Closing a browser window

Question

My client is having the program we created for them open up
in a new
browser window when they click a button on the client's home
page. How
can I have the shockwave program close the window so the user
ends up
back at the client's home page?

You can use externalEvent to call a Javascript function in
the html doc that holds the SW.
on mouseUp me
externalEvent("closeWindow()")
end
and then in the head of the html doc:

function closeWindow() {
if(window.opener) {
window.self.close();
} else {
newWindow = window.open('homePage.html','homepage','');
window.self.close();
Insert the actual url of the home page that you need to
use.
