Closing a dynamic tab (Dynamic Tab shell) does not navigate to last opened

Hi,
I have implemented Dynamic Tab UI shell in my application.
When I load the jspx page (which uses this template), by default I open a tab.
From the first tab, I open multiple tabs with different task flows, say tab1->tab2->tab3.
Now when I close tab3, instead of navigating to tab2 (from where tab3 was open), it always navigates to tab1.
Is this a known issue? I use Jdev 11.1.1.4.0.

After I posted this question I actually did the same thing :)
I downloaded the source code and then changed the _removeTab() method to display the immediate previous tab available and isActive().
Right now the logic is like, they start from the current tab and then iterate to get next tab by incrementing the tab number and once it reached 15 (MAXFlOWS), it is set to "0" and hence always navigates to first (0th) tab.
I reversed the logic, to start from the current tab and iterate in the reverse order.

THat indicates a permissions issue on your preferences file and/ or your files are stored on some external or network device that doesn't use persistent file paths. Look into that.

Under options/tabs: open new windows in a new tab instead does not work. many sites open their popups or new windows NOT in a tab as it should. How to solve this, has been a problem in the last versions incl. the latest.

i would like the option ´open new window in new tab instead´ working properly so no new windows will be opened except when I command them to..
as said, many websites have popups (most are blocked, still some come through) who open in a new window.

Crystal 2011 RAS. Section Expert Paging tab properties does not correspond to EnableNewPageAfter, EnableNewPageBefore properties in section format

We have application where you can select fields, select groupings and properties (for example disable page grouping ) and create custom report.
It worked with crystal 9.
Now we are converting to Crystal 2011 and I have the following problem:
I create report dynamically and set group footer EnableNewPageAfter property to false in group footer section.
When report is created , I open it and see that New Page After property in section expert is unchecked.
When I run the report, I have page break after each group - which is wrong.
If I open report in Crystal, check New Page After Property , save, exit report, open report again, uncheck New Page After Property, save and exit,And than run the report again,
My report behaves correctly:does not break after each group.
If I open report in Crystal, check New Page After Property , save, exit report and then load this report in code and look at EnableNewPageAfter property,
the property is still false - but it should be true
Do I use the wrong property?
What is the right RAS property to set Crystal report 'New Page After' Property in the code for group footer/group header?

There have been a few escalations of this type. For some odd reason you have to call the .Set 2 times...

I know how to use about:config & have had the usual problems with newtab page tiles but this is more like a bug- using 33.0.1. Doesn't show tiles icon in top right corner just shows a gear that is used to hide the empty tiles that I can't fill with sites. First it would only show 2 rows of 4 columns even though I had it set to 5 & 6 then few days later for no reason they went empty with a serrated line around the tiles & can't drag from the bookmarks---- really bloody annoying!!!!!!! Possibly a setting in the about:config but i can't fig it out?

* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Tab navigation does not show at all in FP 10 it shows in FP9

Hi,
I have module that is loaded at runtime,
it has simple tab navigation with 3 children,
in FlashPlaer 9 Debug, tab navigation shows fine, even
thought for some reason it looks like linkbar :)
also numericStepper looks like inputBox and ComboBox has no
arrow, (they all look fine in FB 3.2)
in Flash player 10 tab navigation does not show at all, is
there any obvious thing that I am missing ?
I am guessing something terribly wrong with flex styles, but
I am not overriding any styles,
my environment :
vindows Vista 64 bit (although I use jvm 32)
project is build with latest flex sdk :flex_sdk_3.3.0.4589
P.S: I cant attach image here, so I will record video
tomorrow, if that will help.

The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13+ versions. Uninstall that extension.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:
* Check the Windows Control panel for the Ask Toolbar - http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ff/index.html#na4
* Also check your list of extensions, you may be able to uninstall it from there - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons

It's the "+" on the Tab bar. You can move it to the Navigation Toolbar if you prefer. When you start Customize, the + moves to the far right end of the Tab bar. You can drag it where you want (see attached image).

Tab key does not work

This is very strange, please read.
My tab key does not work. It will not move from one text field to another.
I have checked my keyboard settings. "Full keyboard access:" is at the default "Text boxes and lists only".
I have deleted this user and recreated the user, and with the completely new user the tab key does not work. Other users on the machine it DOES work.
This is happening now on 3 of our 5 machines.
Lastly, when I turn on the keyboard viewer (International/Input Menu/Keyboard viewer: it shows you what key the system thinks you are pressing when you press a key on the keyboard), it shows that when I press the tab key, the Command key is being held down instead. It's not showing that the tab key is being pressed.
Has anyone seen this previously? Again, it's happening on 3 of our 5 machines (some users the tab key works, some users it doesn't). These are fresh user creations (no special software installed, no prefs changed, etc...)

"Repair Disk Permissions" from Disk Utility may help.
Also, cmd-opt-n-v (Clear NV RAM) may help as well.

This issue can be caused by the Ask<i></i>.com toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)

This can happen when the video player (Flash plugin) has the focus.
In that case the plugin consumes all the key presses.
You will have to click with the mouse elsewhere on the page or in the user interface to make keyboard shortcuts work.

When I close Safari now with multiple tabs, it does not warn me I have multiple tabs open. How do I turn it on?

Safari always warned me when I had multiple tabs open before it would close. Now it closes whenever I hit the red X (close out). When I was at the Apple store ithey indicated that that is how the latest Safari works, but it is supposed to open all the tabs that were open when it is relaunched. Mine appeared to do that when I was at the Apple store, but now it does not. When it opens now, it just opens my home screen with no tabs.
Can anyone shed light on this?

One change in Firefox 4 is to by default stop Firefox displaying the warning message, but it can be turned back on by changing some preferences.
