Close PO created with Unlimited Delivery option

How can we close a PO where unlimited delivery is allowed? I have to activate this option in PO becasue at the time of receving we always have excess or shortage delivery. And we can not receive the excess quantity if Unlimited Deliver option is not selected in PO.
The problem is I can not close it manualy.. do we have any option?

I dont think that putting a latest GR date will close a PO, it will just restrict to post another GR beyond this date.

Using disk created with different security option

Hi
I'm struggling with using my backups / sparsebundle I originally created "With Device Password". I wanted to give my nephew access to my Airport Time Capsule 7.7.2 and changed the disk sharing option to "With Accounts" and set up two accounts. When I went back to Time Machine, I had no access to the previously used disk. But I want to continue using this disk for incremental backups and any potential recovery task.
After reading this http://discussions.apple.com/message/22323537#22323537 and others, I moved the sparsebunde file to my user account disk, replacing the new one created today. However, under System Preferences, Time Machine does not seem to recognise any "Latest Backup". It just displays the remmanent space available. Is it safe to perform a new backup? I'm afraid if I do a new backup this could replace all the content on the original disk or mess things further up. Any full backup would be larger than the space available on the ATC. Hope somebody can give me some input.

Wow, thanks LaPastenague. If I had seen the pondini web page I had saved myself a lot of trouble. But I fixed it by miracle. Let me explain:
When I went to Airport Utility, I selected the Disks tab and chose Secure Shared Disks 'With Accounts'. There were no accounts there, not even my proper user account as defined by Mac. So I 'created' them mirroring my nephew's and my MBP's user account details. So I got a new disk as result. The original disk was unaccessible. Scared as I was, I looked in Finder for the Airport TC, made all files visible and found two folders, one called 'Data', the original one, and the new with my user name. Each had a machinename.sparsebundle file and Data still had its own intact. I would make a copy of it, but it was impossible due to its size (1.5TB). Under TM, I could not find / select it anymore. So I went back to Airport, undid the disk sharing 'With Accounts" and reverted to 'With device password'. But then, against any logic, I could not even find the original 'disk' - neither under TM nor in Finder! Next, I reverted Airport to 'With Accounts' sharing, and in Finder I moved the file to my new user folder within Airport, as I said. After posting my question here I had a phone call and forgot to disable TM! When I came back to my MBP TM was backing up... just an increment! So I guess I was saved by chance. I had some important backups I luckily could save and are still there.
I hope this helps others with the same issue. But I recommend to have a look at the Pondini's guide before messing with any settings in Airport / Time Machine. I found I can't use intuituon with Airport as I do with Macs. They seem to be different philosophies in spite of being both Apple. I learnt my lesson. The good thing is that, for whatever reason, 'with accounts' Airport and TM seem now to work more smoothly.

Delivery created with 0 quantity

Hi,
We have scenarion in which the delivery was created with 0 quantity.
I am creating delivery using transaction VL10D. Even though there is no available stock, delivery was successfully created with 0 delivery quantity.
Is this issue with material master or issue with Material availablity check.

Dear,
Basing on the control elements availability check settings in customizing.
System Determines date for availability check on basis of earliest material availability date of all schedule lines in delivery.
If there is insufficient stock the system behaves:
1. Sufficient quantity of material not available by material availability date, a delivery quantity '0' is entered in delivery. If item category of delivery permits '0' quantity then it would be included elese item would not be allowed in delivery.
2. Quantity available of material is lower than order quantity, system would enter available quantity as delivered quantity and order would get updated accordingly. If partial delivery is not allowed, this would be noted in delivery log.

Excise capture not possible if GR is created with ref to STO

We are created the STO with two step, created the delivery and goods issue and afterwords created the Billing.
Now we are created the GR with ref to Outbound delivery, then system will copy the Outbound delivery number in Delivery note field. so it means that the perticular GR is created with erf to outbound delivery.
if suppose in same cases stores person created the GR with ref to STO (forget to give outbound delivery) then system is allow us to do the GR, now the Delivery Note number is option one..we can enter any value or number. after this while capture of excise with ref to GR the system will not allow us to take CENVAT. how to solve this.
How to get the perticular GR is created with ref to delivery or Not.(suppose if choosen is Outbound delivery then Ref number in MKPF is Outbound delivery, if suppose i select the GR with ref to STO then in same delivery number i will enter in Delivery note field, then also MKPF shows same outbound delivery, how to get this perticular delivery is created with ref delivery or STO.
Reason: Most of the STO are there, here stores person created the GR with ref to STO (he should select outbound delivery but he is not selected), now system is not allow us to take CENVAT, how to do , Business they are not ready to reverse the GR bcz the stock is already cosnsumed.

When you do GR against the outbound delivery at the recieving plant the system will Pick up the excise duties from the Excise invoice/commercial Invoice created at the supplying plant.In STO there is no provision to input the Excise duty.
The same has happened in your case ,when u are tryin to make GR against STO ,the system fails to fetch the excise data as no excise data is available in Stock transport order
Comming to your second query of what has to be done to previously made GR against STO,follow the steps
1) Go to J1IH -additional Excise
2) Input Material docuemtn,Plant ,Excise group
4) enter the material code ,Duty amount ,quantity ,Chapter ID
3) Post the document
The entries passed in the above case will be through excise transaction type DIEX which will be clearly visible in J2I9

Email Delivery Option - Simple TEXT Output is coming as an attachment

Hi All,
I am trying to use R12.1.3 feature "Delivery Option" while Submitting Concurrent Program "Payables Open Interface Import" using FND_SUBMIT with email Delivery Option and email is coming with an attachment (Concurrent Program Output).
Email Body is blank (as expected if Output is coming as an attachment), as per documentation if CP Output is in TEXT Format then Email body should show the Output instead of an attachment.
My Question, is if Output is TEXT why it is coming as an attachment, do I need to Configure something?
I am using and it is working fine(not sure if any of the argument is required to Set "SMTP_CONTENT_TYPE",

Passing Delivery option to child concurrent request

hi, we have a concurrent request(parent) using SQL to call a new concurrent request (child),
Since if we run the parant with email delivery option , the parent call the child to execute. But the email sent the parent output, we actually want the child's output.
So I would like to ask can passing the delivery option from parent to child in the SQL?
Any sample for references?

Dummy line item created with TATX item category in outbound delivery

Hi Experts,
We are using a custom transaction YLE_VL10 to create deliveries. Now the problem is when delivery is created, a dummy line item is created with item category TATX and zero qty which causes a problem while creating invoice.
Can anybody of you suggest what could be the reason for this? or how can it be prevented?

I have checked 0184, it looks fine from that point of view.
We already suggested this check qty field to be as 'B' before. but our client says their shipping is critical and they have immediate next day shippings and so on. So at that time, if it does not allow to create delivery, then this option affects their business which is why they dont want to implement this workaround.
Hence we are searching for any other possiblity as of now and hence looking forward for ur replies.

Unlimited Delivery Indicator in relation with Default values in MIGO screen

What is the relation of 'Unlimited Delivery Indicator' in PO with 'Porposed All Items Indicator' in Default Values of MIGO?
Case:
PO created with quantity 100. GR is done for 100 quantity. If 'Porposed All Items Indicator' is set system allows to receive more than PO quantity in GR.
Its behavior is same as Unlimited Delivery Indicator in PO.

'Porposed All Items Indicator' Indicates that items with quantities of zero are also suggested upon goods receipts with reference to purchase orders.
use:No more goods receipts are expected for items that have a quantity of zero, but they are possible. Items with quantities of zero may occur after partial deliveries or reversals, for example.
You can set this indicator if you often have to enter additional quantities to purchase order items that are already completed.
'Unlimited Delivery Indicator' the delivery quantity is not limited

When placing a PDF created with Distiller, I only get Crop and Media as import options -- I need it to crop to the Trim! PLEASE HELP!

I'm having a MAJOR problem placing PDF files in InDesign CS4...
When I try to place a PDF that has been created in Distiller, the ONLY import options I can choose are CROP and MEDIA. I need it to crop to the TRIM, but that option is grayed out. The PDFs I'm trying to place were created in-house, and converted from Post Script files to PDFs using Distiller. We use PDF/X-1a equivalent settings when creating our PDFs.
If I export the file as a PDF and then try to place it into a CS4 file, I am able to select Trim as an option.
ALSO, if I open the Distiller PDF in Acrobat and then save it (without changing anything), I am able to select Trim as an option. A workaround I have found is to open all of the PDF files in Acrobat, save them to my desktop, and then save over the ones I need to place. Here's the problem with that: I work for a publishing company, and need to place hundreds of ads for each issue of our publications, and it adds a lot of time if I have to go and re-save everything just to be able to place all the ads.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I need to get this figured out so we can use CS4 for all of our publications again. -- We've gone back to using CS3 until I can get this figured out...

Thanks for the reply, but my PDFs all have trim boxes on them. If I try to place the same PDF in InDesign CS3, it gives me Trim as an option. Also, if I open the PDF and save a copy to my desktop, I am able to select Trim as an option when placing the PDF, and I didn't change anything about it.
I've been trying to see if it's something with the Print Preset settings I'm using, but I can't find anything that seems like it would affect how InDesign would read the Trim area of the PDF.
I've attached 2 PDF files. One that was created with Distiller, and one that was exported from InDesign CS4. The Distiller one doesn't show Trim as an option in CS4, but the exported one does.... but they started out as the same ad. Ugh! Help me please!

Credit memo to be created with reference to return delivery

Dear Gurus,
We have a requirement for mapping return process
Credit memo to be created with reference to return delivery (instead of with reference to return order)
Following issue faced in mapping the same:
Billing document No. 1234 dated 25.03.2010 where there is 4% VAT.
when we are creating return order with reference to billing document 1234
4% VAT is calculated since the Service Rendered date is 25.03.2010 (Copied form Billing document)
return delivery is created today 08.04.2010. (VAT revised to 5%)
when credit memo is created with reference to delivery document
VAT is calculated 5% which is applicable from 01.04.2010
since the service rendered date is appearing in billing document
08.04.2010 (the date of Post Goods Receipt).
The VAT should be actually 4% in Credit Memo.

In the copy controls from delivery to Invoice, at the item level try to use pricing type C and Pricing source Blank ( Blank is order).
If it doesnt work , then you might have to go for a requirement routine for this Tax , based on the document category that is being processed, read the tax from the originating order.Assign the routine to tax condition in the pricing procedure.

quantity in delivery document than in purchase order. How to control it.

You can control this through item category fetched in delivery. Please check whether you have set error message or note about situation for overdelivery under following customization path;
SPRO>>Logistics Execution>>Shipping>>Deliveries>>Define Item Categories for Deliveries
Here for your relevant item category, check under quantity table the entry maintain under 'Check Overdelivery'
You can set it as A- So that user get the note of the situation or B- so that it gives error message.

launch iPhoto wile holding down the option key and select the original library - when you create a new library of course it is empty
And you seriously need to backup your iPhoto library and purchase and install iPhoto '11 version 9.5.x from the App store and download and run the iPhoto library upgraded \then run the new iPhoto - 7.1.5 is not fully compatible with Mavericks

What format are your sources and what are your sequence settings? I'd guess that you're working with h.264 material which is not fcp friendly. If so, use compressor to conver to prores422
