Close PO / Cancel PO
Hi experts,
We are using SRM 7.0 with Extended Classic Scenario.
We have a number of requirements related to closing a PO and to cancelling a PO.
1) Closing a PO means closing the possibility of further goods receipts and invoices related to this PO. This can be achieved by setting the corresponding flags in the PO item. But what if the PO has several hundreds of them? Is there a way to set these flags for all items at the same time? (There is a button 'process all items', but it seems to be always greyed out)
2) Cancelling a PO means that, for an already ordered PO, a cancellation message is sent to the supplier, and at the same time the PO is closed in the sense of the previous paragraph. In particular, any PO commitment posted to the backend should be also cancelled. However, I don't see how you can do this in SRM (7.0)
Deleting the items seems not be possible, since this triggers an approval workflow, but the approver cannot approve (The approver is getting an error: Execution of function module /SAPSRM/FU_WF_RFC_DECISION failed with error "Deleted items cannot be ordered") Furthermore, there is no comfortable way of deleting all items at the same time, in case you have a couple of hundred or even of thousands of them.
Regarding 1, I know that there is the possibility of 'completing' the PO; for this you have to click on the button 'complete' at header level, which is only shown when you are in display mode. Unfortunately, this only changes the status of the PO and it only prevents SRM users from creating confirmation or invoices in SRM, but a good receipt in MM (transaction MIGO) is still possible. We want to close the PO from SRM, because purchasers work only in SRM, but the goods receipt come through automated interfaces directly to MM-INV and the 'complete' button has no influence in the backend PO.
Any thought about how we can
a) close a PO?
b) cancel a PO?
Thanks in advance

Hi Manasi,
There is alternate way to cancel the incomplete PO.
You will not have the control option to cancel the PO if it is in incomplete status. You need to delete the PO only since the document is in preliminary level.
Audit trial will track this number. Still if you want to cancel this PO in an incomplete stage then submit for approval and get it rejected from the first level approver
itself and then you can cancel this PO.

Trapping System Form Close Row, Cancel Document, etc
Hi All,
I have an application which maintains Call-Off Sales and Purchase Orders by Creating Child Orders from a Parent. It maintains the outstanding quantities, etc, on the Parent when the Child is created. All of this is working fine, except....
If on CHILD document I select, either by right click or Data menu, the options Cancel, Close, Close Row etc. I cannot trap the event and adjust the Parent Order accordingly.
Running the SAP supplied Event Logger it is showing a Form Loading (Form 0) which is the confirmation request to perform the action. I cannot trap this event in my add-on as it does not seem to be passed outside of the standard SAP application. I have no event filtering on at this time so should be seeing ALL events.
Any ideas?
Many thanks,
DavidThank you very much Anoop. I don't think I would have found that in a million years! One thing though...Your method works well for the Close/Cancel event but the Close Row/Cancel Row are a bit more tricky. I have managed to do it by saving the Document Rows in a ##TEMP table on DATA_LOAD and then re-reading the rows and comparing the contents on DATA_UPDATE. It works OK but seems a bit messy. Is there a way of identifying the Closed/Deleted rows provided in the API?
Anyway, thank you very much once again.

Can you close or cancel an itunes account opened in error please? thanks.
I've created a second itunes account by mistake, is there anyway to close or cancel it as I can't find one?
thanks in advance,
KevManage to get this info from another post.
There are a couple of options that will allow you to retain full access to your purchases while preventing your account from being used to make additional purchases:
1) You can remove your billing information from your account at any time so that it can't be used to make purchases. By doing this, you retain the ability to authorize computers to play the items you have purchased with the account, and you will still have the account open in case you decide to use it later. To remove the billing information while keeping the account open, go to the Store menu in iTunes and choose View My Account. Log in, go to Payment Information, and in the credit card area choose the "none" option.
2) Apple can disable your account, which will prevent it from being used to make purchases, but you will still be able to play the items you purchased with the account. You can also remove your billing information from the account if you wish.
It is also possible to cancel the account, but you may lose the ability to play the items you've already purchased from the iTunes Store. For example, if your computer is repaired, you may not be able to reauthorize the computer to play your purchases after the repair. Also, you wouldn't be able to authorize computers that were not already authorized before you canceled the account. You may sign up for a new account in the future, but your new account will not play any of the songs or videos purchased with the canceled account (and you can't reactivate the canceled account). You should not cancel the account if you want to be sure you can continue to use your iTunes Store purchases. I therefor stronlgy recommend either removing your billing information or disabling the account as described above.
If you would like Apple to disable (or cancel) the account, you'll want to send a message to the iTunes Music Store through the form at the bottom of this web page specifying if you would like it disabled (or canceled). They should then respond with additional information (some of which I've given above). -

Capture close and cancel of email window
I created a C#.NET C3PO using the C3PO wizard.
I can easily change the send, open, forward, delete commands, but I also need to use the cancel and close of the email window.
Are there any predefined commands for these?
I've been looking through the C3PO files that were generated and they don't contain any sort of close or cancel command. Is there a way of doing this without using the Token 'EventNoticeRegister'.CandiceS wrote:

I doubt it's even possible with the tokens events ;-)
The close window token event is : 292, but the cancel button returns a
more generig one named 1113
What I would do was the following......
Register for token event 167 (Create std mail)
Then create your own rutine, that enum all open windows, and get a
hwnd. to the compose window
Classname is : OFMailView and if there's more of them, it should be the
active window
Then maybe, and I'm guessing here, you could hook into that window, and
monitor the buttons on the toolbar, with the classname of
"ToolbarWindow32"
Try and use MS Spy++ from VS, and check the messages from both the
window as well as from the toolbar

Prevent User close or Cancel Sales Order manualy
Hi all!
I am using SP Notification to prevent user close or cancel Sales Order manually from pop up Menu.
Here is my SP>
If @object_type = '17' and (@transaction_type ='U')

if exists
(SELECT T0.[DocNum] FROM ORDR T0 INNER JOIN RDR1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry

begin
set @error =100
set @error_message = N' Cannot Close directly !!! !'
end
End
But i not success because i think "U" and "A" event is not effect for this case.Dear Tien,
Same thing you can do by user authorization.
Path:
Admin > system initialization >authorization >general authorization >cleck on Select user > General > Drag and Relate >Set flag for the cancel document and close document.
May this help you.

When I watch any video on youtube, every video first starts with short freezes then freezes the Firefox 7.1 Browser window. I have to right click on the icon that shows the browser is open on the taskbar at the bottom of windows and then click on close& cancel to get it to start working again. Also, on any site, I am having problems with links & functions that suddenly stop working, site connections being dropped frequently for no reason, my Modem is stable & internet shows connected. On facebook when I click a button(photos) it doesn't work, in Amazon I click on "submit" and the button stops functioning, in yahoo mail I can click on a button to "send" mail and it won't work. I can open them in IE9 or Chrome but not in Firefox. I have tried disabling all plugins.I also have tried disabling all but flash and still the problems persist. I have uninstalled and reinstalled FF.
Command + R *should* take it to a recovery console. Command + Option + P + R resets the PRAM, but that doesn't sound like your fix.If all of your buttons are working fine on OSX side, I would ignore PRAM / NVRAM / SMC reset tricks, since these are tested as working fine.
I would say you should probably reinstall the drivers for bootcamp. I tried this with 5 in Windows 8 and it gives you an option to repair. The reason I say this is because the UI isn't showing up, which means that it's using another driver.
If this doesn't work, go into device manager and then roll back to your previous settings.
One more thing comes to mind. Do you ever use Parallels or VMWare to load your bootcamp partition? They have their own driver packages which can cause some unwanted behavior when using windows natively.
One last thing you can do is try to by-pass the GUI powerplan entirely. You can use the Powercfg command, which, as it happens, has instructions on how to forcefully set the brightness values. You probably won't be able to make it through these instructions since you will get an error at some point, but that will give us more diagnostic information.
Good luck! -
nothing seems to be wrong, so i am a little unsure of what the problem could be..
Press Alt, Command and Esc keys, select Finder in Force Quit and force close it. Then, you will be able to restart. You can also try to press Control, Command and Eject keys

How to cancel or close AP Invoice
Scenario:

I recall having a document a couple years ago that described all the methods of cancelling or closing marketing documents but I cannot locate this now. I really need help with this cause when im using firefox 3.6 , usually when i want to close the window , they will ask me whether i want to save the tabs or close or cancel.. but im having difficulties with firefox4.
and now i need to type again the last tab page which i went to.its kinda troublesome.
really need help for this.Firefox now always stores the old session, and you can access it by going to the History menu and selecting "Restore Previous Session"
If you want Firefox to display the message to save the session, it can be turned back on by changing some preferences.
# Type '''about:config''' into the location bar and press enter
# Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
# Locate the preference '''browser.tabs.warnOnClose''', if its value is set to '''false''', double-click on it to change its value to '''true'''
# Repeat this for these 3 preferences '''browser.warnOnQuit''', '''browser.warnOnRestart''' and '''browser.showQuitWarning'''
If you always open the last set of tabs, an alternative approach is this:
# Click the orange Firefox button, then select options to open the options window
# Go to the General panel
# Change the setting "When Firefox starts" to "Show my windows and tabs from last time" -
Closing sales order containing cancelled item
Hello,
This is the scenario. You create a sales order containing 3 items and add the order. One of the items then gets cancelled (in item master data). You then try and close or cancel the order. A red line error message is displayed saying 'Item cancelled' with the item code after it. Is there a way of closing a sales order which contains a cancelled item? I have tried removing the item from the order but am unable to update it afterwards - it shows the same error.
Many thanks,
KateHello Kate,
A precaution is always needed when you cancel any items. You need run a simple query such as:
SELECT * FROM RDR1 T0 WHERE T0.ItemCode = '[%0\]' to check any Sales Orders contain this code.
Thanks,

//Determines what the user wants to do
int result = JOptionPane.showOptionDialog(null, "What to you want to do? Close the application, minimize or cancel?", "Please select an option...", 0, JOptionPane.QUESTION_MESSAGE, null, options, options[0]);
//Determines what to do, depending on the user's choice
if (result == 0) {
//Close the application

} else if (result == 1) {
//Minimize the application
this.setState(Frame.ICONIFIED);

Stored Procedure for restrict to close documents
Hi,
I want to create a Stored Procedure for restrict to close sales orders for some users, because in Standard Authorizations you have one option to restrict to close, but I need that some users can close quotations and also this users can´t close sales orders. I have this query :
F @object_type='17' AND (@transaction_type='a' or @transaction_type='U' )
BEGIN
IF EXISTS (
SELECT T0.DOCENTRY FROM adoc T0 WHERE T0.[ObjType] = '17'
AND T0.[UserSign] = '1' AND T0.[DocStatus] = 'C' AND
T0.DOCENTRY= @list_of_cols_val_tab_del )
BEGIN
SELECT @Error = 1, @error_message = 'You are not permitted to close Sales Orders'
END
END
But It doesn´t work. I need help!!!
ThanksHi Jose,
You have to correct your transaction type parameters. When you perform close or cancel operations on document; the trasnsaction notification receives parameters u201CCu201D for Cancel and u201CLu201D for Close. So instead of checking add u201CAu201D or update u201CUu201D; you have to modify your transaction type filters for cancel u201CCu201D or close u201CLu201D. It will go like belowu2026
IF @object_type='17' AND (@transaction_type='C' or @transaction_type='L')
Please try above and let me know the results.
Thanks & Regards,

Closing or Cancelling a document using DTW or another add-on
Is there any way to close or cancel a document without manually going into the GUI. We have numerous scenarios where an order has committed product that needs to be released by closing the order and could easily do this via SQL or a DTW file generated by SQL but at last check, I don't believe DTW allows the updating of the CONFIRM field.
