Close Open Apps on iOs 7.0.2

I recently upgraded iOS from 6.1.3 to 7.02 on iPhone 4. Some of the features on the previous OS is not avaiable on the new version.
1. How do I close all open Apps ? Earlier I could double tap on Home Button and close all the Apps. That feature is no more there in the new version.
2. From the home page, swiping to right would allow to search contacts with the keyboard, Now the right swipe is disabled.

spotlight search, from anywhere on the screen (except the very top) swipe down

To quit an app double click the Home button to reveal the row of recently used apps. Flick up on the page preview and it will fly away and disappear. That quits the app.
