Plz let me know how to close Music application in N73ME.and also how to check the applications running in the background.

To Check for any applications running in the background, simply HOLD down the menu key.
I don't think you can switch off the music player on the Music Edition. But try this when you are in Music Player, press options then scroll down and and try and find Exit. If its not there then it can't be shut down.

My iphone 4 will not play or open the music application included on the iphone
when i try to open the music application included on my phone it comes up as a blank or black screen for a few seconds before returning to the home screen i have rebooted and restarted as well as fully closed down all my apps
Try resetting it: hold down the power and the Home button for about ten seconds until the Apple icon appears on the screen.

Closing an application using ios4
Is there a way to close an application using ios4 without double tapping the home button and closing the application by holding down on the application and waiting for the red minus sign?
Before you just had to hit the home button to exit the application, and now I'm not sure.
Not sure it makes a difference if the applications are open, but I thought I'd like to know if there is a simple step to exit and close the application.
Thanks in advance.I actually have noticed my battery is depleting faster since upgrading to iOS4. Basically I've noticed that every time I look at the battery sensor, it's gone down 1% from the last time I looked, and I'm checking it quite frequently. A test I ran was I had Facebook & TweetDeck open at the same time (just 2 apps). I posted a tweet on TweetDeck and found my battery was down 1% in the time it took to draft a small 140 character message. I don't know if that is something to do with the new OS but I do know writing a tweet didn't use up 1 whole percent of my battery before. I think the new OS was really meant for the iPhone 4 and the 3GS was just like an afterthought. Maybe its not the multitasking per se, maybe it's just the new OS eats through more battery naturally but either way, it kind of ***** for those of us who live on our 3GS iPhones and are not eligible to upgrade.

Trying to install MS Office 2011 for Mac SP 2 (14.2.0) on my Macbook Air (Lion 10.7.3). I have to close Microsoft Database Daemon and SyncServicesAgent but can not see how to do so. I have closed all applications. Can anyone help? Many thanks
Thanks Kurt! I had tried all that and had tried closing both programmes from the application monitor, but SyncServices Agent refused to close. I tried closing Launchd which is their mother application, but that just caused the screen go go blank. In the end the two programmes let themselves be closed next time I tried the installation process so all was well. Thanks for your help!

I have installed and re-installed PE8.1 on my laptop many times (with security off). I followed Quickstart and after 60 seconds end up with CLI156. I finally gave up the ghost, bought a 160G drive, installed it into my desktop, installed Fedora Linux and have not had a problem. Life would be much better if I could get it running on the laptop. My gut tells me that something is wrong with either JAVA_HOME or J2EE_HOME, but I cannot see it. -
Since installing the latest version of iTunes all my music files cannot be edited, and I cannot import new music files into iTunes. The messages says I do not have enough access privileges even though I am the administrator of the system. If anyone can help me sort this out I would be really grateful. I have checked the read and write privileges for all the iTunes folders and it all seems in order so I can't understand it.
In general, I am getting really frustrated with Apple. They seem to be getting ever more controlling in their approach to their consumers. I need to edit music file information as I am a dj. And why can't I import music, unless I buy it from iTunes? Most of all, why can't I use the devices I paid a lot of money for in the way I want to use them, and not be forced to coerced to use apple's fee paying services (iCloud, iTunes).
I have used apple computers since the early 1990's, but in the last year I have gotten rid of my iPhone and my iPad and replaced them with Android devices. Much better and much less control. Perhaps it is time to switch from Apple altogether.Hi

many times it happnes that even I had closed the application window it keep running on backend and I have to manualy close it again by going in 'forced quit'.. any solution....
Closing the window doesn't quit the application on Mac like it does in Windows. You have to select Quit (Program Name) from the top menu or use the keyboard shortcut Command + Q

The PSE 10 process doesn't stop after closing the application. Why??
On Windows 7, the PSE 10 process doesn't stop when closing the application, therefore the PSE 10 app. will not restart once it is closed. The user must stop the process from task manager or reboot before PSE 10 can be restarted on a Windows 7 machine. The forum suggestion to double-click the exe (instead of the shortcut) as a solution, obviously isn't a solution and can't work. There are no updates to PSE 10 and the only access to any support is through this forum. There have been complaints about this on blogs all over the Internet. Why can't Adobe come up with a fix/update or if they have where is it posted?
First of all, there is no difference between the files on the disk and those downloaded as the trial. The only difference is that one comes with a serial number and the other does not. You can put your serial number into the trial version and it will then be activated. The only way the disk would behave differently is if there is some physical flaw (scratches, warping, etc). Usually such damage will cause the installation to fail, it's pretty difficult for such damage to modify the files in such a way that they still install but behave differently.
If you are dropping a file on the shortcut and the Photoshop Elements Editor is opening but the file is not, there could be a few different things going on there. Check your shortcut properties first: does it go to PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe or Photoshop Elements 10.0.exe? If the former, then there are probably some missing support files. If the latter, this is the Welcome Screen, which has likely been configured to launch the Editor automatically. However, you would be sending the file to the Welcome Screen, which doesn't do anything with the file. It is not capable of passing the file off to the Editor, only capable of launching it.
Also, double-clicking a shortcut is generally the exact same thing as double-clicking the file the shortcut points to, but you can add modifiers to shortcuts to make them behave differently. -
Why FF usaes 25% of CPU, even after closing the application..?
After opening two or more browser, automatically FF stars using 24/25% of CPU.
Even one tab having Youtube running.
As well as using huge amount of memory, and this gradually increases.
Closing the application doesn't solves the problem.
After that the application doesn't opens. A window appears and shows.. Firefox already running and is not responding.
Going to Task manager and kill the process solves the problem.
And it's happening every time.
In cyclic order need to follow the annoying process.
.....Tried the processes but NO result found.....
Re-installation of FF didn't worked.
Re-installed Flash player.
No malware found by Malwarebytes.
Even tried running FF in safe mode. (disabling all plugin and extensions)
And the result is.... NO progress. CPU 25% usage and had to kill the task.

Frankly 4-6 icon bounces doesn't sound long to me. Don't forget that for applications such as iTunes how long it takes to open will also depend upon the size of the library.
I don't think CPUs wear down. Conceivably some slow-down could be the result of excessive bad sectors on a hard drive but you say you replaced that (and I would expect it to have shown more serious symptoms were that happening).
You can use Activity monitor to check your RAM usage. Newer applications and newer OS versions will require much more RAM than posted "minimum" If a computer doesn't have enough RAM it starts using the hard drive which is slower than chips. -

I've some trouble prompting user to save change before abnormally closing the application (logging off, shutdownding machine...). I tried to use Runtime.getRuntime().addShutdownHook() and it doesn't seem to work. Here's part of my code. Help please!!!

Nokia Music Application Mp3 Downloads fail
I bought a song using the Nokia Music application on my Lumia 920. The first attempt to download started and then stopped within a second of starting. No sign of any sort of progress bar. Mind you, this would be the first time I tried downloading with the Nokia Music application. I tried again and that failed as well. I find this to be poor application design. The download service in the application should be more robust and should only report a song as being downloaded when it is completely downloaded and not just when the download just about got started.
This sort of thing will steer me clear of using Nokia Music in the future. I still don't have my song. Before anyone suggests to try the web site from PC I did that too and it seems that I used all of my retry downloads for that song.
This is very poor. I use my cellphone primarily to listen to music as I am not one of those that needs to be wired 24/7 and as such I sometimes buy a song on a whim.hi mate,

Get blank page in Sun Java System Application Server Platform Edition 8
I installed Sun Java� System Application Server Platform Edition 8 and got blank page in http://localhost:1100/ and http://localhost:1100/hello/.
The port 1100 is my default port of HTTP port.
My enviroment:
Win2000 professional
j2sdk1.4.2_05
Tomcat 4.1 (use port : 8080, and it works fine after installing Sun Java� System Application Server Platform Edition 8 )
Anybody can help me to solve this problem? I really want to learn J2EE by using this way.

I removed all java related packages/applications/servers etc existing in my pc .
my meaning of remove is complete uninstallation of any java application .
then i installed back again j2sdk1.42_05 then i installed the sun application server .
everything was succesful since then .
If you have any java version installed in your pc , for example j2sdk1.4.2_05 and this
package supports previous servers or other java applications and then you install
sun application server , it doesn't work .
It seems the previous java apps . don't "release" some java resources which are
used or can be used by sun application server .
I hope this can be useful to you .
