Closed website but can still hear the video feed.

any idea what could be wrong? I opened QVC and watched something. I closed the web browser but I can still hear the program, its driving me nuts. How do I make it stop?

When in doubt, reboot! ;-)
Most glitches can be solved this way.
Press and hold both the Power switch and center button for at least 15 seconds. This will restart the device.

Just guessing here, but dropping your phone is probably the reason your screen or backlight doesn't work.
Only solution I see is to take it to Apple and buy and out of warranty iphone 4.

Hi there, im also having this problem, i tried running most of the games on my system, and some that are considered "high end" games, are giving me the exact same problem, but other games are running and im able to message fine, i also got some friends to send me messages, and i can recieve messages perfectly, also i noticed moving the actual window around on the screen or just closing down skype also lags. I have 16GB of ram and 4.4Ghz Octa-Core CPU, i checked my load while on the high end games and it there was more than enough hardware usage left like normal for skype to run, and skype wasnt taking any extra up than before. I also checked by bandwidth and i was having no problems with that as skype would lag even on offline games.
I have tried re-installing under a different directory and still the same problem persists, this has only been a problem within the last 24hrs and i haven't installed any other programs that could affect this at the moment.
*UPDATE* I tried downgrading to an older version of skype, 6.3.0.107. Problem Still persists

If the clips are not actually missing, you could try to refresh the timeline by using cmd-0 and then going to the timeline options tab. Then select name only where it says "thumbnail display". Press ok to accept the change, then repeat the process to add thumbnails back to your timeline.

Try restoring the iPod. First from backup and if problem persists, restore to factory settings/new iPod.
If you still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

The clip is intact and it has video and audio.
I have worked on it before and all was fine until I lost the work when it got frozen!
The issue is:
I have a (MOV.) ready clip that I wanted to edit a bit, hence I have imported the clip (import media) and whenever I try to work on it, the black screen prohibits me from doing anything.
Any ideas please ... It's really strange !

Homesharing has issues that have not been fixed over several versions of itunes and ios.
Only kind of fix is go back through your library and retag it.

Hey everyone, i took great care of my ipod which i got a while back, after another one had water spilled all over it and died. anyways i went to go listen to my ipod and had a blank screen all of a sudden as if it was really low on battery or something, but i could still hear the music. Are you saying that your iPad's screen is black even though you can hear Siri when you activate her? Then ...
first try a reset:
Hold both the Home button and the Power button down for 10+ seconds until the Apple logo appears. Let go promptly when it appears, wait 30+ seconds for your iPad to restart. No information or settings will be lost.
Now try giving your iPad a friendly thump on the back.
Place the iPad face down on a bed or your knee and try gently hit it right on the Apple logo on the back of your iPad. If that doesn't work try thumping it in various places on the back including the corners, and with increasing intensity.

Velocity on zero but can still hear note?? help

Hi all
I know this is a novice question but i cant get my midi notes volume to go really low or even silent using velocity. Im using Kontakt sampler.
I turn the velocity down to zero and i can clearly still hear the note being played. When i used halion, you turned the velocity knob up to max to acheive this. I cant seem to find a velocity knob in Kontakt to do this.
Is it a setting inside Logic that i should be changing?

Turn the modulation amount for velocity (a little slider underneath the volume knob) to 100%. It's set to something like 39% by default. Next time check the NI Kontakt forum.

I just updated my Firefox, and now whenever I use Youtube, I only see black screens where the video should be, but I can still hear the sounds; what gives?

The Youtube pages load as normal, but as stated above, the player contains only a black screen, and the progress bar moves as usual when playing the clip, but I can only hear, and not see, the actual video.

Yes, just made sure of that. I do have the latest version of Flash player. But I have just staggered upon the answer. Chalk it up to being a newbi. I was not putting my apple tv to sleep and it would not allow me to see
you tube on my computer while it was still operating on my TV. When I realized that, I put the apple tv to sleep and bingo, my computer runs you tube fine. Thanks again for your response.
