Closing Open PO in MM

Pls let me know how can we close the open PO's in MM. Is there a report which will close all the open PO's for a particular period.

Please refer to the online documentation changing and cancelling
Purchase orders which states as follows :
"An item order may be only deleted if it is closed. Items are regarded
as closed if one of the folowing criteria is satisfied :
- the ordered quantity or more has been delivered and invoiced.
- the delivery completed has been set and the invoiced quantity is
greater or equal than the quantity ordered.
- no follow-on processes (such as reservations) relating to the item are
active in the system."

Source Safe causing LabVIEW Quick Start Screen to not appear after closing open vi windows?

Hey All,
We've recently implemented Source Safe version control for LabVIEW on XP and I've noticed that LabVIEW is hanging between closing open vi windows and showing the Quick Start Screen. The usual pattern is for the Quick Start window to appear after the last open vi window is closed. Instead the vi window is closed, the tab at the bottom of the screen says debug development and the Quick Start Screen does not appear, the tab does not read "Getting Started."
I think it is a LabVIEW <--> Source Safe issue when I do a Task Manager Exit on the LabVIEW process that I sometimes see a dialog box asking if I want to save changes in memory to disc and those files are not checked out. But it is too late at that point to do anything as XP clobbers the application before I can do anything.
Anyone else have this issue?

What LabVIEW version do you use?
I have used SourceSafe in every version from 8.0, and in the way some bugs are resolved.

How to put authorization on closing open item list

How can i put authorization on closing the open item list and partially closed open item list.

Hi Rohan,
Have you tried:
Administration -> System Initialisation -> Authorizations -> General Authorizations:
Authurisation Window: General -> Close Document = No Authorisation.
This will block the user from closing documents in the open Item list but also from other menu points.

What causes double letters with a single keystroke while in Calendar. I am using vs 10.10.2 with wireless keyboard. Have closed/opened Calendar, switching keyboard off/on, took out batteries on keyboard and have restarted computer.

What would cause double letters with a single key stroke while adding information to Calendar? Version: 10.10.2 wireless keyboard 27" iMac 3.4 GHz i5. Have restarted computer, have closed/opened Calendar, switched on/off keyboard and taken batteries out/in of keyboard. The problem only happens while typing in Calendar.
Not sure if I am accidentally hitting an unknown key to cause the problem or if it is a Calendar issue.........paul

Try changing System Preferences/Keyboard/Keyboard/Key Repeat to a slower setting. Test.

Closing Open Purchase order

Hi All
I want to Close all the open PO's
For this i m using Mass maintenance
I have seleted the Object as purchase order --Line item details
Well i have selected few POs for testing and marked all of them as delivery completed
But the Problem is that since the version management is active I am not able to close all POs
Also i am not able to select the version management field because it is not available in Object of Purchase order
What can be the possible solution
Has anybody Mass closed POs

Your idea is correct develop a BDC (tcode SHDB) and by using it you can make indicator delivery completed set in PO.
Also consult with ABAP fellow.

You can do this. Before doing this may i know why you want close. Generally, we won't do this. This should be done by the SAP system based on the system. if you want to do it only once for missing materials, you do this. Download all the Open Sales Orders into CSV file. Change the Status of the Orders to Closed (for all open orders). Upload data from Flat file. Then system will take it as closed. Consider the subsequent documents values for the sales orders.
this will help you. other wise you need to request from SAP (If all sales orders already closed, that missed in delta request). You can do the Repair full request.

Check whether reports S_ALR_ 87012079 is useful in case of vendors and report S_ALR_87012169 in case of customers are useful by giving two fiscal years.

Closing open PO with archive contract

Hi Gurus,
Need your expert advise on below issue.
Contract XXXXXX has already been archived, but there is an open PO YYYYY tied to it. How do we go about closing this open PO? There is an error message that buyers get when they try to check the delivery complete box in the u2018Deliveryu2019 tab to close the PO.

Hope you are using extended classic scenorio . If yes you can find the "Complete" tab in the process purchase order screen. Kindly click the complete button , it will close the PO .

How would i go about closing an 'Open' AR / AP Invoice within 8.81? Right clicking on the header does not give me a 'close' option, nor is available for selection with the 'Data' menu?

Answer is. You can't once a financial entry has been made at invoice level. They will need to be credited or paid.

Closing open ports

I installed Solaris 10 on an spare Dell box recently. I'm not well versed in Solaris and I wanted a little more exposure to it. Over the past couple of days I've managed to shut down just about every service I don't use/need, but I'm left with a few nagging open ports that I can't seem to close. The only port I want to have open is 22 for ssh.
Here's a list of currently open ports (as reported by nmap):
PORT STATE SERVICE VERSION
22/tcp open ssh SunSSH 1.1 (protocol 2.0)
111/tcp open rpcbind 2-4 (rpc #100000)
898/tcp open http Solaris management console server (SunOS 5.10 x86; Java 1.4.2_06; Tomcat 2.1)

Port 111: Stopping bind (hence closing port 111) prevents X from starting upon reboot. The boot process won't start the dtlogin screen, and I end up having to use console mode. Is there a way around this?
Port 898: This port is opened by the wbem service. If I disable wbem, the Solaris Managment Console won't work anymore. Is there a configuration option for the SMC that allows me to shutdown the listening port but still allows me to use the SMC from the localhost?
Port 6000: I have no idea how to close this port. I did manage to close port 177 (XDMCP) from the Xconfig file, but I don't know how to close 6000. I don't need any remote X connectivity at all. Any ideas?

But you can control wbem (port 898) by changing the
file /etc/rc2.d/S90wbem to /etc/rc2.d/s90wbem. So on
reboot it won't start. To turn it off now just enter
from the root prompt "/etc/rc2.d/S90wbem stop" (w/o
o the quotes). I'm not sure about rpcbind.Yeah, I was able to stop the wbem service permanently by toying inside rc2.d, but without wbem, the Solaris Mgt Console doesn't work anymore. I kinda like the Console, but in my opinion it shouldn't be listening for remote connections; there should be an option to allow its use only on the localhost.

How can closed open cursor.........?

Closing open ports - using firewall

Have everything set at the most strict settings at my mac book pro, however, came across this link and they suggested several ports where still open. Can or should they be closed? How?

While on my td bank secure site i log off then press the back arrow my secure page that i closed opens up.when i use internet explorer the same page doesnt sho

when i log off my td bank secure account page with the td log off botton i get a new td page. if i press the back arrow on the address bar the secure page i just closed pops up. when i do the same witn onternet explorer a generic td bank page home page pops up NEVER an account page with secure info shown. when this happens every time i dont know if i have logged off the secure page. i close my online browser[now firefox] to be sure the connection is broken but is the secure page open to any kind of breach? i am using firefox due to concern about intternet explore but i know on explorer when i log off td bank secure page i was on i can not access that page again unlees i login ,on firefox i press back arrow on address bar and the secure page i logged off shows up.i feel this is an important issue and must be addressed. thank you

What are your cookie settings?

You can delete all history when you exit Firefox, but it seems odd that a secure page that should expire is still accessible. It may be a timed expiration, but check the third party cookie settings to make sure it is not allowed to be saved.
I hope this helps prevent this from happening again.
