Cloud Annoying Texts 620-0

I have Verizon Cloud for iPhone 5 and every time I backup to Cloud I receive DOZENS of annoying and meaningless text messages.
Today after a backup I received 16 MESSAGES!
They all say about the same thing except the content after "CONT=" varies. The texts all come from 620-0, here is an example:

How do I turn this off?

Hello Lisatomgray. Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the text messages you have been receiving. The texts alerts are likely from the Backup Assistant Plus service that assists with email back up. I recommend checking your features list via My Verizon, and just canceling the Backup Assistant Plus portion. Leave the standard Backup Assistant which is for contacts. This will stop the text messages from coming through.

Hi,
You need to extract salient terms (e.g. people or product names) from your text documents by using the text enrichment or the text tagger component.
This step will generate new attributes, which can be used in your tag cloud.

Annoying text "as Smart Object" in filename

Is there a way to automatically skip the annoying text in the file name "as Smart Object" (eg. test1 as smart object.jpg) when a file, opened from ACR as a smart object, is saved?

When you create something as a smart object? No. That is there intentionally to remind you that you chose to create it as a smart object (because people forget, often).

Blinking and annoying text when writing a message ...

Hy there Skype users!
With the new update there is an annoying "bug" with message writing(for me)!
My specs are : Win 7 64bit(updated), latest java/flashplayer... everything, Geforce gtx 550 Ti video card with latest driver.
Fix it please! Have nice day!

Some common factor is NVIDIA GTX graphic adapter.
Hmm, that's right. antiqwiz and I both have a nVidia GTX 550 Ti video card. ootomaskooo has a Nvidia GTX560.
Update:
- Flickering of text while typing in the first line of the chatbox is still present in Skype ver. 7.2.60.103.
- Flickering goes way when the message goes to the second line.
- A little flickering at times is present when typing is continued.
Suggestions that Didn't Work:
1. updating GTX 550 Ti video card drivers to ver. 347.52
2. checking nVidia Control Panel and setting "Adjust Image Settings with Preview" to Let the 3D application decide
3. opening "Tools -> Options -> Advanced settings" and checking if other programs are listed under “Manage other programs access to Skype”
4. deleting all files under Skype's AppData folder
5. uninstalling and reinstalling Skype to ver. 7.2.60.103
6. doing a clean install of Skype (removing all registry entries associated with Skype, etc.)
7. reverting Skype's font to default
8. updating Skype to ver. 7.2.60.103
9. updating Internet Explorer to IE11.0.17
Workaround:
- reverting to ver.7.0.0.102 (a little but not-so-annoying flickering occurs at times)
Will try next:
- update GTX 550 Ti video card drivers to ver. 347.88

I updated the phone, and now I can't get texts. All our info is merged-- and other phones are getting my messages. I'm not sure where I need to go to turn off or on the right info on cloud and also with messaging.

Check settings>iCloud, settings>messages and settings>FaceTime. Don't use the same apple id in all devices.

Annoying text delay

Whenever I receive a text message, i go to open my phone, and instead of showing me the new message in the thread, it shows me a previous part of the conversation and i have to scroll down to read the new message...
Its not life or death, but really annoying when you have a couple chats on the go with a couple people....

Annoying text shadows and text backgrounds...

I agree with Chiatanya... the text shadows are very annoying! So too are the text backgrounds. I updated from 10.2.4 and didn't have either of those problems. Does anyone know of a way to eliminate the text background and/or text shadow? Transparent color???

Hi Richard, when any file or folder on the destop is selected it exhibits the "text background" you are showing and when it not selected the text has a drop shadow. There may be some haxie out there that will change it for you but I know of no way to accomplish that from within the system.

How do I turn off the ANNOYING text hover in the flash builder 4 editor

I love Flash Builder 4, but one thing really bugs me about it: the hover tool tip that pops up when you hover over a class in your code.
I am climbing the walls trying to find a way to disable this content assist text hover.
I don't need it and it is really getting on my nerves because every time I move my cursor over a class, the pop up gets in my way.
There has to be a way to turn this off!!!!

That preference you found only disables the ASDoc content in the tooltip, it does not disable the tooltip itself. The default, non-ASDoc, content shows the signature of the definition. There isn't currently a way to completely disable tooltips. You can file a request at http://bugs.adobe.com/flex.

Annoying TEXT FORMAT LEADING sht

Iv had this issue before but its being ignorant now
i have a php email scrtipt i wrote, and flash sends data to
that and it emails it. that all works fine, but it emails with
<TEXT FORMAT LEADING ect... on each of the forms.
usually that means html is turned on, and it was, so i turned
it off. but its still doign that. so off and on it still does it, i
just want plain text. whats odd is that i have an fla open where
the exact same script and form does it right, iv even copied and
pasted to the other fla and it wont work...odd.

Annoying text messages

Is there a way to stop receiving text messages from yahoo about weather and amber alerts? I keep getting these texts everyday and that basically knocks my 200 text messages down to 170 a month if I can't stop receiving these.

Annoying Text component.

I have a class with a function that dynamicly creates some Text components and sets their properties. This works fine. They turn up where they should.
However, the e.target.x property in the event handler returns 0 for all the Text components. When testing e.target.width and e.target.toString() I get correct, individual values.
Is this a bug ??

Short, simplified answer: The currentTarget property is the component you attached the listener to. The target property could/is the component you were interested in's parent/container.

How do I get rid of annoying text at end of yahoo email?

Using Safari and Yahoo email. No signature has been set yet every email ends with a tailing set of characters, one character per line as follows:

I am actually asking for my daughter. This has been going on for a long time and I am stumped. I have gone into both Yahoo email and Safari preferences and can find no reason for this happening.

This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2.

Verizon Cloud - texts and call log

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and an HTC One. I can back up photos, videos, contacts and other documents onto Verizon Cloud, but I don't see my texts or call log. Are these phones not compatible with the cloud for texts and calls?

Text and call logs do not have 'views' like photos, videos and music, it is a backup & restore only function. You could try restoring them if you want to see them using the Restore function under tools but that will download it to your device again, most likely putting back some calls/text messages you have deleted so you would have to delete again.
If it is saying it backed up that many calls/txts, you probably won't know for sure until you try to restore it to a phone (new or current).

SMS Text to Landline - great idea - but not though...

I like the fact that texts can be sent to landlines. BUT unless you recognise the number, the sender texts their name, or you can work out who it's from, they can be pretty annoying.
Now that mobiles are so much more advanced people send texts out to contacts in their address book sometimes without thinking about or checking which number (home/work/mobile etc) it is going to. Companies using sms to contact clients are going to receive more and more responses into their landline and it will often be impossible to work out who sent the text.
As far as I can see the only options to control this are to limit the hours when texts are received or turn it off completely.
I would like to suggest another option to BT:
FORWARD THE SMS TO ANOTHER MOBILE SO THAT THE MESSAGE CAN BE VIEWED IN ITS ORIGINAL FORM.
Simples.

I too have been recieving these annoying text to speech message calls, all from the same number and always the same message. They come through at the same time to my wife's mobile too... Each being an indentical message???
I've followed the instructions by dialing the 0800 number below and have managed to get what I wanted. However, recently they've started up again?????
When I ring said number to 'change' I'm informed that I've already selected to 'not recieve these' and yet they're still coming through!!!!
When it first started, I spoke to a human being who, once he established I wasn't a BT customer, didn't want to know!!!
But as it's YOUR service, I feel you have some responsibility to let us know how to permantly stop these nuisance calls!!!
Where do I go from here.... would somebody PLEASE help me!!!!
btw, the message says. "Keep this message from Cole & Trevor n Cole...Three million and eight billion....... and so on
