK-CODE") with the value "MELD" (transaction IW52) but it's not working.
Any Ideas?

If that transaction accepts any value, you can use this code to send params to SAP R/3.

Default debug mode of tcode in transaction iview

Hi experts,
I create a transaction iview for tcode se38 and everything is ok except that iView does not show se38 in normal way but in debug mode. Does anyone encounter this problem, please give me the solution? I guess that the some settings concerning to debug mode turned on in system, but i don't know how to disable it. Please help.

Hi Kebab
You can deactivate external debugging in the menu under by logging in R/3 System and navigate to Utilities -> Settings... -> ABAP Editor -> Debugging in the External Debugging field and remove the check point for your userid.
Else if that is not an external Debugging then Utilities -> Breakpoints... -> Display and from there select delete selected object.
And now you login into portal and see the difference.

Unable to print the reports from Transaction iViews

Hi Experts,
We have configured SAP Transctions iViews in portal. These transactions are basically of reports, when we want to print the report from EP. When clicking on the Print from the Transaction iView we are getting the error "File does not begin with '%PDF".
iView launches in HTML Gui.
When we launch the same report from ECC directly login with GUI we are able to take the print.
Is there any settings need to be maintain in "FRONTEND_PRINT" service.

Hiding the Pushbuttons in Transaction iView for the Selection Screen.

There is a need to Hide the Pushbuttons in the transaction i-view which is being created for a custom transaction.
The pushbuttons that needs to be disabled are like 'Save as Variant' , 'Choose Variant' etc..
How do we go about doing it.

Call Tcode S_alr_87013560 with input values when execute the workitem

My requirment is to call report S_alr_87013560 with value in input fields ,when user execute the work item .
this report needs input 1 - controlling area
on next screen--- 2- Database profile .
then project ID and cost...
and this is the first activity of workflow definition.
Please advice me on the same.

Hello,
Put whatever you need to do in a method of the BO associated with the workflow,
and then create a task (TS....) that calls that method. Then the step in the
workflow calls that task.
To call a report as you describe I'd guess you'd need to do a SUBMIT with BDC data.

Command field

Hi all,
Somebody asked me this question and i dint know how to do it can somebody tell me how it is done.
To go into a transaction code we just simply enter se38 or se80 or other Tcodes in the command field.This command field holds and list the last 10 tcodes.I need to clear this command field and it should hold only one Tcode whcih is entered.Please let me know how to do it .

Its not 10, its upto 20 maximum
Goto the Customising of local layout(Last Icon) from any Tcode in the Standard Tool Bar...
then Options And iN Maximum Number of Entries In History, you can enter Your Choice of Tcodes to display...
Also History Off & Clear History.

I am trying to execute the tcode EASISI with a varient.....
All the proper values are given to....... Simulation From,Simulate To,Document Date,Posting Date,Installation,Invoicing simulation,Simulate invoic. for ind. doc., and Billing simulation.
When I run with these parameters assigned,the Simulation is getting terminated with the message
"Field Base Unit of Measure must be blank (Account 0000800500 MYUC)' and "Invoicing of invoicing unit (account 4) terminated'.
I checked the UOM in the account specified and it was blank there.
Can anyone guide me....what exactly the problem is and how to solve it...

I also got the same error .We have resolved it thru Changing the include ZXBI1U08 . The code select * into table idberchz_1 should be replaced with select * into CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF table idberchz_1.
