Close old open PO's with available funds

Hello -
I am trying to find out how we can close out old open PO's that have available funds. I've heard that setting the delivery complete indicator might work but would it reduce the availabe funds to zero? Any information would be appreciated.

What is the error message you got while trying to delete the PO item.As the goods were delivered and made the GR, invoicing cycle also needs to be completed.Does the vendor was paid during that time?.
Please try deleting the PO item and act as per the error message you got.
If the cycle of the PO is completed and if you try to delete it , it will not effect the vendor/customer.

Hi,
We are having some open POs of year 2006, 2007. These POs are not archived due to Quantity delivered differs from qty. invoiced.
Now GR, IR are archived and business wants to close these POs.System is not allowing as there is difference in GR and IR quantity.
Is there any standard SAP report which will allow to put deletion indicator in such POs.

Sudhir,
Have you tried MR11? That's precisely what it is supposed to fix: The GR/IR clearing program posts a document that 'fixes' cases of 'quantity delivered' not equal to 'quantity invoiced.'
If you have done this already, there should be an entry for GR/IR adjustment in your PO history, and all the quantities should add up.
I haven't tried this in similar circumstances, but I don't think the fact that the GR and IR are archived would prevent you from clearing the difference with MR11. If you have really cleared this difference, and quantity invoiced = quantity received, I'd suggest having a technical person trace through the program to find the source of the problem.

Close old open POs

several items across several old purchase orders are open from a previous series of materials in distribution.
order unit was in EA (eaches) due to a rounding error someone would have received 0.999 CS. so there are thousands of open line items for say 0.001 CS.
the 101 material document displays that those line items do not have the delivery completed indicator checked at the time of GR. that option is also grayed out on MB02 change screen.
The help section tells me the basic option for how/when that is checked. The first bullet can not be done because you will receive a stock category error. I do not see the detail screen for the PO where this claims there is a "delivery completed" indicator.
how can you mark these line items complete?
If the "delivery completed" indicator has been set, no further goods receipt is expected for the item involved.
You can set the "delivery completed" indicator:
*At the time of a goods receipt against a purchase order (PO)
**On the detail screen for the PO or scheduling agreement item

Changing the purchasing value key will have no effect after the event.
The DCI flag is available on ME22n on the delivery tab.
If you configure the flag to be set automatically if the delivery is within the tolerance, then the 0.01 will not be a problem in the future.
But for now you may have to write a basic ABAP program that will report on and/or set the DCI flags for the "old" POs.

I've just updated OS to 10.10.1 and Finder keeps trying to open and then closes every 2 seconds with the message Finder is not Available. If Safari is opened full window it immediately closes and will only work with window smaller than maximum.

I am having the very same problem with iTunes, I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and started having the problem after the latest update. I just upgraded to the new 5s and was syncing everything to it, so I figured that I would update my itunes software as well. Which I never do after updating one time and had trouble with it on my old laptop and had to rollback to a older version of itunes. I have tried every suggestion that has been posted in the Apple Discussion area and on other websites no luck what so ever. I figured I will wait till Apple comes out with another update and try again. In the post above I am having the exact problem with iTunes. I'd love to know what thef-ing problem is because this is extremely annoying!

I'm using Excel 2010 and when I try to open several workbooks a message "Excel cannot complete this task with available resources. Choose less data or close other applications" appears. This happens when I open email attachments from MS Outlook
and files on my C-Drive.

Could you tell me which version of office are you using, 32bit or 64bit? You said this issue always happened when open attachments from outlook and files in C-Driver.
For opening attachments from outlook, it might there is a conflict between the preview pane and Excel. You can try to hide the preview pane as a workaround to solve this issue. Please refer to this link:

Excel not even open - "cannot complete this task with available resources" and then VBA run-time error randomly appear!

Has anyone else seen the "Excel cannot complete this task with available resources" error message appear when Excel isn't even open? It keeps happening to me, and it's the strangest thing.
It seems like interacting with Excel files sometimes prompts it - for example, I just turned on my computer this morning, checked my email, and then opened Google Chrome to upload some Excel files. Excel hasn't been opened at any point since the machine
booted up, but this Excel error popped up while I was uploading the files.
Checked the Task Manager because I was baffled (not that this is the first time it's happened), and there's no Excel application running, just that silly error message. Choose OK on that error and a VBA run-time error message appears (not even sure if it's
Excel VBA or Word/Outlook but I assume it's Excel - it's the good old 1004, application-defined or object-defined error).
Debug is greyed out, so it won't let me debug to see what the problem is. Choosing End brings the "Excel cannot complete this task with available resources" message back for one final performance.
This happens on a not-infrequent basis: Excel isn't open, and I randomly get this set of Excel errors: 1) "cannot complete task", 2) VBA run-time, 3) "cannot complete task" again. Then it's done, until the next time it happens. Weird.
I have 32-bit Windows 7 and Excel 2013/2010/2007/2003/2002 (I know!) but the issue only started after installing 2013. I also get the "cannot complete this task" message regularly when working in Excel (generally with Power Pivot or something legitimately
memory-hungry though), and restarting the application does the trick. I don't mind a heads-up when I'm gobbling up too many resources, but when Excel's not even open, it's a bit ridiculous. It's like I have a zombie Excel! Does interacting with Excel files
via upload/moving around Windows Explorer actually trigger some sort of Excel action in the background?

As the memory error messages , it can be very generic and don't always identify the real cause of the issue. We may try to use the KB that Mr. KR mentioned above to troubleshoot it.
On the other hand, if the file is xls format, we may convert to the new file format .XLSM and test.

Next, try to disable hardware graphics acceleration from File > Options > Advanced > Display section and disable Aero Themes (if you enabled) to check the results.

I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option?

Pages opens strictly word processing AppleWorks v6 files.
The problem with ClarisWorks files were they could contain all sorts of objects from databases to spreadsheets, drawings and paint. the iWork suite is not that versatile.
But you really have little choice as ClarisWorks and AppleWorks are both history. If you are going to switch, the sooner the better.
Just keep in mind what Apple did to ClarisWorks/AppleWorks along with many other of their appliactions and technologies theywill ultimately do to Pages.

I clicked on iMessage on my Macbook Pro today for the first time, and now NOTES keeps opening up every 5 seconds, with a new note. I cannot stop it from opening. If I close it or force close, it opens again in 5 seconds. I can't get rid of it. I have tried to clear out the iMessage settings I had put in, and I've tried to adjust the Accounts to not include notes to synch. But, Notes will not stop. It opens a new note, and even if you ignore it, it assumes preference every 5 seconds, and the Mac is impossible to use.

Do you have any Boot Camp or other secondary partitions set up on your system? If so then try running a disk verification routine (chkdsk, etc.) in Windows to repair the disk. While I've not heard of it happening recently, in the past errors in these partitions have resulted in stubborn ghost files appearing in OS X.

I had the same problem with my iPad, i couldn't get the newer version of itunes because the computer was too old and my iPad couldnt sync with the old itunes. I got a PC from school a few months later so that solved the problem for me. Unfortunately i don't think there would be a program to put your music on your iPod, iTunes should be the only way to transfer files to Apple devices. What operating system are you running and what version of it is it?

i'm having the same problem with my iMac (Mac OS X 10.7.5) . i haven't really made any updates to it and yesterday when i tried to access the iPhoto library of my MBP (from my iMac) is when problems started. The iPhoto on the iMac initially said I need to install the recent version of the iPhoto. Since I can't find a 9.0 download, I went to buy the iPhoto on the App store.
When I tried to install iPhoto (version 9.4.3) to the iMac, I got this message:
The iPhoto Library Upgrader is a tool that prepares libraries from iPhoto 5 or earlier, so you can upgrade them with the current version of iPhoto. You can download the tool here.
Note: If your library is from iPhoto 6 or later, this tool is not required."
I then installed the iPhone Library Upgrader, but I got the same prompt:
'You can't open your current photo library using this version of the iPhoto. You have made changes to your library using a newer version of iPhoto. Please quit and use the latest version of iPhoto."
I guess this takes me back to square one? I am inclined to buy the iLife on eBay with the iPhoto 9.0 version, but needed to know if this is the case before I unfortunately bite the bullet.
