Close Limit type PO - once follow on docs created

HI all,
I am facing an issue which is mentioned in the below thread:
Re: Change Limit PO line item account assignment
I want to close the Limit PO but unable to change that as it gives an a/c assignment error. Is there a way we can change the a/c assignment data for the Limit type PO once the follow on doc are created? Is there any way programactically we can make the changes to the PO in order to close it?

Hi Experts,
Please advise.

    Hi all,
    SRM 5.0 ECS
For a limit PO,can we change the A/c assignment data if there are nofollow on docs(No GR and INvoice) created??
Also we have a limit type PO,which is now error in process. We are trying to close the PO by checking on the indicators"No further confirmations expected " and "No further invoices expected " ,but when we do so,the indicator for confirmation becomes unchecked, the status of PO goes "error in Process" and in backend monitor I see the foll erros:
PO 3900000100: Instance 3900000100 of object type PurchaseOrder c ould not be changed
PurchOrder 3900000100: Purchase order still contains faulty items
PO 3900000100: In case of account assignment, please enter acc. a ssignment data for item
    PurchOrder 3900000100: Transfer failed
Another observation : These PO's are created directly in SRM and not from Shopping carts in Sourcing. They have no follow on dcouments too.
Can someone tell me how do I close this PO now??

    Hi,
It seems the Limit P.O is initially created with 'Invoice Only' option which then got replicated to ECC (R/3) system with Item Category 'B' which is a Limit in ECC.
And then later the Limit P.O in SRM is changed to add 'Confirmation' and 'Confirmation based Invoice veridfication' check boxes.
But while replicating only GR based Invoice gets replicated to ECC.
This is because when a Limit order in SRM is created with both Confirmation and Invoice required options it gets replicated to ECC (R/3) with Item Category D which is a service.
There is a OSS note available to resolve this bug. Please check for the OSS note as i do not remeber the OSS note number.
As far as closing this P.O is concerned, please delete this P.O in SRM as there are no follow on documents and in case the deletion status of this P.O does not get replicated to backend ECC (R/3) and the P.O is still active in backend then use Function Module BBP_PO_DELETE to delete this P.O in ECC as well.
Hope this helps you to get little more understanding on this issue.
Let us know in case of any further clarifications.

When trying to update my Mail Account Mailbox Behaviours settings, after making the changes when I try to close the settings pane the following messages occur: Invalid Incoming Mail Server The “Incoming Mail Server” field cannot be empty. The incoming mail server box has in light grey colour: p02-imap.mail.me.com in it and I cannot edit its content. Any ideas what is going on and how to fix it?

    Hi all,
Mattreichenbach is probably on the right track here with a reset of settings.  I think I've determined the issue has to do with cached account information and inconsistencies for the account name.  This seems to crop up when I've changed my password and it hasn't propagated fully to all the servers, devices, certificates, etc.
Hopefully many here are on their way to restoration of service by now but it's clear that a lot of people are having the same issues.  Very frustrating and definitely something Apple needs to resolve:  incoming mail server field grayed out, incorrect autopopulation of different fields, other unanticipated behaviors.  If you're still having issues, though, here's what worked for me...
First, head to the iCloud preferences pane in System Configuration and choose "Sign Out".  When I did this it prompted me with a number of "are you sure" type questions about retaining information on my local machine.  I chose to delete/remove the info each time simply because it should all be restored by the cloud and I didn't want to risk a massive duplication of my data... I will say, I'm back up and running with no issues so I suspect you can make the same delete/remove choices...  But use your own judgment.  I don't want you to lose any data (ie.. please use care as you do this because I cannot bear the thought of causing anyone to experience the pain of data loss).
Once you've signed out of iCloud, restart your system.  When you get back in, head to the Mail, Contacts and Calendars section of your System Preferences and add your account back by choosing the brushed aluminum "iCloud" button.  When it asks for your account name, use your @iCloud.com email address.  I am all but certain my issue had started because one of my devices (iPhone or whatever) had been set up with an email alias specified instead of my @iCloud.com address.
Apple, if you're reading through any of these issues (there are TONS of users having this same problem).  Take note, that your icloud service somewhat frequently is not responding and yet tells the user that the password is wrong and this prompts people to be changing their passwords unnecessarily.  This has happened to me on numerous occasions.  Also, I noticed that last week's outage corresponded to a VERY similar outage exactly one year ago to the day.  Sounds like planned maintenance to me and I think you could do a better job notifying folks so we're not wasting HUGE amounts of time troubleshooting a problem that we have no hope of fixing.
Hope that helps some of you!

I have created 10 different types of Activitiy Doc. When I open any activity in crmd_order I'm getting all other activities as follow up docs(when I click on follow up icon). I dont want all of them, may be I need one or two out of those. How to control those can anyone have idea
    Regards,
    Ajay

    Hi,
Check the copy control for transactions in
spro-->Customer Relationship Management->Transactions->Basic Settings->Copying Control for Business Transactions->Define Copying Control for Transaction Types
If the transactions are maintained as follow up for the transaction you have created then remove the entries which you dont want as follow up.
    Reward points if it helps.

Does closing apps save battery life? If so, is there a way to close all apps at once?

There is no way to close all apps at once. When you leave an app , most apps stop working immediately. A few apps will continue to complete the task they were working on. Mail is an example of that. There is a short time limit though after which the app stops running and the state you left it in is stored. Quitting apps does not increase battery life.

  • Classic Po as follow on doc not created and could see Pr instead

    Hi All,
Working with SRM 5.0 and ECC6.0 and Classic Scenario.
When I create a SC and assign the vendor with a Back end Contract , the follow on Document created is a PR instead of the expected PO.I have set the PR/Po option in Define the Objects in the Back end system.
System is picking the Condition type 01PB and could this be a reason?
    No errors are seen.
Contract no can also be seen in the bbp_pd analysis.
What else needs to be done to create a Po in the Backend against a Back end Contract.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Nagarajan

we had also faced similar situation.
    One reason can be
when SRM tries to create PO wrt contract it also checks
whether it can create a PR if not able to create PO
and it also checks whether the PR doc type is linked to the contract doc type
    so as a test
create a PR doc type same as the PO doc type you have mentioned in attribute BSA
and link this PR doc type to contract doc type in ECC

  • Backend PO number does not update SRM follow-on doc section

    Hi Guys,
We are on SRM5.0 and ECC6.0 with Classic scenario.
We are developing a logic in BADI BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW (method FILL_PO_INTERFACE1) to determine if a Goods Receipt is required for some business conditions. Below is the logic.
1.If GR is required then create a PO with External number range in backend. This is working fine.
2.If GR is not required then create a PO with internal number range in backend. PO_NUMBER field will be cleared in the BADI so that backend system creates a PO with internal number range. This is working fine.
But the problem in the point 2 above is, internal PO# is not reflecting in the follow-on doc section in SRM. I noticed that SRM allots a PO# in table BBP_PDBEI with backend external number range before it transfers the data to backend. We tried to delete the PO# in BBP_PDBEI-BE_OBJECT_ID in the same BADI so that backend system can updates this field BE_OBJECT_ID in SRM with internal number PO. We did not succeed in doing this. The SC status shows Approved but do not show the PO#.
Can any one tell me how to populate the backend internal number PO in the Follow-on doc? Is this the right way of doing or is there any better way?  Did any one developed such logic?
Please share your thoughts and experience.
    Thanks in advance..
    Jagdish

I noticed that SAP takes the number sequence from number range PO and updates BBP_PDBEI field before sending the Purchase order to ECC. If the different number range is defined in IMG "Define num range per Backend system for Follow-on docs" then system takes that num range. Then BBP_GET_STATUS_2 checks the PO# and updates SRM if the PO# matches otherwise it wont update.
But in our case we defined num range 44 for POs with Goods receipt and would like to assign another number range 22 for POs with NO GR. We can assign different PO doc type (ZEC) for NO GR by using BADI BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW. But how to assign num range 22 for ZEC dynamically in BADI. System is trying to take num range 44 by default.
Is there any way we can assign different number range in SRM BADI?
    Thanks,
    Jagadish

    Hi Sanjay/Vadim,

  • ME013 Document type RD33 not allowed with doc. ca tegory B

When I try to post an SC, i get the following error: ME013 Document type RD33 not allowed with doc. ca tegory B.  I am on SRM 5.0.  I have maintained config (V_BBP_TARGET_OBJ) to create a PO if info complete and I have set up BSA in the org structure as ECPO.  My SC has a source assigned and looks to be complete, yet the system seems to want to create a PR and it is having difficulty doing so.  Any idea on how to troubleshoot this error message?

    Hello Richard,
I guess RD33 is a PO doc type in your R/3 system.
In that case, that means your SC tries to create a PR, but with the PO doc type RD33.
But you said that you defined BSA = ECPO. So where comes RD33 from ?
Can you tell me what is RD33 in your R/3: PR or PO doc type ?
And if you have any reference to RD33 in SRM ?

  • Processing not possible; follow-on docs do not permit posting - WM

    Dear All,
The transaction WAE03, while doing the posting of waste material the following error occured "Processing not possible; follow-on docs do not permit posting"
    Please help me out.
    regards,
    ravi

    Hi ravikk,
I suppose you are modifying an entry document, this entry document has a document category (SPRO Environment, Health and Safety ->Waste management -> Disposal Processing -> Basic Settings for Disposal Processing -> Specify Document Categories -> Document Category/Functions Assignment), the document category may have assigned a status profile (the default for waste disposal management is EHS_WMM1).
With the status profile (SPRO - Environmental, Health & Safety -> Waste Management -> Disposal Processing -> Basic Settings for Disposal Processing -> Status Management -> Check, Extend, Set Status Profiles) you can see that has several status number, do double-click in any of these numbers and you will see other screen (Transaction Control), here you see what are you allowed or forbidden when your entry document has this status. You can see the avaliable trnsaction with the menu (Environment ->Transactions), waste management transactions starts with WA* and its description with WA-PRO:.
Back to the initial screen if you push the button 'Object Types' you go to 'Allowed Type Objects' the checkbox 'Waste Quantity' must be checked.
Check this link for more info about system status and user status link

  • How do I configure Billing doc as the follow up doc to sales order in CRM?

    Hi,
I have the Sales Order transaction type and Item category created and did the item category determination.
Next step is to make the Billing Doc as the follow up doc. I do not know how to do it.
I know copy control for Transactions, item categories and Item Category determination. Do i have to create billing transaction type and item category and do the copy control to link to sales order? if so what is the transaction type for billing?
    Can someone explain to me?
    Thanks.
Edited by: SAP GK on May 10, 2011 4:08 AM

This is done under spro>crm>Billing>Item Category Determination>Assign Item Categories. Here you link transaction type and item category of that transaction type to billing item category. according to that billing type is determined. link between billing item and type is set under spro>crm>Billing>Define Billing Item Categories
